Aw mhan! We had such a great time at Eatapas. If we didn’t have a show to go to, we woulda been there for 4 hours. The music was great! The dancer lady was amazing - i think I learned a few dance moves. The ambience was amaaaaxinnngg. We will be returning soon.
Food was excellent, service was average. Live entertainment is always a plus. Highly recommended!
Love the live music! Really makes the whole experience.
Can’t say enough great things about this place! Let’s just say we have been there 3 times in 3 weeks and no I am not related to the owners , lol. It’s great on all cylinders including the surprise entertainment that they have 7 days a week- flamenco and amazing Spanish guitarist covering all sorts of
music. There is something for everyone and they are such a treat to watch and hear.
Really no complaints about this place -super friendly staff, great service, great food and authentic, great ambiance-quaint and cozy, good cocktails, fair prices - this place can be as fun and or as romantic as you need it to be- your call. Def feels like you’re in Spain.
Oh and they even have a great happy hour to boot-go already! Enjoy!
Our first time. We had several appetizers, tapas and a great almond cake with vanilla ice cream
The waitress, Flavia, was very pleasant, professional and informative about the menu
We love food, and wine, all was perfect.
A wonderful place to dine with family and friends
Food is very good and so is the service, from the greeting at the host stand, all good, however, it is a family restaurant, surprised to see small kids on a Saturday night, left the restaurant around 11 pm, I thought maybe by 10 ish, lights would dim and more ambiance, but no. So, it is a good restaurant to eat with family, but on on "date night"
Wonderful as always.
Fantastic night with my family. Food and music great.
Birthday celebration! Great food and service! We asked to be seated away from the main dining area because of the noise.
Great tapas and service. Loved the dessert
Loved it! Amazing food and atmosphere! Can’t wait to go back.
The food was delicious the show was amazing and the service was great!
Great place. i am recommending it to many friends. The pistachio martinis are terrific. Antonio is a great bartender.
We were a party of 5, the music was so loud we could not hear the waitress or ourselves. We ordered 14 tapas, they all tasted the same. Food was mediocre at best. We shared a seafood paella, it was just okay, nothing to brag about. Not coming back.
We truly had a blast here. They have a really great intimate atmosphere. Perfect date spot or even just a casual place to hang with friends. Immediately upon arrival, we were greeted by the host who promptly escorted us to our table. On our way to our table, we had passed a small stage that was set up for live entertainment.
Our servers came over and explained the menu and the concept to us which is something that I really like. For our drinks, we ordered the Sangria which came highly recommended. You choose from red or white wine then Rene wheels over a rustic cart with several jars of cut-up fresh fruits. You get to choose the fruit that goes into the Sangria, truly customized Sangria. For tapas we ordered the Champinones al Ajillo, Garbanzo con Chistorra, Chorizos al Cava, Gambas al Ajillo, Pimientoes de Piquillo Rellenos and Patatas Bravas. I could not even begin to tell you the cornucopia of flavors that were unleashed onto my palate. As explained by the server the tapas come out as they are done and in no particular order.
For our entrée, we ordered the Marisco Paella for 3 that was really one of the better ones that I have had in a while. It was packed with seafood and is mixed and served tableside for added flair. I wish that I had more room to order dessert but as it was we were taking food home with us. I know that we will be back to Eatapas very soon.
I cannot say enough good things about this restaurant. The food, the ambience, the live music and the service are fantastic. We have been here a few times now, and Eatapas never disappoints!
Excellent experience. The ambiance was fun, the food tasty, the value excellent. Our server Manu was top notch. Will visit again. Keep it up Eatapas!!!
The ambiance is so fun of you are looking for a lively atmosphere. The tapas were amazing and a great value. The paella was on the wetter side, still good, but I prefer it the more traditional way. Definitely check the tapas case before you sit down to see their daily tapas selection. Our server, from Portugal ( I didn’t catch her name) was a gem. She was helpful, warm and intuitive. If we lived here, this would be a regular spot for us. The live music was entertaining and everyone seemed to be having a great time.
The music was tool loud and it was impossible to carry on a conversation
Don't know what took us so long to check out this place. It's a really good option especially when returning from a flight--right on Federal Hwy going North. Good Spanish food (tapas and paellas), very nice welcome and service, and even entertainment, not usually in plentiful supply in the Pompano area. Host was wonderful about adjusting the time of our reservation given a late flight arrival and the server was especially pleasant and accommodating. We will return.
Loved the variety of choices. And each dish was a different surprise! The chef is amazing! We sat on the "quiet" side of the restaurant. After a while, the music and the flamenco dancer came on - we didn't see it, but we definitely heard it.
Love it here!
Anyone that knows me knows what a big foodie I am. They also know that to me Portuguese cuisine blows the lid off of the Spaniards cooking (sorry to my wonderful Spaniard friends and neighbors) and so I prefer eating at Portuguese restaurants and rarely choose to eat at Spanish restaurants when I'm in the US. Regardless which type of Mediterranean restaurant I end up dining at I find the saffron rice used at most restaurants just isn't done right and is not very tasty. After doing some research in the area I was at tonight, I came across a Spanish/Mediterranean restaurant and read several amazing comments about this place and their specialty dish, paella. They have 6 different paella options. Just looking at the photos and comments I read I knew I had to try it! And I'm so glad I did. We opted for the seafood paella and opted to add 2 lobster tails, but not necessary as the seafood that comes in the paella (mussels, clams, calamari, shrimp, scallops) is plenty. Dare I say it's possibly the best I've ever had. Even the rice used tasted like the original one from Valencia, España. We also tried a few appetizers (pulpo al ajillo, almeja en vino y ajó, y patatas bravas) and to my surprise those were amazingly delicious! I highly recommend anyone in the Fort Lauderdale area to come to Eatapas and try their amazing seafood paella. Of course we had to enjoy this deliciousness with some red sangria which also did not disappoint. Oh and that creme brûlée is the first I've had that tasted as close to and (almost) as good as my mom's. The Gitano music with the flamenco dancers was an entertaining plus. I'll definitely be coming back for a repeat #weekendvibes #staycation #datenight #paelladoneright @eatapasfl
We love this restaurant - a dining gem
in every way - and the Alex For special event offered outstanding entertainment. For delicious, authentic Spanish food, great service, wonderful ambiance, and enjoyable flamenco music and dance, this is a “go to” place!
Fabulous food and service. Best Spanish food I have had outside of Spain.
Great food and atmosphere. Live entertainment was present and it was a nice touch. Noise level is a bit high and not optimal for casual conversation Truly recommend a visit.
Good variety on the menu, pleasant staff and great entertainment with the Flamenco dancer and guitarist
It was a very good service and excelente food
We had a 9pm reservation, we waited 30 minutes to be seated. By the time they seated us it was, the place was way too crowded, our table was missing a chair, it took 15 minutes for our waitress to greet us. The noise level was so loud you couldn’t even think. We left without eating because it was too uncomfortable to sit and have a nice dinning experience.
I made a reservation for 7:45 . We arrived early went to the bar. Text went off, went to the host stand to find out they gave our table away. 2 min from text til I got to the host . Waited 30 min the for a table.
The sever was fantastic. Started off with several Tapas starters. Very good ! Ordered the salmon main.
Salmon was INEDIBLE ! We told the sever who removed it from our check. No manager visit.
Overall the place has a fun vibe . The Tapas and drinks are very good the table service was fantastic.
The noise level was beyond loud. I will go back again, next time I will stick to the Tapas.
The food was really good, the service was great! And the music and performance was amazing! But I giving them 2 stars because we wanted finish to see the show but the owners or the GN came and told us that we have to get up and go to the bar (even with our 7 years old daughter) to see the rest of the show because the are waiting to sit another costumers and they did the same with others 2 tables! And we felt that a good restaurant doesn't treat costumers like that...
We really understand that they were full but it's not the way to do it!
Nice atmosphere, food is good but the place is too noisy for us, next time will
order take out
Excellent. The best food with the best live show, music, dance, people was extátic clapping and having fun. Very nice environment.
We have Been there several times.
Value for money :)
Awesome service and fun atmosphere!
Food was great
And the flamenco show was awesome 👏
This was our first time here… seamed a little overwhelmed with
Seating and reservations 7:45 reservation, were seated 7:55
I guess not to bad.. service and food was very good with the added surprise of live dancers… great evening will definitely be back…
Excellent place to entertain and be entertained. Love the music, food, ambience. Bringing more friends this weekend!
This was my second time at the restaurant. Unfortunately the service this time was not very good. Also the noise level is excessive!!! Not a return choice for me.
