Careful thought and focused passion went into the aesthetics of the restaurant, which provides a 3,000 square foot floor plan, welcoming patio and communal hearth. The space is truly perfect for both large parties and quiet, intimate dinners.View Private Dining Details
Absolutely loved dinner! The food was delicious and the atmosphere is casual and and inviting!
Good food, lovely ambience, delicious food and good service.... what more can you ask for??
Very impressed with this neighborhood place. great atmosphere and food!
This is becoming my local favorite!
Easy going, nice crowd and friendly wait staff!
Salmon piccata is excellent! All items I have tried are very good!
Chicken Parmesan sandwich was ok, but not great. Ample portion. Was not expecting a pressed sandwich. Soup was very good. Fries good but too salty. Please let customer add the salt.
This restaurant was recommended by family friends that frequent it as a good dinner place for family that was in town. We had one person in our party with celiac disease who is very sensitive to gluten and they accommodated us perfectly. (The gluten-free pasta is Delish!) Very nice atmosphere, excellent service, delicious food. 5 stars!
We had a great evening here with friends - starting with the service which was extremely good. Our server was personable and knew the menu backwards & forwards. She gave us suggestions which played out perfectly. Our cocktails were great and our food was delicious. Plus the owner came by our table and sincerely engaged in a conversation with us. The whole experience was wonderful and we will definitely be back!!
We were greeted promptly and in a friendly manner. Mary Ann was attentive. The food was very good. The only downside was that the kitchen seemed quite noisy. I will return.
A great spot for dining. Finally, a real restaurant in this area!
7pm very empty. 5 tables out of 30+ were occupied. basic pasta and pizza dishes took 45 minutes to receive. water glasses were automatically refilled, hence never empty, however our asks for other items - silverware (asked 3 times) etc were not fulfilled. Check out took 20 minutes.
We gave this place a shot after seeing the decent reviews. Unfortunately the server was very slow and needed to be kept on top of and the food was mediocre and tended to be quite salty.
I really like this place to meet friends after work for a glass of wine and early dinner. Their quinoa salad is my go to favorite, along with their 9 ounce glass of wine. The help staff are great - good service and friendly.
Good waitress. Food quantity and quality good. Place could use a touch up. Good for casual dining.
Food and service was very good. I was surprised by the 100% mark-up on the wine prices.
My wife and I went for our first visit here. Everything we ordered was delicious. The restaurant was only half full for a late dinner and the ambience was nice and not too noisy. We shall return!
My husband and I really enjoyed our seafood pasta. Portions are large so we split our meal and had an appetizer. We were full. We enjoyed the music too. The singer was awesome.
Great food but they need work on service as last couple of visits were very slow especially with drinks.
We love Eataliano and come here often. Devon took great care of us—not only did he shake both our hands & introduce himself, we were also impressed to hear him rattle off a number of vegetarian recommendations to the couple at the table next to us. Food was delicious and service was efficient as usual, plus plenty of leftover calzone to take home.
Very enjoyable meal. Service was good and food were plentiful.
Our waitress was her Renda's! You could actually tell how much she hated us. Tan skin, curly dark hair, probably in her late 20s early 30s. It was a group of four of us, one couple and then a guy and a girl. When we asked her if she could separate the bill it seems like we really put her out. And so the two people who are not even a couple ended up having a very awkward exchange of him paying for her. She also didn't know how to time our food so we had to appetizers, Salads, and entrees on the very small table at the same time and it seemed again as if we put her out because there was too much food on our table. She also expected to stop our conversation each time she came over. Very Little thought put into her customer service. The drinks were delicious and the food was good but based on the customer service I don't think we will be back.
We had a party of 18 for a Saturday lunch following an Emory graduation. They took really good care of us! The appetizers were amazing (calamari, risotto meatballs, and bruschetta). My husband said his pizza was just ok. I had the chicken parm and it was pretty good, but not phenomenal. My MIL had the seafood linguini and said it was exceptional. The wait staff was great. They kept us happy!
THis is my 3rd time here. The food is always delicious and most of the time the service is great. The atmosphere is great and most of the options are resonable for lunch. This was the first time I went when the service was pretty bad. The waitress would be gone for long period of times and she messed up pretty much all of our orders. She apologized and we could work around but she was supposed to fix the checks and never did. It took so long to get our checks we just let it go. The place wasn't busy so I'm not sure what happened. I'll be back but maybe just dinner.
The food was lousy. The service was lousy. The price was lousy. No ambiance whatsoever. It was the worst $12 sandwich I've ever had. I saw our food sitting in the kitchen window for over 8 minutes before our server, Ashley (?), decided to pick it up. She was chatting with another server in the alcove near the restrooms then she went out to the patio, came back in, went to the kitchen, chatted a bit there, then FINALLY got our food. My roast beef au jus was cold, the fries were cold & flavorless. I will NEVER go back.
First time at EATaliano, and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Solid food, good service and modern atmosphere. You can tell a lot of thought went into the concept and details. Its hard to find a good family Italian restaurant in the city; this one is a keeper.
Food and service good. Live entertainment was just awful and INSANELY loud. Could hardly have a conversation. If I go again I will make sure the entertainer isn't there.
A great spot to have tasty Italian food, a drink made by the talented bartender, Stuart, and live music featuring Jenny (on Saturdays.)
Have eaten here twice in one week. Had the seafood pasta the first time and the margarita pizza and caprese salad the next. Ingredients are fresh and the attention to detail noticeable. We like sitting in the bar area and conversing with Stuart, the bar manager. He makes a delicious cocktail and the ingredients are fresh, not mixes. Try the pecan mint julip- you won't be disappointed. This will become our go to neighborhood spot.
Very pleasant new eatery with congenial prompts service and good menu with many choices
We just had the best experience at Eataliano. Chris was so attentive and pleasant and really made us feel like we could all be hanging out if he wasn't at work. So welcoming and kind and really made it a great experience for us even though it was just pizza night at our neighborhood spot. :) food was fresh and awesome like it was last time & can't wait to come back again soon!
I was honestly so impressed with this place— I've seen people gathering on the patio as I walk in and out of yoga next door, so I decided to finally stop by last night. We ordered a spinach salad and chicken calzone; both items were fresh, tasty and portions were generous. Pace of service was on point; we were in and out in under an hour and our server was friendly and attentive without being pushy or overbearing. There's a neat list of beers/wines/craft cocktails and a nice, spacious patio with a variety of seating options. Menu offers a number of categories (appetizers, salads, sandwiches, pizzas, Italian entrees, etc.) and multiple options within each of the categories. Excited to give it another try soon!
Nice atmosphere. Service sub par. I left my umbrella and it was "not there" the next day. It could be a much better place just think they have less than impressive staff
visiting from Philadelphia with my Decatur resident Aunt and Uncle began as search for convenient location, ample parking for an eatery but the newly renovated open concept room and decor brought us in to this very pleasant eating experience; the name and sign suggest more pedestrian fare but this kitchen is producing delicious food complimented by fine service.
Our server was very friendly. Unfortunately that meant sometimes he talked more than he listened so he got our order wrong. He apologized profusely and offered us free dessert. He was really nice about it so it all worked out. We had a good time and will go back sometime
