This is a lovely neighborhood spot with an interesting if simple menu. They smoke their own meats and make their own in-house donuts. Food was excellent, big portions. Service was very attentive. Kitchen is definitely a bit slow but worth the wait.

We had a very nice brunch at Early to Rise. Especially liked the shrimp and grits. Eggs Benedict was good although the food eggs were too firm. Loved the special donut! Good friendly service.

Absolutely loved Early to Rise! The donuts are a must order and thought the Banana's Foster Pancake was delicious! Solid breakfast plate but I'd likely try something a bit more complex. This place was super busy but the staff handle it pretty well.

Disliked the coffee, food was good but slow to the table. Service was good when they actually showed up. Waited about 10 minutes for the glass of water and another five to give the order and another wait for the unpleasant coffee. I don't mind waiting when a place is busy, but they had many wait staff. It wasn't one overworked waiter trying to do the whole room.

A great range of food to choose from. The Canadian bacon that came with the Benedict was really good. Shrimp and grits tastes nice. But the bagel for LOX sandwich was pretty hard to bite into.
