Overall great, authentic italian. Highly recommend and will be returning for sure. Only negative opinion is the Wines are overpriced. Paying $18 for a glass of chianti was disappointing and not necessary. There are many DOCG wines out there that can be offered at a reasonable price.

This was my first experience to the Short Hills location. I've been to the NYC's locations. Just loved how Short Hills was set up. The food in the restaurant was so good. We enjoyed having lunch there. Can't wait to go back!

Overall was just good but service wasn’t the best and needs improvement despite coming at a quieter time. Had to wait for drinks and also ask for more once finished.

The pasta (Roman specialties) could be better, definitely not like the traditional ones. ThePizza was good. A little overprice but overall a good experience.

Overpriced, food mediocre, waiter was terrible and would disappear out into market/mall - he also added a bottle wine to the bill inexplicably (maybe was hoping I wouldn't notice?).

First, I have to say we had a great waiter. He was fun and attentive, however, that’s where the value stopped we were for ladies help for a special occasion, and we ordered the artichoke appetizer, and we asked the waiter how many pieces there were so we could share it and he told us there were four pieces. when it came, it was only three pieces so we asked him. if we could get a fourth piece of the artichoke. The manager came over to us and said NO because they weigh everything in the kitchen ahead of time instead of accommodating for one tiny piece of artichoke, the manager actually brought us the dish back with the three tiny pieces of artichoke on them. Very, very awful management, not accommodating at all, and the food is definitely over priced

Timing with cocktails and appetizers could have been better. It was slightly louder in our corner and it was hard for our waiter to hear so I didn’t get the burrata on my pomodoro but I believe it was an honest mistake because he couldn’t hear me due to overall noise level.

First time going to Eataly. Heard the raves and I knew it was going to be pricey but in the end felt ripped off. Overall, it’s a fun experience and the food is good but not for the prices they charge. Glad I had a reservation as they kind of require it even though they have plenty of open tables. When we ordered “just”water to drink, they brought us a bottle of Pellegrino for $8.00. Didn’t send it back but resented it. Food was very tasty but again, you pay top dollar and the portions are not that generous. A small zucchini side dish of vegetables $15. My bolognese dish was $34. Just not worth it. If I go back, maybe I’d do the pizza or gelato or Italian pastry (also overpriced, lol) but it looks like you can pick up at the counter and there’s seating. It’s a fun and special experience at the Short Hills Mall, but not something I’d go back to on a regular basis.
