Decided to try this place one more time after being disappointed a year ago because I frequented Earl’s before COVID, and it was great! Unfortunately, the happy hour deals have tanked and so has the brunch. The menu says to ask about their brunch happy hour. We asked, and was basically told the Irish coffee and mimosas were on happy hour, but no food. There’s no brunch menu to look at. Also, when we ordered Irish coffees a little past noon, we were told the happy hour ended. So, Earl’s opens at 11:00 and happy hour ends at noon. The struggle is real. We decided to ask for our check and go to Eddie V’s next door. Won’t be returning to Earl’s Kitchen.

Arrived 10 minutes early and was told we would have to wait. Went to the bar, hard to get and order in. My date sat at a small table to wait while I went to the bar to get the drinks. She was asked move. When we went back to the host station our table was ready in a quieter area near the kitchen and the rest of the night was delightful. Good service, good food quiet enough we could have a normal conversation. One other bad thing, we had to pay for parking.

Our server, David, was absolutely fantastic, as was every dish we ordered. The Angry Lettuce Wraps were phenomenal. The crab cake was scrumptious. My salmon on my salad was cooked to perfection. HOWEVER, the young man at the door we found to be dismissive and selective in his ability to seat us. We had a 5:30 reservation at a table top. Before we arrived, the manager from Gucci called over to ask if they could seat us at a table and he was told there would be no issue with getting one. So when we arrived, at 5:10, I asked if we could get seated at a Regular Table, and the young man said, "right away. ' Then I told him we had a table top reservation for 5:30. He then said it'll be 10 minutes. So I said, "OH, I thought you said right away," and he said, if it was a table top I could, but if it's a table, you'll have to give me 10 minutes. So we sat at the couch in front of him. as both of the people who walked in ahead of us were seated, without reservations. We ended up sitting there for 30 minutes and when I finally walked up, he says to one of the ladies, "can you seat them at..." He never acknowledged me when I walked up, he even confused the young lady because she started walking us outdoors, because he was planning to seat another walk-in until he saw me standing there. Everyone else that was a walk in and waiting before us, received text messages to come up and be seated, while he never asked or confirmed my number, and I believe that's one of the reasons we never got called, except that we were sitting right in front of his view to the couches. Ultimately, we had a wonderful dining experience. It was my husband's birthday and we normally go to Eddie Vs, but we wanted to switch it up. We're very happy we did, because the food was excellent. David, our server, was wonderful as well. The young man at the desk could be taught a little something about customer service.

First let me say if you go see if Natalie is working and ask to sit in her section. Talk about excellent service ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️five star from begin to end. She was super attentive but not too much and had a smile that made you feel welcome. Second, food was delicious. The steak I order was cooked excellently and the firies were the bomb. Great way to end the week and cannot wait to return. Hope to have Natalie and her pink hair Pom poms. Thanks for ending wonderful service.😀

As usual, the location, experience & service were fantastic. **The only constructive feedback would be related to our time at the bar. We sat and waited for our party and ordered two Manhattans were not made well, service wasn’t engaging (the bar did seem quite busy at the time). Appeared you could have used more staff behind the bar.

Our service was exceptional and the food was great. The waitress kept our table clean as she continued to deliver food and drinks. We had filets, sirloins, and ribeye and angry chicken they all were cooked as ordered and delicious. Each person in our party would go again!

It could have been better, but we had a reservation at 6:30p we waited a good 20minutes before someone came to our table to let us know that our waitress was busy and he will be the one talking our order. Our waiter was very nice and we certainly appreciate the gesture but where was the manager? How come he couldn't even come by to our table to apologize for the delay. The restaurant was half empty. The food was very good and while we appreciated our new waiter, we were expecting a manager to stop by an address the lengthy delay that we experienced.

I’ve visited Earl’s many times and have always been pleased. Unfortunately my visit Friday night was a little underwhelming. The service wasn’t that great and my truffle fries were really cold. I did t send them back because it was so hard to get the attention of the waitress. I was treating my friend who was visiting Earl’s for the first time and it was a little disappointing.

We went for my sisters birthday. We let them know ahead of time if they gave us a complementary delicious Keylime pie, and the manager was absolutely amazing so were the waiters the food was to die for overall had an amazing experience.

I was very disappointed in the food. The quality was very poor. My potatoes was old and burned. The salad was just a lettuce and few other old greens. I was very disappointed in the salad and the potatoes. I ordered the egg and the steak. The steak was just put on the bread and that’s it. It had no sauce or anything else to make it blend. I had to eat again after during brunch there. This was my second time going there. I will not be going for brunch there again. The brunch was expensive but the quality and tastes does not supersede a dinar. I was very disappointed.

Terrible food and service. Mealy, salty tuna was not seared and must have been defrosted much earlier and sat out. We sampled and when asked, let the floor manager know our dissatisfaction. She took it away and told us that she would “ have the chef taste it..” After that the server came back and checked that the manager had stopped by to rectify the situation. We said she took it away and have not seen her since. We finished our meal and paid the full check and tip based on full amount because it is not the server’s fault. The tuna tatami that was removed from the table was still on the check after the manager took it away. I went and found the manager and she said that she would credit it back but I needed to wait at the table. After 15 minutes without her returning, we left, and I let the hostess know about the situation and that I was writing this review. (shrimp cocktail and salad were ok-burgers were terrible and left also uneaten.) I loved Earl’s in Toronto- This was unacceptable!
