What Insiders Are Saying
The food at Eberly isn't yet destination-worthy, but the place is worth stopping by for the people watching alone.
Beautiful restaurant ! I felt like I was on a fancy cruise in the 70s . The bar staff was amazing . Very good at what they do and the servers and runner were excellent. I want to go there everyday ! I loved every bite of the food . Compliments to the chef . The squash entree tasted like heaven . Thank you thank you !!!
Let me start by saying that Eberly is very beautiful place, with 20s-30s ambiance and somehow did not feel snobbish to me but quite relaxing. Table settings, bar, decoration and soft light is amazing. Although main dinning room seems very loud for having the dinner. I must say their food is very good but somehow dosent match upscale of the place. I notice walking by the kitchen that most of the cooks are very young people in their 20s and maybe this is a reason. I believe they can easily improve taste of the dishes by doing small changes. Form this kind of restaurant and prices($60 per person) dishes should taste like haven in the mouth.
We had 7 people for brunch. Our server was great. The pancakes were amazing and they recommended lots of wonderful dishes for us to share. Cocktails are a little pricey but we will all be back!
I thought the decor was beautiful! Unfortunately we were not seated under their gorgeous "greenhouse" seating area, which is for bigger groups. But nonetheless, the food was delicious and the overall ambience was very fun for brunch.
This was our first time going. The atmosphere is adorable. Place is so cute.
Service was amazing. Staff was attentive and food was quick. I can’t wait to go back
Everything was amazing
One of kind in Austin. Must go. Service, atmosphere, food, drinks really good. We will come back with friends.
We were seated early, which was a nice accommodation. Service was great, but some of the food was disappointing. The oysters were very small and just barely large enough to be considered an appetizer. I ordered the 8 oz fillet which was good, but the vegetables had an odd taste and smell. I had my partner take a taste and agreed. We then looked to desert to finish out, but really didn’t see anything appealing for $12. Rethink your menu for spring. You have work to do.
Had to flag down a server to get water after being seated for awhile. Our entree was not as hot as it should have been but our servers were very nice and attentive once we were attended to. Could have had a few improvements but we enjoyed it and will be back. Cool vibe and cute ambiance.
I had the shakshuka and my friend ordered the biscuits and gravy. Both were excellent. Service was friendly but not intrusive. My friend and I hadn't seen each other in some time, and staff let us linger without any pressure. They even let us sit in the bar after our reservation so we could visit. The restaurant itself is absolutely gorgeous, complete with an atrium for larger parties, a porch, and a bar with lots of comfy furniture. I highly recommend Eberly.
First time here. We sat at bar for drinks and deserts. The service was great. Ambiance perfect. I can’t stop talking about the bread pudding. It was divine.
Nick was an incredible server! We went for a special occasion and felt so welcomed and celebrated.
Everything was awesome. Got to try the crispy potatoes!
One of the reasons I go to this place is because of their amazing homemade pop tarts, last time I visited they took them off the menu! Please bring back the pop tarts!
Beautiful decor and great brunch menu. Highly recommend starting with the pastry sampler to share!
Complete waste of time and money. Overhyped. Mediocre food and poor service.
Overall a good dining experience. Ambiance and food are very good. Menu is misleading on cost of additional protein. Had issues with our service regarding billing.
The food was great, but the service was incredible. Our server shared the passion that he had for food from start to finish, and that was the cherry on top. Attention to detail is even placed in the architectural design of the restaurant with preservation and restoration of the old being accented by the new.
Great ambiance and excellent food. Great place for a date or small group, but also could see a rowdy, larger party enjoying Eberly as well.
Always great food, always a great dining experience. If you want a waiter who is going to be able to be as excited for your meal as you are, always ask for Adon. He is amazing and passionate.
Emily took amazing care of us! We loved our evening. Very special.
Wonderful location for a birthday dinner. First they customized the menu with "Happy Birthday Nicole". From there service and food was fantastic. Our waiter even surprised me at the end with a yummy birthday dessert. Cannot recommend this place enough.
Amazing food! The ambiance is outstanding. Great service and wonderful staff
From start to finish everything about this place was absolutely horrible(with the exception of our cocktails). The host had a horrible attitude and was extremely rude, as well as the so called “managers”. Our server however was very polite and courteous, poor girl was trying so hard to pick up everyone else’s slack around her. I’m not sure who’s cooking the food back in the kitchen or where they get their ingredients, but everything seemed extremely subpar. The crispy potatoes were served on a skillet with the aioli on the bottom of the skillet?? Then they brought us out two more “on the house”.... and one had the aioli on the side where the other was on the bottom.... definitely weird to me. Then to follow up, they served one of us a salmon with the skin side facing up, also reeked of an awful fishy smell. Another friend of mine was served a steak that had little to no pink in it whatsoever, when he ordered his steak medium, and the whole dish smelled bad. Total of 2/5 dishes got sent back. While only person at the table could actually bear to clear their plate. All in all I would never suggest anyone go here, unless you maybe want to get a drink, but that’s all I would recommend from here. Was really sad to have them ruin my birthday dinner they way they did.
Fun place. Met couple friends for dinner and had a great time. Looking forward to going back. Can’t wait. Thanks for a wonderful experience.
It was amazing our server was outstanding and they even put on our menus happy birthday at the top. What a cute little detail. The hostesses helped us find a table where my father could easily sit. The food was out of this world and I couldn’t have asked for a better way to spend a birthday dinner with my sister and fiancé and other family members. Thanks again Eberly.
I have been here for dinner and brunch. The food and service is on point. I can not wait to go back for another fabulous meal.
Really enjoyed the food. Went during brunch and their food was great!
My husband and I came for our anniversary and really enjoyed it. We started with the beef tartare and then I had the scallops and he had the smoked duck tagliatelle. He out ordered me. That tagliatelle was the best thing I’ve tasted in a long time! We had the sticky toffee pudding for dessert and it was pretty great too. The service was fantastic and they even brought us a champagne toast for our anniversary. Very cool interior design and happening place. Would definitely go back. I want to sit at that back bar and have a cocktail soon!
We thoroughly enjoyed our visit especially with precious Hannah caring for us so well. Unfortunately my brother was bothered by the loud laughter coming from the bar and made sure we all knew that. I’ll never invite him back there but my husband and I really enjoyed our dinner and cocktails later in the beautiful bar.
Our waitress, Emily, was very friendly and inviting...and that scone! Amazing! My favorite Austin brunch spot for sure!
We had the octopus which was just OK. Much better at many other places in town, including Laundrette, Juliet, Red Ash, and others. The smoked duck pasta was good. Just not good enough for us to come back.
The amazing thing is that we've driven by this place 500 times and not noticed it.....but it's better late than never. Food and service was excellent as were the cocktails. Atmosphere is contemporary yet cozy.
I’m underwhelmed with the food. The best thing we had was the free bread. I would go back to the bar side for a drink but I’ll never dine there again. It’s a shame because it is a beautiful restaurant.
It was ok.. to expensive for what you get. Great grill flavor. Beautiful building!!! Service was good but food came out cold and slow. Would try it again. Possibly just for drinks..
Only for an extremely celebratory dinner because of the price and the noise level are high.
Incredible food, cocktails, and especially service! Made for a great birthday dinner for my wife.
The interior was really nice. The food overpriced and barely average quality. $50 for a steak that is barely warm when brought out, and just average taste. Sides are okay. Desserts were good but small. Pretty disappointing.
