Ebesu Robata and Sushi is consistently the best food in town with the best service. No other local place comes close, and it’s even listed in the top 15 restaurants in Dallas by Dallas magazine. This place deserves it, I can’t express that enough. Every server is great, but David always does an excellent job as well!

EBESU is an absolute gem. It’s hard to find sushi grade fish in the Dallas area, let alone an above average sushi restaurant. This place is quaint so reservations are hard to come by on a Friday or Saturday, so your best bet may have to settle on a weekday dining experience. As we entered through, we knew this place started on the right fin. If it smells like a fish market…RUN away. This place did not! The fish was as as fresh as can be in these parts. The craftsmanship cut were perfectly proportioned- not too much rice not too much nori… and not too thick you couldn’t eat the roll. Didn’t try the cooked menu items but the menu appears to be standard fare. But wait! There’s more… they actually have happy hour menu and drinks! Truly hope this place keeps it up!

Our server Ploy was very friendly and a pleasure to talk with. All of the food was so delicious. Especially all the cooked appetizers and robata grilled items. The sashimi was very fresh. The only complaint I have is the sushi rice. They don’t season it properly with rice vinegar. So it’s technically not “sushi rice”. Very bland. But other than that, the service and flavors of everything were on point. They brought us out a complimentary anniversary desert which was a very nice touch. We will be back for sure!

Great local Sushi place to bring friends or coworkers. It's not huge inside but it's not small either. Food was fresh and inviting. Their bluefin special is a nice way to try bluefin four different ways. Overall worth a visit.

Ebesu continues to impress even after our 8th or 9th time there. Well worth the drive for us and one of our favorite places. Not just because of the exceptional food and ambiance, but also the exceptional people that work there. Ploy has waited on us a couple of times and she is always so polite and courteous. Service is the best from top to bottom. Hands down my favorite place for Sushi and Robata. Thanks again for always making a nice evening for us!

We had the 4 course dinner along with few other plates and every single one of them was delicious! The presentation was beautiful too. I am Japanese and this is definitely one of the best authentic Japanese foods I've had in DFW area. The service is amazing just as in Japan as well. I will definitely be coming back here again.

This is one of my wife and my favorite places for an upscale sushi dinner. Excellent food and some different things. The eel tempura pressed sushi is outstanding. The food is pricey, but it is very high quality. The drink menu is also very good, with some interesting takes on classics.

We dined for the first (but definitely not the last) time at EBESU last night—a Thursday during Restaurant Week. Everything about our experience was outstanding. The restaurant was clean and appeared to be taking appropriate precautions during the pandemic. Our server, Ryan, was attentive and personable and offered outstanding suggestions and advice throughout the meal. Each member of the staff that visited our table, from the person who brought our drinks to the servers who delivered our food, was personable and offered additional description or information about what we ordered. Not only was the food delicious but it was also beautiful to look at. The nigiri assortment was fresh. The roboto trio (salmon, tenderloin, corn) was tasty. Soba noodle soup was flavorful and a huge portion. Do not pass up the poached pears if you have an opportunity to try them. We didn’t mention that was our anniversary when making the reservation, but OpenTable must have let them know because they brought us a delicious additional dessert to commemorate the occasion. I hesitate to recommend this place too highly because I fear it will become so popular that I will not be able to get a reservation in the future.
