   We didn’t even get inside. Not sure how to provide proper ratings. When we arrived for our reservation, we discovered it was closed - for the day? Forever? There was wrapping paper on the windows, lights off and mail was not collected. We got a reminder from OpenTable the day before. I emailed and I called (phone number not in service). Luckily we found another place to celebrate my husband’s birthday. This was disappointing though.

   This restaurant is in my neighbourhood which is a big plus for us. The food is very good, and the spot is super cute and low key. It is a work in progress... the only thing is that the music that was playing did not seem to go with the place, in our ears anyway. It was very faint, but we could hear that is was more like pop radio. Cheers!

   Great evening on a warm fall evening on the patio. Great cocktails and small plates to share. Very warm and friendly service. I would definitely return.

   Great spot and welcome addition to the east end. Lovely wine list, nice cocktails, light plates to share and friendly service. Looking forward to their planned pairing dinners etc

   The room is a white box, devoid of any humanity, I don't know how they will survive post patio season. There is no kitchen, also fine when serving light fair in the summer, but cold season is long and harsh in TO. Hands down the worst $15 cocktail I have ever had, couple that with zero ambiance and I will never again begrudge that price point in a nice room again. I'm not even sure it had alcohol, it was like stale dishwater. We had a selection of the menu, oysters, watermelon salad, octopus, tuna, charcuterie board. Given the absolute bare bones of this operation I was pleasantly surprised by the food, it was fresh, tasty, executed well, except for the meat board, which came last, with crackers? At the beginning of the meal, I might have been more forgiving, but low quality deli meat with grocery store crackers was just really an expensive failed attempt at jumping on that bandwagon. Had it come with some nice bread, I might have been more forgiving, but crackers just seemed like they couldn't be bothered. It was a pricey meal overall given the location, lack of atmosphere and my partner left hungry. I appreciate the courage of opening a restaurant in a pandemic and I love supporting local business, but this just seems like a half cocked idea rushed to fruition,

   We had an amazing night on the patio. Lovely cocktails (unique flavors, made with care and quality ingredients). Highlights include a fantastic lamb tartar (so perfectly seasoned, including the creative use of pickled asparagus), and the torched tuna (just kept on giving - the tapinade, the garnishes, the yogurt sauce....mmm) The wine list is excellent and very reasonable (plenty of unique houses domestic and international) The ambiance is really interesting, being on a rather quiet stretch of Danforth, there are lots of characters, but very real and cool at the same time. I suspect the side patio would be more secluded, but we enjoyed being on the street and watching the traffic and lights. Definitely will be back!
