Charred lettuce, Burrata flat bread, cheese board, espresso martini, service and atmosphere 👌🏼👍
We had a disappointing experience for lunch today. We started out with high hopes and a pleasant beginning but regrettably our service and dining experience was not at all what we expected it to be. There were three of us and my meal was presented to me as it should’ve been, my daughter’s meal was incorrect, and my wife’s meal did not arrive for another five minutes. My daughter’s meal was sent back to be corrected only to have to be corrected again and the second correction took quite a while. When the last portion of her corrected meal arrived we were ready to go. We truly hoped it would’ve been better as we were excited when the restaurant opened near our home. Unfortunately the experience soured us to the point we won’t be back.
Love having in the neighborhood.
But someone PLEASE tell the owner to take down that horrific and self indulgent freshman art school painting above the hostess station. Bad art is never more than bad art. Ugh!
Delightful experience! Great interior design; excellent service; nice wine list; knowledgeable and attentive staff; creative cuisine. We had delicious dorade with a nice bright tomato panzanella and rich lamb agnolotti.
Nice ambiance, great service. The food is too heavy and too greasy, even the fish.
Wonderful. Good food and good service. Actually wonderful food and service.
The experience was outstanding. This was my second trip this month. I’ll be back soon.
Excellent made in house bucatini and chestnut rigatoni. Molly our server was very attentive and knowledgeable about any menu item we asked about. Wine and desserts were scrumptious. No waiting for service and no rushing. Lovely place for a beautiful lunch
Awesome experience and food was delicious!!!
As always, we so enjoy Ecco, our "go-to" restaurant. Food's very good, and although the drinks could be bigger, they are well mixed. Great service. WE LIKE IT!
It was our first time to eat there, and it was totally wonderful
The only part I did not like was the hostess. The restaurant was pretty empty and she sat me at a curved table instead of a regular table. Just not very welcoming. Made me feel uncomfortable.
We love going to Ecco. The Food is very good, as is the Service. And on this particular visit, it was quiet! We highly recommend the weekend brunches ... very different and tasty.
The duck pasta was bland and lacked taste. Ate it because I ordered it! The lamb pasta was too strong in flavor. Overpowered by its pungent flavor. Our friend only took two bites! The waitress was very nice and pleasant. However the service is so-so for a restaurant of this scale. When our food arrived our appetizer plates where still at the table. There was no coordination in removing them and it was an awkward moment. We had to ask for flatware once the plates arrived as two of us did not have them. I must say the Brussels sprouts flatbread was DELICIOUS! I would go back just to have this! Worthwhile!
Food was awful too salty. Expected top-notch service and there was none
Came here for a date night with my boyfriend. Front of house staff was friendly, and the woman who took our drinks order was superb but the man who was our waiter for the night was not friendly, personable or really trying at all. Never went over the menu or specials with us. I had to overhear what other waiters were telling their tables to know. Had to ask for bread while every other table received it immediately upon being seated. Anytime we interacted with him it felt like we were bothering him. The food was delicious but the service really took away from the experience.
Went on a date night expecting the best for our first dinner there. Waitress was non attentive and didn't know menu well for "fav" options of other customers. Menu selection small, but the bar life looked fun. Next time we will only have drinks at the bar and have dinner elsewhere. Not worth the money in our opinion.
Second time visiting, Brittany was an amazing server. She is very knowledgeable with the menu and what wine pairs with what. She asked about our taste in wine and did a very nice job in choosing the wine.
Food was prepared to our order and in a timely manner.
The service element is always polished and poised.
The food was hit or miss...our appetizer was fun and decadent.
Main course the demi glace' was a bit cloying and the insides of our ravioli was not ambient.
Tal was delightful, as was all the staff.
Our biggest suggestion is that better signage as to entrance and exit.
Also you are charging enough....three dollars to park is just off-putting.
Ecco is a great new dining experience. I had the Brussels sprouts flatbread. It was attractively prepared but was not very flavorful. I loved the atmosphere and the decor.
First time there at this location. Seemed disorganized. Our server rushed us even though we needed explanations on menu! Seemed we were an interruption rather than the reason HE was there! Got nicer towards tip time!!!
Lunch with a friend in town for a few days. Loved the grilled cheese.
Loved dining on the outdoor patio. Nice quiet setting somewhat hidden from the street.
First time to try out Ecco (Buckhead) tonight and WOW, what a great experience. We started with the Gulf Shrimp and the Stuffed Piquillo Peppers - both were delicious and I will do a repeat on both appys. My friend had the Half Roasted Chicken which was moist and quite good (I had a taste). I LOVED my Toasted Atlantic Cod...highly recommend if you want a nice light stew-like fish dish, and the cod stayed firm in the broth. Our server (young gentleman) was professional, timed the courses and was just overall pleasant. So nice addition to our neighborhood. Ambience is lively, but still being able to have a nice conversation. Pretty bar, pretty restaurant. I will be back!
I had read numerous reviews that raved about the service. Our server must not have been there those nights. I asked for water, which seemed to disappoint the server, who never refilled my water without being asked to. I had to actually flag him down at one point to get my water refilled. However, the minute a wine glass were low, he was back asking if he could refill. He never looked at my water glass in the process. We were sharing plates, which I think irritated the server. We had the cheese/meat board and then wanted to order plates to share. He suggested that we order more meals than we wanted. We ended up with three to-go boxes. We should not have listened to him. I had the fish - it was amazing; I only wish that the service had also been amazing.
Wow. Food was outstanding. Prepared well and good flavors and presentation. Service was prompt and very personable. We will come back for sure. Try the stuffed olives.
Wonderful as always! Great Sunday brunch menu!
Nice menu, beautiful restaurant and great service. Food was awesome too.
Appetizers were pretty good, however, the food was too salty. I would go back for appetizers and drinks and skip the main dishes.
Fun and yummy birthday lunch complete with special menu and comp celebration dessert. Food was yummy and ambiance great. Service was adequate. We were able to have conversation without yelling which is nice. Overall very good experience!
Exceptional location and ambiance. Great, friendly staff. I shall return...
The pannini sandwich was very average, but all the rest was excellent.
The food was fine drinks were ok. The server was attentive and then the fire alarm went off and blared for the last 15 min of our meal. We skipped out on dessert bc it was just super loud. Everyone’s meal was disturbed- management could have offered a small voucher or dessert to go for those of us that had our meal ruined. So much for a date night!
Fried goat cheese balls with honey - fried cheese...yes please
yellowtail tartare - super fresh tasting
mussels - I could drink the broth (and did)
Squid Ink pasta - the bone marrow touch was the missing link
Shaved brussel sprouts flatbread - yum, with a kick
Roasted broccoli and cauliflower - perfectly charred with Parmesan
Roasted cod - mushroom heaven
We love Ecco but this was our first time at the Buckhead location. It’s now our favorite. Had the new brunch menu and it was fantastic. The staff is friendly.
Very disappointed in the experience at the Buckhead location. After loving Midtown for so long I expected to be treated the same way at Buckhead. Our server was actually great but the sweeping around our table as we were still eating, spraying smelly chemicals and dragging garbage bins through the restaurant at 9:45 pm when they still took reservations until after 9:00 pm was beyond disappointing and truly disrespectful. As a person who has worked in the service industry I can read between the lines but you really shouldn’t take clients in if you aren’t willing to treat them as though they matter just as much as the folks who were there at 6:30 pm. I was beyond embarrassed when I brought my friend from out of town who was thrilled to come to Atlanta to this great new place that just opened not too long ago. Worst part is I can almost walk to this location. I won’t return to here, where we felt more like a nuisance than a guest.
So, so good. Everything was better than anticipated.
Unfortunately not as good as the original. The food was lackluster and the staff seemed uneducated on the menu. Defiinitely not the same experience that you get from the Midtown location. This was my second time at the Buckhead location-the first was for lunch service and both times were lackluster at best. Will need to stick to the original location for the true Ecco experience.
Tables too close together, table (for 2) too small, wine too warm, manager kind of “cocky”, food average
great food! Good service. Quite around lunch time but still a fun vibe
