Terrible. This place is not good anymore
this is one of our favorite restaurants and never disappoints.
Both the service and the meal were superb. They made our celebration dinner truly special while simultaneously juggling our time constraints. An excellent experience from beginning to end. Well done!
Fantastic as always. Food, drinks, service, and setting were all superb.
I loved this restaurant's food!, and our server was excellent. She proudly explained about each dish we were interested in. The dishes were outstanding. 5 friends and I shared the fried goat chees (amazing), pommes frites, and cauliflower. my seafood spaghetti with preserved lemon was fantastic Unlike most pasta dishes, it did not need parmesan chees to finish off the dish: the flavors within the ingreidents were plenty. My friends enjoyed the octupus, the halibut and the ricotta gnocci.
I love this place. The atmosphere is fantastic. The bar tenders are great.. the food is delicious and the service is wonderful
Fabulous food - everytime! I had the ricotta gnocchi with rabbit - superb! Goat cheese appetizers always great - and just a nice taste; not too much.
Love! On my list to visit every time I'm in ATL!
Bar - welcoming staff and professional service. We had a drink and a good focaccia while waiting for our table
Dining - sticky table, definitely needing some in depth cleaning. Salty, very salty Speck (which by the way it is not a smoked prosciutto but a pork belly and a registered trade mark, IGP, in Italy), fine grained finocchiona, that should be coarse grained, both difficult to forget and upsetting.
Grilled bone-in short ribs, weird taste and get ready to fight against them the rest of the night. Chestnut Pasta with boar and pappardelle with pork, both fair.
Impeccable service though a bit too wordy. It was our second time at Ecco, and it is probably our last. Sadly, because we hoped that a fine Italian near by was very handy.
My go to spot when visiting Atlanta.
A new restaurant for us and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience. We had a group of seven celebrating my husband’s birthday and it was a jolly party. Wonderful food, excellent service in an unusually and wonderfully quiet and aesthetically pleasing space. The birthday treats of gelato and wine were most appreciated. A superb time was had by all!
Great place for a date or a big group. Food was outstanding and the service was great.
We love Ecco and this evening was no exception. After returning from Basque country, our level of tolerance for dining out and not being served the freshest ingredients was low so the only place we considered was Ecco for dinner in midtown. The charcuterie items were highlighted by smoked swordfish. Great food, lovely atmosphere and excellent service. Atlanta has great food and chefs but rarely gets the dining out experience right...Ecco always delivers.
As good a food as there is anywhere in town. Outstanding
Nick was an amazing server. Food was excellent.
Never disappoints! My husband and I enjoyed an evening out with his family. Knowledgable friendly staff, innovative dishes, great wine selection. Only complaint was from Grandma who wished her Moscow Mule came in a copper mug. We will be back soon!
My wife and I ended up getting a night by ourselves unexpectedly and decided to go for a date night. After looking at all our options we decided on our favorite spot, since we hadn’t gone in a while. It was a great experience as always. We had our favorite fried goat cheese but skipped on the gelato. We’ve been going to Ecco Midtown for years and it always has been a great experience.
Always a great experience. It’s our restaurant for all special occasions.
I wish we could add atars
Second visit to Ecco midtown and it was fantastic this time as well. The staff remembered us and took great care of us. We’ll surely be back. Maybe once a month
Loved it! Food was great, ambiance and service was great, and we got a great table
Always great service and food. Our fave midtown restaurant.
The staff was amazing
Spaghetti with crab, asparagus and Calabrian chilies was perfection. I will be back soon to have it again.
We had dinner at the bar and from the minute we walked in to the time we left, service was impeccable, food was phenomenal, drinks were wonderful. Will go back and would recommend!!!
We always enjoy Ecco! Consistency is the name of the game with Ecco. Always been consistent with their food and service........ALWAYS! Have never been disappointed. The wait staff is probably the best in the city! Enjoy!
Loved every recommendation from our server, Nick, at Ecco. It's one of the best restaurants in the city, but the spectacular service makes it even better!
NCR customer dinner. Eating, drinking and closing deals!
The food, though pricey, was delicious. Our server was super friendly.
We wee going to an event so there was a time limit on our dinner. You guys timed it perfectly with great service and ticket times.Had a blast as always in all the years that you have been open i have never had a bad experience.I started here the first day you opened and just love it everytime.
Been here many many times over the years. Not a good experience. Service poor and discourteous. Order wasn’t right. Didn’t check on us after the rush had passed. Had to ask for drinks and food. Not a good experience overall.
Pros. My lamb risotto was awesome. Sons steak was v good.
Cons. Wife’s short rib appetizer as a meal was iffy. For high end spot a better wine list - esp by the glass.
Issue. I bought myself a v large gift certificate as 20% bonus. 2 of last 3 visits closed for private dinner. Can’t even have a drink at the bar.
Net. Ecco is good. the Lawrence is a better overall choice.
Only one valet on duty and cars backing up on the street. Originally sat my party of 6 men in a booth that would have been too cramped but they quickly accommodated us with a table. Our Server Andrea was great - helpful and attentive without being intrusive. Food was good all around except the desserts which were not quite as good as the meals .
Great food, always consistent. Service at the bar and resturant were fantastic. Stephanie was superb!!
Food was awesome. Service was attentive but a little slow at times. They were very busy. Overall great experience. Food was amazing.
Great food - great experience - great restaurant!
The decibel reading in the restaurant at 9pm on a Wednesday was 87. (I use SoundPrint on my phone). That's very loud and is likely to cause permanent damage to employees with long exposure. Our table of 4 found it difficult to converse without raising our voices. My throat was quite hoarse by the end of the evening. My mild tints was roaring within 10 minutes in the room. I highly recommend the food. In warm weather I've eaten on the terrace and been able to have 4-6 person conversations. Inside, I think a table of two can probably lean in and hear each other comfortably enough. I've been inn the curtain-wrapped too for large groups and found it impossible to talk to anyone other than those immediately next to or across from me. With everyone else at the table doing the same the noise level rises uncomfortably. Sadly, I have a hard time recommending this to anyone who wants to have a conversation with more than one person.
Food to expensive for it’s mediocre quality. Environment was empty and weird.
