   Loud and warm, we were sweating inside. Our section was not that busy but the server is really hard to find, the food took a while to get there, the salad came in last and the shrimp on it is over cooked and rubbery. The dessert came in before the salad. The crispy shrimp roll is way overpriced for what it is, no wow effect, its just a simple looking roll with a tiny chopped shrimp on top, and its not even the whole shrimp, for $18. We spent over 2 hours in there for three appetizers, one salad and two dessert and five drinks.

   The host, bartender, and server (Tabatha) all made us feel like royalty since we were celebrating both a birthday and an anniversary! My burger was not made to order, they did make a chicken sandwich instead, but it took a long time and the rest of my party has already finished their meals. It wasn't even comped or discounted. The chicken was only half a piece, so there wasn't much meat on it. They did deliver fresh fries, so that was kind and the manager did also come to apologize as well. Overall, I would come back again and give them another chance as this was my first time here.

    I’ve visited this restaurant quite often over the past year and all my past experiences have been great. This last experience was horrible. The bathrooms were not clean (no toilet paper in the stalls and peed on toilet seats). After I left the host know that the bathroom needed maintenance, only one of the stalls was cleaned out. Also - there were several items on the menu that were out of stock including seaweed paper to make the sushi. How is this possible when they advertise Sunday’s as their special sushi day?? In addition, the restaurant seemed understaffed. Had to ask my server multiple times for basic needs like more napkins and water. The server was overall pleasant and was friendly but just wish he understood to supply water when it is empty. Earls Kitchen + Bar has always been one of my favorite and I would love to see this restaurant continue to succeed. Please advise on my feedback provided.

    Nice ambience, good service but food was very average. Could only eat half of my dessert as it was over cooked/microwaved and what should have been a sponge was rock solid. It also tasted more like a chocolate fondant that a sticky toffee pudding.. Was very disappointing and although they offered to cook me another, when I declined they only credited half the cost of the dessert, despite the whole thing being below satisfactory. Won’t be coming here again or recommending it.

    Went in for Mother's Day brunch and was seated right at our 2:45 time. No wait staff came for over 10 minutes. when it came time to order I ordered from the brunch menu (which is why I chose the restaurant) only to find that because the order was not taken before 3:00, my order was not available (...strike one). I ordered a hamburger in it's place, but when I received it, it was well done (I asked for medium) (... strike two). The manager took off my item from our bill and, along with my credit card, I handed the waitress my parking ticket for validation - Only to be informed that they no longer validated and stopped a few months prior (Strike three) LOTS of missed communications/ poor communications. One may be forgivable, but three times??? NO!!! (I was later informed by the manager that the waitress should have told me that Earl's does not cook burgers to temp.) Barring a miracle, I won't return

    My friends and I enjoyed a wonderful Mother’s Day Brunch here at Earls we started with the tastiest frozen drinks made with strawberries and lime . I had crispy shrimp sushi and raw oysters which were great ! The restaurant is beautiful! With lots of seating . Our food came out fast , fresh and yummy!

    The poke bowl was bland- the mango was not ripe and there was barely any ginger. The hibiscus Paloma tasted watered down. While the sever gave us immediate attention as we sat down, when we asked for a chance to look at the menu, she took 15 mins to return.

    An outstanding serve made our meal! My salad had way too much dressing and it was obvious. She noticed, offered to replace it and by that time I picked around it. She then without our asking took part of it off the bill which was a nice and appreciated gesture.

    Overall had a meh experience here. I planned a lunch here with my family because the menu had a variety of things for all of us with different dietary restrictions and I walked away feeling underwhelmed and with no need to return. The waiter was okay, I felt like he was trying to be really relatable and jokey and it was awkward for me. We were a table of 5 and it was kind of poor foresight to only drop off one carafe of water - we emptied it just by filling up each persons drinking glass. We ordered a couple of apps that came out pretty quickly, but we’re dropped off my another person with no plates, or additional napkins (and one of the apps was a handheld item), which was annoying. By the time our waiter showed back up, we didn’t bother asking for small plates, as we’re just eaten them off of the communal plates and made messes in our hands. Entrees seemed to take a really long time to come out, and 2/5 of us really liked them. I myself ordered the crab cakes, and I’m happy our waiter warned me about what was in them; I’d have been really annoyed if I’d gotten them expecting a typical crab cake (there was shrimp, corn, and some type of caper/bean/lentil in them). So, not a *ton* of crab. But they were cooked well and I enjoyed them, just wish for $40 I got more than a 1/4 cup of spring mix with them. Or some additional sauce for them, in a cup in the side. At the end of the meal, I felt goaded into ordering a dessert, as my parents had told the waiter it was my birthday. I declined more than once and again, it just came across as awkward and pushy to me. Even if the dessert was going to be free, I didn’t want it. Mostly because I didn’t want to wait 15-20 minutes for it to arrive. Overall, I wouldn’t return, or recommend this place to anyone.

    We went on a Sunday evening and the restaurant wasn’t busy. Despite this, the service was extremely poor. Our server was most attentive when getting payment information at the end but she couldn’t be bothered to refill the water pitcher, ask if we wanted additional drinks, and she wasn’t hardly on the floor for us to wave her down to ask for additional items. Even asking for desserts seemed like an ordeal she’d rather not endure. It was my first time there and I doubt I’ll be back.

    What happened to Earl's? This place used to be wonderful - but on this visit, many items on the menu were not available and the servers had no suggestions on replacements/alternates. The service was slow and ineffective. When we asked for sauce or water, we promptly got it - in 15 minutes! It wasn't just us, the table next to us had a collection of issues as well. I'll hesitate to go back.

    Of the five orders that were placed, the only food that came out hot was the children’s order of fries. The salmon was undercooked - as the waitress did not ask how it was preferred. The broccolini was undercooked and thus chewy and not easy to cut. We were charged an additional $3 each for extra sauce that came on the entree and would have expected some mention of it when it was requested. The waitress was super kind and friendly as was the manager on duty who checked on the guests frequently. 4/26/23

    Impeccable! Everything was great; the food, the service, the drinks, just overall an amazing experience. I will definitely be back. We went during the brunch happy hour, so next time I want to try their dinner items, they looked really good. We got the lobster and shrimp benedict. It was well made and tasty! Its more of an upscale casual spot, would be great for a weekday happy hour with friends.

    Maybe the brunch is good because I heard good things about it. However, the crab cake I had wasn’t good at all, they actually used peas. Also had sushi and that didn’t meet my standards. Overpriced and I probably wouldn’t go back there for dinner.

    This Resturant is set in a trendy part of northern Virginia. While the food was good, the choices could have been more numerous. The biggest shock was the prices. I had just returned from Paris and the prices here greatly exceeded what I paid for dinner in downtown Paris! Our server, Ethan, was so wonderful he saved our meal from the extravagant prices by being such a good waiter

    The food was tasty enough, but my club sandwich barely had any chicken, and only one slice of bacon per half. Bread was super greasy. Fries were very good. The price - $18+ - was beyond absurd. They don’t validate parking, so I had to pay nine dollars for the privilege of being ripped off. The bright side was our server, Tabitha. She was never far when we needed her, but not intrusive. Wish she’d work somewhere I plan to visit in future.
