We enjoyed our experience but found it difficult to carry on a conversation between the 5 of us even though closely seated together. It was very loud and we all had to shout to carry on a conversation with two of us having a difficult time hearing at all.
Brisket was excellent. The seasoning/flavor on the fries was really good; even later when I ate some cold, lol. The atmosphere was loud, but not too overwhelming. It looked like they had some good weekly specials, and it would be a nice place to catch a game and have some beers with friends. Service was fast and courteous.
Sports bar with good BBQ. We loved the sausages and ribbs, the beer selection, and cocktails. The brisket and pulled pork were just okay. Anyway, Eastside Tavern is a good place for BBQ in a sports bar setting.
Went for a quick bite on a Sunday afternoon. Cool vibe, great upper deck outdoor patio. Great idea to rent upper deck for a party. Food was innovative and good. Must try the Frito pie.
BBQ was great. Brisket Cheddar tater tots we're greasy. Slaw was fresh and tangy.
We sat on the roof deck which was nice since the weather was beautiful. Nothing else was nice about this place. It took a long time for someone to take our drink order and then over 20 minutes to get our drinks. We ordered a Skinny Vodka and a Painkiller. Neither were great. When our queso came out it was cold and had a "skin" on it as if it has been sitting out for a long time. The rest of the food we ordered was unexceptional. The service as the worst part. I'm guessing our waitress was super hungover or she hates her job, but she was unfriendly, unhelpful, and slow.
Girls night out!
Food was delicious and the brunch drink specials were very good. Our server was friendly and attentive throughout the meal. They had great outdoor seating, but could use more umbrellas because it was very hot when we went.
Thirsty Goat on tap
Food always flavorful. Service was great. Good spot to eat, relax, and catch a football game.
We enjoyed the food, but it was extremely loud to the point that my ears hurt. I am used to loud sounds, but this made it difficult to carry out conversation and really enjoy our experience. The positive is that when our 16 month old let out a piercing scream, no one could hear it!
The rooftop patio was nice, the service and the food were not as great as I had expected, based on previous reviews. I would probably still go back to give another chance. Had the devil eggs, loaded baked potato, and patty melt. Requested no onions, but it was covered, and our waitress never came back to check on us until I had already taken the onions all off. The potato was ok, there wasn't that much meat on it.
Great service and great food! The drinks were amazing and portion sizes were good for the price.
Food was good overall. Appetizers and sides very good. Excellent cocktails. Service very so-so.
Pretty awful food all in all. Server was very nice. Beer selection was a bit over priced considering they are served in plastic cups. Would not go back or recommend at all.
Great find. The food was good and the place was fun. Will be going back.
I visited EastSide Tavern for our final dinner out while on my bachelorette and it was phenomenal! All of the food and drinks were fantastic as was the service. I would definitely return the next time I'm in Austin.
Good bbq, loved the loaded baked potato. The lovely server helped me with a hair-of-the-dog situation by recommending the perfect cocktail. Thank you!
Wonderful time! Great and knowledgeable staff--very friendly. Upstairs deck is a great place but unfortunately it started raining so we decided to move inside. Portions are a little smaller than expected for a BBQ place but flavor is on point!
