Good food. Nice atmosphere.
This has become our new favorite place!
Amazing food, amazing service, amazing drinks, amazing ambiance, just amazing!!
Best service we’ve ever exper
Love this place. Only criticism would be that my Manhattan (up) was on the smaller side.
We were a party of 4. A family night out with the adult children. One of our family members had anaphylactic allergies to a series of foods and food ingredients. The staff was extremely diligent in handling her needs. It made the experience very relaxing and very comfortable. They went out of their way to accommodate her.
We greatly appreciated the staff at Eastern Standard. They made the evening great.
We won’t hesitate to go there again.
Always like this place! One of my brunch-to-go places and you can never get wrong. Though I was a bit disappointed to see there’s no oats or muesli for weekend brunch, beyond that, everything’s really good!
Oh my God the herb gnocchi with the Thursday rabbit dinner special needs to come in larger quantities. Also, that butterscotch bread pudding was just as amazing
We had a wonderful time and the staff was excellent in accommodating our needs as well as making it a memorable experience.
Service and food wonderful! Brunch was delicious and atmosphere was lively and fun.
Food was great. Our server Brooke was awesome and so accommodating to my nut allergy and answered so many of my questions. I had the salmon and it was delicious. My husband loved the baked rigatoni. Raw bar was great too. Fun place, great menu. We will definitely be back!
I love that they found and saved me two bottles of the Muga Rioja that they remembered I loved from before they took it off the menu! That’s great service!
Delicious food and we were seated right at a Hugh tip booth in the bar area like we had requested! Can’t wait to go back 😊
Great meal as usual. Our wait staff was very good.
Great vibe. Attention to detail was impeccable. Wait staff anticipated needs and wants in a timely fashion. Creative and Delicious Cocktails. Burger anything but “standard”. Bread Pudding was amazing to top it all off.
Great environment, great food! I totally recommend it!
Really great meal!
Great abiance and cocktails, but food was overpriced
Yummy food, great waiter and staff
Fun cozy atmosphere
Service was absolutely outstanding. Our waiter was extremely knowledgeable about the wine list and the menu, and extremely responsive to our needs. The food was quite good but not perfect. Lovely Wellfleet oysters. Foie gras appetizer served, inexplicably, on a very sweet highly flavored bread that overwhelmed the foie gras. Braised rabbit was excellent. My companion asked for a martini with a lemon twist which resulted in a martini with what we could only describe as a lemon bunion, a rather oddly shaped circle of lemon peel. My queen Christina cocktail, a bourbon concoction, was fine. Because the place has such an outstanding reputation for both food and cocktails, I was slightly disappointed, though I would have been pleased by the quality if my expectations weren’t so high.
Wine by the glass is excellent at Eastern Standard and the best dishes of the night were the raw oysters and the excellent foie gras; entrees (flank steak frites and monkfish) were just okay.
Always a very nice treat.Just a beautiful and great restaurant!!!
We LOVED it.
Service was good, food was ok, but it was a HUGE disappointment when were only allowed to order brunch at 1:30 pm on a Saturday. What??!! WHO SERVES BRUNCH ON SATURDAYS, or doesn't at least give you the optio of ordering from the lunch menu?! Bad move, Eastern Standard. Just wanted to use this opportunity to warn people who aren't aware of that. The lunch menu was what I had my heart set on (I brought out of town guests). Personally, I don't like breakfast food after 11:00 am. If it weren't for the fact that I was with visitors, I would have left and gone to another restaurant.
A very good brunch with a comprehensive menu. Not overly loud so possible to talk. Wouldn't have minded more attention from wait staff, but that's OK, they were busy.
Been here countless times before and will continue to come back 😊
The food was disappointing and the servers kept grabbing plates, wine glasses and items off the table before we were finished.
Great service. Very good food. Nice ambiance.
Weeknight dining. Smaller crowd—thus less noise and more attentive service. Food very good, as usual. Service excellent.
Eastern Standard remains one of my favorite restaurants in the country. I try to always make a visit when I’m in Boston. Consistent great quality food as well as a thoughtful wine list that offers fresh and new wines. Shout out to Justine who offered warm service on a freezing cold day.
Great food and atmosphere!
Arrived at 5:30 for a 6:00 pm reservation, was told table would be ready at 6:00, no big deal, grabbed a drink at the bar. Table was not ready until 6:30, very disappointing. They did buy our first round of drinks was nice, but then forgot to put in our appetizer order, can’t make this up. Was with a group of 4, we were heading to a show at the house of blues so timing was important. Been to Eastern Standard several times and this was our first sub standard experience.
It was nice the quality of the food was good not great!
The staff was nice,

William is a great server! He’s attentive and a pleasure.
Good place for a business lunch in Fenway. Food was good, not too loud or crowded. Comfortable and nice ambiance.
Very cool and European setting. Food is very consistent and service is great. Wish I went to Eastern Standard more often.
My third visit - each one better than the last. Food was incredible and the service is 10 on a scale of 5.
Eastern Standard has been my favorite restaurant in Boston for years. Whether the food, service, drinks, or ambiance, they never disappoint.
High quality stand-by with a variety of quality offerings.
