   I booked this restaurant because my step-daughters were visiting for the weekend from Southampton. They requested we eat here because they had enjoyed their meal here last time they visited Pudsey. Although the food was very good, unfortunately, because of a very large party at the next table, the noise in the restaurant was unbearable. We asked for a quieter table but were told the restaurant was full. To add to this, a pianist was playing and, during normal noise levels, this would have been very pleasant. No attempt was made by any of the waiting staff or management to quieten the screams and loudness of this group in respect of the enjoyment of other diners. This is not acceptable. The ambience was reminiscent of a school canteen and we were relieved to finish eating and leave. For this reason, I will not be returning to East Restaurant as there are plenty of similar excellent restaurants in the Pudsey/Bradford area.

   Piano player was good if you could hear it. A party of 14 people spoilt it they were singing along to the music very loudly and no one from the management team asked them to stop so hence you couldn't hear your self talk. Spoilt the evening for us and we left the restaurant as soon as possible. Hence our first experience was not good. No apology what so ever from the management term.

   45 mins waiting for booked table . 30 mins waiting at bar and paying for drinks due to poor staff . Food was about 45 mins . Not everything turned up . Drinks didn't come properly . Staff arguing . Staff wearing in appropriate short skirts ..... won't be visiting again . Shame the food was nice .

   We enjoyed our meals which were very nice but not cheap, the only downside was my wife was quite unwell later in the night and her starter we think was the culprit which is a shame as the meal along with the piano player was enjoyed by the family.

   Came to East to celebrate my birthday. There were 6 of us in all. We had starters, which we waited some time for, which were all lovely although a couple could have been hotter (not the spicier hotter) and we mentioned this when the plates were collected and an apology of sorts was given. Again, we waited some considerable time before our main courses arrived and it was noticed that some people were served who arrived after us - I was about to ask where they were and they arrived The food was good, we all had different, and we all enjoyed them. The only thing was the family nan bread was a little greasy. All in all, the bill came to just over £150 including drinks - a good night but could have been a little better on the service side but it will not stop me going back.

   This was the first time at East after recommendations from friends and family, overall our first impressions of East were very good, The food was delicious the choice was good and the service was also very good and fairly quick with good staff that took care of you but weren't in your face every five minutes, I can only imagine on a weekend that the service may take longer due to its popularity but this would be a small price to pay for the experience. I must admit the pianist was a good addition to the night and he played a varied selection of music which was quite pleasant and created a relaxed atmosphere. Myself and my wife will enjoy going to East again as not only is it local for us but reasonably priced good food too.

   The service could be a little faster. The starters came out quick, yet we were waiting ages for the mains. Friendly and smiley staff.
