My wife and I recently had the pleasure of enjoying the 12 course tasting menu with thoughtfully selected wine pairings at Ebbe, and it was truly an extraordinary culinary experience from start to finish. As soon as we stepped inside, we were warmly greeted by the chef staff and instantly felt at ease in the beautiful, modern space. Each bite-sized course took our palates on a delightful adventure of flavors, textures, and aromas. Every dish was expertly prepared and creatively presented. The extremely knowledgeable chef staff gave insightful explanations on the history and inspiration behind each masterful course. We gained a deeper appreciation of the passion, care and artistry that went into composing the meal. What especially stood out was Ebbe's exceptional ability to combine unexpected ingredients and global influences into harmonious, inventive dishes that delighted our senses. Each thoughtfully crafted course was more delicious than the last. The service was also impeccable – the staff demonstrated extensive knowledge of the menu, provided spot-on recommendations, and ensured we had everything needed to optimize this special dining experience. To our surprise, we were seated right across famous actor John Cena and his wife. While keeping the focus on our meal, it was still interesting to be dining alongside a celebrity couple also enjoying their evening out. The night became even more memorable when, after the incredible meal, all of the chef staff kindly gathered to take pictures with us. We felt so honored and appreciative to get such personal acknowledgment from this incredibly talented team that had put immense effort into providing us a phenomenal dining experience. As if that wasn't enough, they presented us with a lovely parting gift containing signed menu copies and other thoughtful mementos that served as wonderful reminders of our wonderful evening at Ebbe. These personal touches exceeded our already high expectations;5 stars all around!

Food was very good. Trying hard to be Michelin-star level and pretty close, but for the high price, the flavors need to be elevated. The presentation is good and service too. The decor is terrible, like a converted conference room. Guessing it will continue to get better. They’ve only been open 6 months. With wine pairing, prepare to spend $750 per couple for 5 course meal. So it should be phenomenal, but it was just good.

Nathanial did a wonderful job. All servers are actually chefs so they have prepared all the food that day and have a wonderful knowledge of every course. The wine pairing was very good as 2 of the chefs have intimate knowledge of wines. Food was unique and spot on. Great experience.

This is by far the only real fine dining experience in Tampa and I am positive this will become a Michelin Star restaurant. My husband and I went with another couple and we had the five course option. We were served spectacular champagne and wine paired perfectly with each course. The presentation of the food was a piece of art and the taste of each course popped with incredible flavor. Chef Ebbe is a very humble and talented gentleman who takes time to interact with his customers. We cannot wait to return for the ten course option. Thank you for the most memorable dining experience in Tampa!!!

For a $1300 meal for 2 people (we got 11 course meal and full wine pairing) the experience was very much ok. The meal started very ok but after the bread (half way point) the wine and food got significantly better but the beginning apps and mineral dirt whites were not for my palette. Best parts were the desserts and wine at end. What made the experience weird was the service. Our chef acted pained to be serving us and the sommelier said he was going to bring us different wine and never did.. he was too busy flirting with other guests. Service experience would be the reason I would not return as it felt like we were second class citizens because we are not in the food industry or Swedish The chefs are the servers which is unique but might be better if they are not. Interesting experience but felt horrible leaving spent so much money for an ok experience.

Our (Wife and I) experience was beyond amazing. Chef Ebbe and his staff were very welcoming! At the time of writing this, the current layout has it we're there's a U shape seating arrangement where guests sit on the outside of the U and the service is on the inside of the U. Surprisingly, this did not affect the intimate experience that my wife and I were hoping for, instead it enhanced. We had the 5 course meal with the wine parings and each progression was explained and served to us be Chef Ebbe. This was our first time experiencing a meal prepared by a Michelin star chef and it was beyond our imagination.

Ebbe is, by far, the best fine dining experience in the Tampa Bay area. My husband and I travel worldwide to experience Michelin restaurants and now we have one right in our backyard. While Chef Vollmer missed out on his stars this year due to opening after the Michelin guide made their selections, I have no doubt they will recognize him next year!

We had an incredible dinner at Ebbe to celebrate our wedding anniversary! We selected the 5 course tasting menu with the wine pairings. It was a great experience and the food was incredible. The wines were very interesting and several I wouldn't have expected to pair. I would just note this is a VERY expensive meal. It was incredible but it is the most expensive meal I have every had.

Super well executed all around. Excellent, beautifully presented dishes in our 5-course option, which was perfect in amount. Classy atmosphere, well thought out and not too crowded - plenty of space. Ideal for a couple - the bar set up is less conducive for a larger group. I'd like to make it a monthly stop but it exceeds my budget for that frequency. Certainly will revisit on occasion.

We had my birthday dinner at Ebbe. If you’re looking for a spectacular dining experience, look no further, this is the place in Tampa. Their multicourse menu is a culinary masterpiece, offering an incredible selection of dishes that takes you to diverse tastes and preferences. The atmosphere is great and inviting. This restaurant, this concept, and this chef, are a hugely welcome and refreshing arrival to the Tampa food scene. Every course was meticulously curated and elegantly presented. They offer a non-alcohol option for pairings, with house made pressed and infused juices to accompany the tasting in lieu of wine. Far from being an afterthought, each beverage was delicately crafted and well paired with each course. I did the 5 course experience. I would love to return for the 11 course because this was a truly incredible.

This was an amazing experience in gastronomic delight. My tastebuds are still joyful from the exquisite menu and flavors that were so unique to our Tampa market. The Beetroot and the Turbot were just WOW along with the Lobster Saffron ravioli topped with sturgeon - these were amongst the most flavorful dishes I’ve ever tasted. The chefs are directly interacting with the clientele and make the dining night an absolute pleasure. Although we feasted on the 5 course with wine pairings, I am intrigued to go back for the 11 course. Tampa is so fortunate to have Chef Ebbe and his master class of culinary talents here for us to enjoy.

We were delighted to finally have the chance to dine here, and it did not disappoint. The chefs table arrangement was fun and engaging for diners and chef-servers. All courses, (5) this time, were delicious. I also enjoyed the wine pairings which were clearly designed well for pairing and chosen by the chef's sommelier in Europe. Neither of us is a quantity eater, but we both felt a bit hungry when we left and thought the portions were on the small side, especially the duck breast which was superb. I've eaten many fine dining, fixed priced meals and often felt there were too many courses and too much food. There is also an 11 course meal, but that sounded like way too much food, so we selected the 5 choice. Either they need to offer a 7 course choice, or kick up the servings a bit for the 5, for light eaters. They haven't been open long, so I am hopeful some tweaks will occur to provide a better sense of value for the pricing.

Ebbe was delightful. Exactly what Tampa needs. The restaurant is completely chef run, which gives its elevated food an approachable feel. Nathanial, our waiter/chef, was a true pleasure. He had an extensive knowledge of the food and wine. He also balanced interesting conversation with leaving us to our own discussion masterfully. The food itself was on par with restaurants in major cities and destinations like Eleven Madison in New York or Canlis in Seattle. It was innovative, tasty, and fancy. The amount served was perfect, we were full but not so stuffed that we were uncomfortable. The Éclair with morels and the beetroot dishes were particularly memorable. Although, I am continue having periodic fond flashback taste memories of the entire meal. We will be back.

Phenomenal! We went there on a whim and now it is one of our favorites along with one of the best meals we’ve ever had. The level of service, food quality and presentation are beyond amazing. We did the 11 course tasting which wowed us at every turn. The wine pairing is a must as it elevates the experience. The fact that they operate with only chefs who work together to prepare, cook, serve and even clean sets the tone of the level of detail of the dining experience. We were served by Chef Nate, who was engaging, knowledgeable and fun. This is a special place and it won’t stay Tampa’s best kept secret for long.
