The food was good to excellent, but the overall experience was bizarre. We asked a number of questions about menu items, then ordered. We overheard another waitress telling other diners about specials for the evening and we asked our waitress why she hadn't told us about them. She said it was because we had interrupted her with our questions. Bad enough, but when she overheard us discussing this, she decided that it was appropriate to confront us about our conversation. She then stomped off and announced to the other workers that she was done with serving us. Another waitress stepped up and the manager did apologize, but we couldn't understand why someone in a service industry would think this was appropriate. We MAY go back at some point but we will walk out if that waitress is there. This is a tourist area. Don't they want return customers?

Small venue but wonderful surprise. Off-season with large party, but food and service was fantastic. Think mash-up of Korean, Japanese, Hawaiian and Californian cuisine. We ordered a lot of different small plates to share which worked wonderfully. Great flavors, ingredients and presentation. Look forward to visiting again.

Closed. That's what we found after making a reservation. Realize that it's the off season, but surprised to find the restaurant closed up tight when we arrived. Food is usually very good. Sorry we didn't get to enjoy it.

It is a really nice place. The crab fritters were excellent. My only two complaints: 1. Beer was over carbed. 2. I ordered the ramen. It looked spectacular, but it had zero taste...like they had focused so much on the fancy ingredients but forgot to add salt

We ate here twice in the span of a week. Fantastic brussel sprouts and firecracker green beans. The Eastside ramen was plentiful despite the size of the bowl and is a must for pork fans. Beer selection was on point.

This was our first visit to Eastside n we loved it. Combination Hawaiian n Asiasian food. The former Elizabeth's has been totally made over n is inviting. We'll be back on next visit to Outer Banks.

Very nice renovation and concept. Menu provides some welcome choices for the area and both bar and table areas are great places to hang for awhile
