Food and service were very good. They worked hard to make up for seating us late. I always appreciate that attention to detail.
In town from nyc and met a friend for dinner. Food was really good however the server completely by accident knocked over a glass of red wine all over my pants and jacket. Total accident.
Where my distaste comes from is the manager apologized however they did t offer to pay for any dry cleaning or even comp a round of drinks on the meal. I know this was an accident however this is a huge miss.
Also I’m in town on business so it’s not like I’ve had the luxury of packing a lot of extra clothes.
Great food and great service. The grilled octopus and fried goat cheese was fantastic.
We loved the fried goat cheese appetizer, and I had the pasta with celery root, etc., which was heavenly. Pleasant atmosphere. Nice but semi-casual.
Requested a “corner” table in the regular dining room. Someone must have requested it ahead of us, so they placed us in a corner table in a curtained (opened) separate dining area. Not our favorite spot but food & service was fine!
Mariam always treats us like queens!!!
Ecco is one of my favorite restaurants in Atlanta. The atmosphere is definitely upscale but never stuffy, and the service is excellent. The food is consistently wonderful and they have an extensive wine list. My go to dish is the pappardelle pasta with braised pork; it's one that I dream about. They also have a wonderful bar that is great for cocktails or a small happy hour; it's the kind of bar I think Hemingway would've loved. So for drinks, dinner or both Ecco is highly recommended!
Delicious food and a great server.
Never disappointed. Service, atmosphere and food were all great. Waiter was on point and efficient and I love the wine by the glass choices. Menu has something for everyone with out being overwhelming or trying to meet lowest common denominator. We were allowed to linger and chat after bill was paid which was especially nice. I look forward to returning soon.
A friend and I had a pre-theater dinner on the patio. It was a wonderful experience!
We have eaten at Ecco in Midtown on many occasions. As always, the food and service are of a very high quality. And that's what is expected. This was our Anniversary Occasion.
Unfortunately, Ecco did not recognize our Anniversary at our dinner. We were Disappointed because when I completed the reservation form I indicated that this would be a "special occasion".
Food is always GREAT!. Caroline and the Bar Crew are awesome!
Mother in town
We've enjoyed Ecco many times but hadn't been in a couple years. This time the menu seemed terribly limited. Only about 5 entrees and all really "heavy". We all ended up just ordering a mix of starters because the choices were so unappealing. What was once a "go to" restaurant for us is no longer
Excellent but noisy
The food and service at the table was good. The hostess left more than to be desired and almost ruined the entire dining experience, but I can't ding the entire night by the hostess that sat us. I also had to correct an overcharge of $50.00. I was charged for a bottle instead of a glass.
All of the dishes were creative and flavorful, with the baby beet salad being the tastiest beet dish both of us had ever eaten. The fried goat cheese appetizer with honey and black pepper was delightfully good and unique. We appreciated the noise levels being moderated by the design of the restaurant that absorbed and muffled the sound as the room filled up with diners. I particularly enjoyed the lighting in the room as it was warm and inviting. It lent a quiet comfort to the experience as the mixture of interior lighting and the moderation of the natural lighting blended to make a very appealing interior space.
Always great food and service is a high energy environment!
Ecco was came highly and enthusiastically recommended and it did not disappoint. We stuck to sides and some charcuterie and everything was great. Our server did a great job explaining the menu and even discussing parts of ATL we should see. A real delight.
We let the server guide us through the large menu of small plates and were rewarded with great flavor combinations.
The food was great! I would just leave out pomegranate with my scallops. I wasn’t expecting the crunch and it threw me off. The service was good, except that my husband wasn’t finished with his plate and it was take away before he could really say something . Overall, good experience.
Service is impeccable; the staff works as a team to be certain that food and drinks get to their guests right away. The cheese and charcuterie selections were wonderful, as was the polenta, and the pistachio dacquoise. Also, the Amatitan Sunset cocktail was excellent. The architecture seems a bit acoustically challenged, and it is hard to hear at times. But the creativity from the kitchen and the service make up for it.
Sat outside for first time, great experience. Always been one of my favorite restaurants.
Charred Baby Octopus appetizer was tender and flavorful. Monkfish Osso Bucco has barely any meat. Nothing special about their steak. Service was excellent.
Outstanding meal, as always. Great variety, creative selections, fresh and expertly prepared, and suitable for sharing choices make for lively exchange with friends. The noise level can be challenging for conversations.
Good food, good service, no complaints at all.
I love this place! Ecco never disappoints
Great food, service and atmosphere
I very much enjoy this restaurant and its wine and food. This visit I gave the food
only 4 stars instead of 5 because the pasta with mushroom etc was overly salty.
Still I continue to recommend Ecco restaurant
Kind of an obnoxious couple sitting next to us, but nothing you can do about that I suppose
Best food with great gluten free options. So glad we went!
I've been going to Ecco for 10 years because I know I won't be disappointed.
Food is consistently great!
I enjoy Ecco's atmosphere a lot, and the food is very good; although the last couple of times I've been, the dishes seem a bit on the salty side. I would still recommend it though.
This restaurant hit all the points of what we were looking for in a restaurant , good food with good ambiance. The fried goat cheese with honey and pepper was an out of this world mix of savory and sweet. The mushrooms and sauce on the cavatteli accented with rye bread crumbs...amazing. Topped off the evening with the chocolate torte for dessert and we could not have asked for more for a wonderful dinner experience.
AMAZING food at an awesome restaurant. Always enjoy dining here!! Food is next level + the service is spot on!!
Our experience at Ecco was fantastic. The service was impeccable. Derek and Jay were very attentive but not intrusive. They worked at our pace which enabled us to relax and enjoy. The food was top notch, with a variety of offerings! I really love the open kitchen! Ecco is now one of our favorite spots in the city!
Ecco is a go-to for me, so when clients were coming to town and I needed something convenient, Ecco was a no-brainer. Amazing food, fabulous service and happy clients make for a great meal.
Our server was fantastic and very attentive (even remembered me from my first visit 2 months ago). He was able to recommend a few items on the menu and they tasted delicious. Had a bottle of wine, a seasonal flatbread and the Pappardelle, which is my favorite dish. We went for a date night; had lot's to talk about and was left to our own, which was great :)
At the end of the night, our server brought out a birthday cake. All of a sudden, a large table of people started singing the birthday song to him; don't think I could have planned it any better myself.
Good vibes, food, wine and service. I recommend to anyone living in or visiting Atlanta.
Ecco was a great spot that I'm glad I finally tried. Not being right on Peactree, it's much quieter outside and the other folks dining are actually interested in the food, not just finding a place to sit and gab. Lauren, our server was fantastic and offered great advice on menu items. The Fried Goat cheese and Flatbreads are a must-try.
