Never have I seen a deader Earls. More staff than guests at 6:30.

The service was fine, the food was good except the eggs for a little overdone (wanted them runny and they were more solid-state). But all in all a good moment.

Appetizer good (shrimp gyozas) Service good Dessert good(sticky toffee pudding ) 6 oz prime sirloin steak frites looked more like a 4 oz sirloin but was flavourful.Plate was absolutely overloaded with fries. Unfortunately the windows were filthy dirty which one wouldn’t expect in a restaurant that wants to be considered finer dining . There are other restaurants fortunately.

Food presentation was excellent. I had 6oz steak with wagu beef suchi. Steak was very chewy and I couldn’t eat it. Suchi was good. Sauce steak was in was very good. Normally a restaurant of Earl’s calibre would make an adjustment on the bill about the steak. That didn’t even suggest it. My wife had 2 lobster tails and was pleased. Server was adequate but I left 20% in spite of it.
