Some of the best seafood I've ever had!

My vegetarian quinoa entree was disappointing with only a couple of bites of carrots and no other veggies visible. still, it was pretty tasty in spite of its lack of veggies. Pleasant service and atmosphere.

Visiting Richmond for family wedding and the menu looked so good that we just had to try it out while here. Ate Rockfish and oysters- delicious!

Our server spent the entire meal with the 8-top next to us and we were largely ignored. Had to flag her down to order.

What a fabulous find in Carytown! The weather was perfect and the hostess seated us in a little nook that was inside the restaurant but right by the open windows so we got the best of both worlds. The cocktails were awesome, our server was fabulous and the FOOD! Oh my goodness, not enough superlatives to describe the deliciousness. I would highly recommend the PEI Mussels and ask for extra bread to sop up the broth; impeccable!!

The service was friendly and efficient — the recommendations were on point. But it was the menu and kitchen that won the night.

It was surprisingly loud during the dinner service but luckily we were loud enough to still chat with one another. The food was delicious! Salmon and scallops cooked perfectly and beautifully plated. The donuts were a good end to the meal.

We both ordered fish (Rockfish and Branzino). Each was cooked to perfection and nicely seasoned. Service was mostly attentive, and we enjoyed some extra attention on wine selection even though just ordering glasses. A lovely evening, would definitely return!

Our server was terrific--she was friendly, prompt without rushing us, and knowledgeable about food and drink menus. Cocktail selection was good--our party of four ordered four different drinks, but three out of four drinks were much too sweet. Upstairs dining was noisy. Oysters on half shell were great, but the rest of our food was average and not worth the price.

The food and service were really good. The burgers were very big and flavorful. Service was faster than we expected, especially for what we ordered. The honey with the meat and cheese tray was delicious! The portions of meat with the meat and cheese tray were somewhat small.

Great cocktails and food! Lots of seafood choices but other things too. Would be a great date venue and we were there for a birthday celebration and it was perfect! Outside seating was very comfortable. Our visit was made perfect by the service provided by Cole!

We had a group of 8 for brunch. The menu offered a wide range of options so everyone was happy. Prices were affordable and quality was great. There were some unique dishes as well as staples. No bottomless brunch special and it was kind of quiet for noon on a Sunday, but that could be just what you are looking for!

This was our first time after hearing some great reviews. We loved the seafood options (including the tasty whole branzino and varied sashimi). Recommended!

The grilled oysters were fabulous..but needed some bread to soak up the juices. Took far too long to have that added " at a cost" because they only came with mussels!!!

Overall the service was very slow and disappointing.

Always solid seafood performance! I'm addicted to the shaved pulpo small plate - can't visit ECP without having it. Service is always thoughtful, the menu changes up enough to keep things interesting, the oysters will keep me coming back. Love this place.

FIRST TIME HERE, THOUGH MY DAUGHTER WHO WAS JOINING US SAID IT WOULD BE GOOD. WE WERE EARLY DINERS (PRE-CONCERT) SO DIDN'T LINGER, BUT DIDN'T RUSH AND SERVICE WAS GREAT. THE MENU'S VARIETY WAS PERFECT FOR US, WITH ORDERS RANGING FROM AN APPETIZER AND SIDE FOR ONE MAIN DISH AND OTHERS ORDERING A SPECIAL ENTREE. WE WILL BE BACK!

This was our fist time ay East Coast. The food was delicious. The timing was off on how our food was delivered. No drinks yet when the salad and app was served. Dinner was presented before we were done with our first course. But the food was delicious. Outstanding.
The noise level was loud. Hard for a date night but I'd go back and request a quiet corner.

The oysters and cheese platter were great. My husband got the steak. The waitress didn't ask how he wanted it cooked, which was a bit odd. He's pretty particular about his steak, and while it was cooked to a medium, it didn't have a sear on the outside as great steaks should have. I had the mahi and while the flavors were great it was a bit dry from being slightly overcooked. I will say the flavor of the mahi made up for this. Overall, it was a decent meal but think I would only go back for the oysters and starter meals.

Apart from some loud people using inappropriate language upstairs in the back room, our experience was excellent. We had the crunchy rolls to start then some small plates. My husband loved the smoke salmon. The peanuts on my arugula salad were what made the salad extra special. Portion sizes and presentation were perfect. Thank you for a great date night!

We really had a great time at East Coast Provisions. Starting with happy hour raw oysters, the experience was awesome! Our group tried three different seafood mains: seared scallops, pan-fried rockfish and blackened mahi. All were excellent and were thoughtfully paired with great accompaniments. Based on our enjoyment of dinner, I recommend this restaurant without hesitation.

We were very disappointed with East Coast Provisions. They were out of a lot of the fish offerings (although it was Sunday night), and the broiled fish I was ab'e to get was dry and tasteless, as were the vegetables on the plate.

Was hard to judge the food because the three of us were sort of forced to order the same thin because the were out of fried oysters, cod, bransino, lobster, lava cake... it was an off night for them due to a very heavy weekend
