The food at Eberly isn't yet destination-worthy, but the place is worth stopping by for the people watching alone.
The food was great , but portion so small spent $ 60 ( 1 drink) and was still hungry. Had to go home and eat something else.
Great bar and drinks.
First of all great ambience. Great service. Good food. Would like some more vegetarian options for brunch
Whenever anyone visits from out of town, we always take them to Eberly. The food, the atmosphere, and the service are always out of this world.
Wife’s birthday - was our first visit to Eberly. Great experience!
Phenomenal!! Eberly is always fabulous!! Had a very wonderful time!!
All is very good. Service took a long time for 2 courses
We sat in the "library room." It was ok. I think it looks better when it is dark out. I think the menu is small and limited. When we were finally offered the bar menu, we all found something we liked. The food is fine. The prices are not. The best thing we had were the crab hushpuppies. My husband also liked his fish. The burgers we got were undercooked and my brother's steak was undercooked. When he sent it back, it returned well-done. We didn't say anything as we were just ready to leave. I won't be back because there are too many other places in Austin.
We celebrated Mother’s Day. Appreciate the friendly valets and that we were seated in a timely fashion. We tried the Brunch plate, frittata, eggs Benedict, chicken & waffles, and pop tart. Waffle was burned (black on bottom), so we requested a repair. Pancake replacement was much better quality and preparation. The food was good, not great. Our table Service was friendly & proficient, but we had several random attempts and of food delivered to our table that we didn’t order. The setting is very pretty, especially the bar area.
Mother’s Day brunch
I have wanted to try Eberly for a while, and I was not disappointed! Came here for brunch for Mother's Day and it was perfect, even for my picky eater mom. The bar is gorgeous, the food spectacular and the service is prompt and courteous. Dine in the atrium if you can, then pull up a seat at the antique bar back for a drink afterward.
Our second visit. Ordered the Halibut once again. We’ll be back! Can’t believe it took us so long to discover Eberly.
Dined at Eberly for my Bday-Very welcoming staff upon arrival and beautiful decor. They prepared a customized menu with a "Happy Birthday" message which was a great touch! Other than a few service mishaps, it was a lovely evening. Raphael at the bar is great! I'll be back.
Everything was great except the pork chop. The pork chop was dry and tough. I didn’t even try to finish it because the taste. The quinoa was yummy. Really whiffed on the centerpiece.
Our server was awesome and the bartender in the tavern was friendly too. Very great service.
Scrumptious and well attended. Ambiance very unique
I was visiting from manhattan and after doing some research I came across Eberly. And I am so thankful I did because I had the most amazing meal and experience. I felt as though I was at the Maritime hotel in chelsea NY but better! Zach, our waiter, was amazing! Being that I’m vegan it’s nornally difficult to come across tasty dishes. He made sure everything was cooked perfectly so I could eat. I also had an amazing gin cocktail that I am totally replicating for Home. I am going to highly suggest Eberly to everyone and anyone traveling to Austin. You become a bit of a snob dining in manhattan so it was a wonderful experience finding Eberly.
First visit and we were delighted by the design and especially the food. Loved the Halibut dish! It was early Sunday eve following the opera, so it was relatively quiet—an Austin anomaly.
The restaurant was extremely and uncomfortably cold. The food got cold quickly because the room was so frigid. It was not enjoyable at all. I ate and had to leave so my husband could pay the bill while I went to the car.
It was absolutely amazing. Everything!
We had a lot of fun- great service! The food was subpar overall. The flavors didn’t pop like they should have. Dessert was definitely the best part.
Excellent! Only wish food had come out hot. Our meals were just warm. Love the vibe...
Our best dinner experience in recent memory. Such creativity and respect for the potential of fresh ingredients. (If there is a mushroom dish on the seasonal menu, order it! There is genius in their treatment of morels) Also, the service model is well balance--attentive but not hovering. Great surprise: the wines are quite wonderful and not overpriced.
Six of us went for a celebration and had a great time. the scallops were delicious, but the chicken a bit dry. All other food was exceptional. There are lots of interesting spaces - the very fancy bar area, the glass room, the main dining. I asked for a quiet corner and we got one! All of us had a lovely time and plan on going back to try other things to eat and areas to dine.
I love the location and the lay out of this restaurant. It is decorated very beautifully. I went for brunch and the eggs benedict was fantastic. I would definitely recommend this place. The only thing I would add is that the plates are just a little smaller than a lot of brunch spots and the drinks are small for the price, but overall we had a great experience. The complimentary valet is great too since parking is limited in this area.
A beautiful restaurant with amazing and attentive service and fantastic food! We hope to be back soon!
Great atmosphere, cozy and relaxing. Great service, Dean was very knowledgeable and friendly. Food was good, unfortunately the scallop dish was a bit too salty, but they were fresh and still good.
This was one of the best meals and service I have had in Austin in a long time. Everything was so fantastic and we will definitely be returning!
Our food took way too long. Main course was served 1 and 1/2 hour after we ordered. Long time in between apps and main course.
Excellent food, good wines. We spend close to $200.- and found it very tacky that the waitress informed us that the bread would cost an additional $ 3.- Be more spiritual and less materialistic!
I don’t care for the main dining area but the mid section and back bar are awesome. Food is good for price. Mixed drinks are cleaver and delicious.
For the price the food should be amazing. And it’s just not.
I booked a reservation on a whim that it would be a good location for a date. However, upon entering was thoroughly surprised on the ambiance the restaurant carried. Eberly had the feel of cool vibe of a trendy New York restaurant but the charm of a old school Chicago steakhouse. The menu was easy to navigate and our server was amazing in that he was helpful but allowed us the have a great date with minimal interruption. We really enjoyed the take on the steak tartar and my scallops were the best I ever had, not to mention the banana pudding was deceiving in presentation but more that made up for in flavor. I could have ordered it 10 and not had enough. I was more than impressed and can't wait for my next chance to enjoy Eberly.
The food was fantastic! Love the atmosphere and of anything you need to get the mac-n-cheese!
Food quality and service was out of this world, made our special night even more special definately recommend we loved it
We visited on a Tuesday night, and the space is very large so it was easy to get a table. There were lots of large tables in spacious sections, overall very comfortable and not too dark. Cocktails were great, menu was creative, and everything we tasted was really good. Valet was nice to have, but was very backed up when we arrived and the line of cars spilled into the street which was difficult, but ended up fine.
Loved the food, service was good and restaurant is decorated very nice! We had scallops and halibut and they were excellent. The oysters were very tiny and you could barely even taste them so I would pass on those next time unless they are a different kind. The banana pudding dessert was to die for. Wine was great as well. We went at 5:00 so it was quite so I’d go later next time but we were starving. The price is high so it is probably more of a special occasion place but the food was great!
Had a great Sunday brunch here for my husband's birthday. The food was delicious and service was great. Eberly is so beautiful too - love how it is designed. Would highly recommend for brunch!
They are great with birthdays! Comped drink and personalized menus! Makes the event special!
Hush puppies were amazing, but our chewy over-cooked scallops and octopus ruined our meal. Service was great and the restaurant has a nice atmosphere but stay away from seafood.
Great service, food, drinks, and vibes. Will definitely be back
Always an exquisite meal and dining experience. Unsurpassed.
