   My daughter and I went for Easter brunch. We were greeted promptly by the host who was very friendly. Our server (Leah?) then greeted us quickly to get our drink order and point us to the buffet. Sadly, that was the end of our promising visit. After getting our breakfast and taking a bite, my daughter and I looked at each other and giggled, the eggs were, in her words, gross. I don’t eat egg beaters, but if I did, I’d imagine that’s what they taste like. I’m a vegetarian and eggs are a large part of my protein intake, so I decided I’d ask for hot sauce. While waiting for my server to ask for said hot sauce, I tried the mac and cheese and potatoes. I was so confused, I could smell the sternos in the buffer room and hear the water underneath, but nothing was even close to hot. If I said the food was warm, I’d be too generous. Server never came, went to the bar to get hot sauce (I should add that at this point, there weren’t many tables in there, and the restaurant was staffed nicely) so that I could force myself to eat the eggs lol. My daughter pointed out the potatoes tasted like microwaved day-old French fries because of the texture and barely warm-she hit the nail on the head. We’d had enough of trying to force eating, so I went for a salad. The salad was delicious; fresh, good assortment of veggies in it, good dressing, bravo! At the same time, my daughter went to the carving station. They were very friendly and the prime rib looked perfect. While she didn’t love it, it’s because she isn’t familiar with it. I have only been a vegetarian about 10 years and used to love it. Our server checked on us finally at this point, friendly and smiling, but left the 2 plates we moved to the side of the table to go get the salad and meat. Sorry, that is such a pet peeve of mine. Huge. Small table now with 4 full size plates? No. I finally asked for my bill to move along with our day. Huge waste of my $100.

   Overall, the food and service is great. We've been here twice in the last two days and can't get over the gnats flying around though. It really kills your appetite when you spend half of your meal swatting away large gnats flying around food and drinks.

   The food was good quality, however, the menu listed in Open Table is not current for Brunch options. The drink menu that is listed on Open Table is available if you show the staff the drink specifically, but is not on the current printed menu you are given (no Mimosa or Bloody Mary options on the printed menu at all), and the food options are only 50% accurate on Open Table compared to what is available in the restaurant. We pointed this out to the waitress. Great beer selection on tap, but the Bloody Mary does not come with a chaser like other local Milwaukee locations.

   Love the new brunch menu. Perfect for before a matinee show. Server was stretched thin and forgot to check back for refills on beverages or other requests.

    The vibe was fun and service was good but food was inedible. Even the Caesar salad dressing was bad. I ordered it with salmon and it was not salmon, and was very fishy. My husband ordered the shrimp and grits - shrimp was mealy and the grits were mushy and tasteless. Go to watch a game or have a drink but don’t go for the food.
