Made a reservation for me and my husband on Sunday at 5pm to celebrate our 1st anniversary. On the app it asks if you are celebrating something and we did put “yes, 1st year anniversary”. We arrived there and someone directed us to our table. The place was messy, I was stepping, literally, on fish crackers the whole dinner. Also, our table wasn’t even set properly, we were missing things like the plate. We ordered the most expensive wine to celebrate our moment and ordered the mortadella with pistachio and fogazza. So here’s the thing, the fogazza tasted like old!!! It was 4 pieces with one slice of mortadella on too and something that did not taste like pistachio on top. Horrible. So we decided to go for a pasta. My husband had the carbonara and I had the bolognese. Not good. The sauce taste like the canned ones. Really sad because I thought they make everything in house. The waitress came to ask how it was and we kinda showed our disappointment, she wasn’t sure what to do or say so she left. Tables beside us with kids screaming. Later she came back with the dessert menu and we just decided to pay and leave. In no moment any of them mentioned that we were celebrating something, didn’t congratulate us. So why do you have the option to put that on the reservation if it won’t even be addressed??? We thought Eataly was a little better but it’s not. Very comparable to Eastside Marios lol Very bad experience for our 1st anniversary. We usually buy good steak from Eataly on their grocery section but they lost us as customers after this.

We like going to Eataly as the location is convenient, the restaurant is nice and the service has always been good. But we're always left just a little disappointed in the food. The salads are awesome but the pastas and pizzas come up short when it comes to flavour. And most disappointing, what's with the focaccia bread? No matter what time we've booked dinner, the focaccia is 'no longer available'. We've been given excuses like there must have been a lunchtime rush, we've even had a server roll their eyes when we ask. It can't be that hard to estimate the daily demand can it?

Great place for lunch or brunch on the weekend. The food is always great and made with fresh ingredients. The pizza is amazing and they offer bunny or heart pizzas for the kids which our daughter loves. Highly recommend!

Booked a table for lunch. Very nice atmosphere with plenty of space between tables. We chose the indoor dining room but they also had a patio. Server was very friendly, polite, attentive and cheerful. We had seafood linguine and tagliatelle with bolognese. Both were delicious! Portion was average but could have been a little bigger for the price.

Food is always great at Eatly our server Maria was very nice and was able to recommend food she enjoyed from the menu. I will say that they changed the menu and the calamari is no longer an appetizer which was disappointing.

Eataly standards differ according to location. Nestled in the suburban location at Sherway Gardens, hoping to have drink and a bite with a friend after a long day at work, my experience was less than ideal. Prosecco served in wine glasses, no scotch whiskey available on the menu unless asked with only 3 available, no brown sugar, toothpick size wooden stirrer for espresso, asked for a spoon. The only positive thing was that the manager Mike, walked over to hear our feedback and offered to take the prosecco and the coffee off the bill. The establishment needs improved!

From the moment we walked in at Eataly Ristorante at Sherway Gardens, everything about this restaurant was exceptional. The service was outstanding. Our server was knowledgeable and passionate about the menu. Every recommendation they made was spot-on. The food was exceptional. Each dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavour. From the appetizers to the desserts. We celebrated our little daughter's birthday, and she had a wonderful time. Whether you're celebrating something special or just want to treat yourself, this restaurant is a must-visit. We'll be coming back!

Sorry to say that the staff ( no fault of their own) need more training in restaurant service. Empty Appetizer plates remained on our table along with the mains. The pizza for my guest arrived at our table an uncomfortably long time before our mains. Frittura was a cheap shot, high price -certainly not fried fish paranza- it contained mostly coda di rospo and fried soggy zucchini, possibly a late arrival from Italy. Fine dining prices for cafeteria style experience.
