Great service ! Good food!
We enjoyed this outing
Such a different dining experience with social distancing - some may find it nice a quiet. I missed the hustle and bustle of staff and people enjoying the Earl experience
We were so happy to go back to the Tin palace to celebrate some family milestones but, honestly it was a little disappointing. The service was very friendly but, unacceptably slow: 50 minutes to receive appetizers, 90 before receiving all meals, and we had to get up without ordering a dessert to share in order to pay our bill because it was taking so long. The food tasted great but was lukewarm to cold, they brought one order with ingredients that were asked to be excluded (which they said they could easily accommodate) and one of us received the wrong order entirely. Despite all this, it was still so nice to finally get out and have a quiet meal together as a family. We're hoping the problems were all caused by staff adjusting to the new normal and we will return at some point again hoping that all the kinks have been worked out.
This was the first dining experience we have had in months. We were very comfortable with the new protocols and never once felt unsafe.
Very tasty food. Highly recommend Happy Hour deals - lots of variety. Friendly staff.
Everything felt very safe and clean, we weren't worried about anything when it came to cleanliness. Food was delicious and our waitress was very helpful and friendly. Glad to see Earls hasn’t changed in spirit even though they changed (for our safety) physically. Can’t wait to go back
Very good meal and great service
It was so nice to be back .one of our favorites in edm
Always love going to Earl's for their happy hour!
Not quite as good as usual . Orders were a bit mixed up and food didn’t taste quite as good as it usually does.
The table we asked for was available and excellent. Our server was beyond helpful. Every one seemed to like their food. We were impressed all around. It was my wife's birthday, and she received a complementary delicious desert. We will be back for sure. The only criticism I have is that the food is rarely hot, especially at brunches. However, when this is pointed out, they always fix the problem
Brunch is awesome and great value at happy hour
Service always great
Ambience is one of the best
Parking not a problem for Jasper Ave
While we right in downtown core, we cameto Earl's so we could have a business meeting without having to yell at each other. The restaurants downtown feel obliged to play loud music for reasons unknown to most humans.
Service and food were very good too.
Everything was quick, food was good service was awesome
Excellent brunch/affordable - Edmonton's unknown weekend secret - it is not available in Sherwood Park
Staff are super friendly and helpful, big menu with lots of choices and great happy hour prices. Will be coming back for sure
The food is great, a little more personalized service 😊
Lovely restaurant with good food and great service.
I’ve been going to earls forever years. And just like their wines they continue to get better with age. Great for a family dinner or night out with the girls and everything in between!!!!
The food was good, But the service was really bad. We've waited for 20 mins for us to get started. There was no line up, not a crowded day. So disappointed.
Used to come here all the time as a kid, so there’s some nostalgia. But it’s mostly been erased with recent visits. I made a reservation for 5 incl a high chair and a booster seat. Upon arrival we were shown to a low couch with a coffee table in the atrium. Ummm... for a group with two little kids? Clearly wasn’t going to work out. At this point half the restaurant is empty. Was offered a table but we would have to vacate in 40 mins (?). Remember — I had made a reservation. Clearly for a family with kids. After more waiting, one of the empty booths was approved for us to sit at. It took three hostesses a good 15 mins to sort us out (we were abandoned in the atrium for the first 5 mins by the first hostess before someone else came to usher us back to wait in the foyer). Once we were seated everything was... ok. Grapefruit Negroni was served in a dirty glass with lip marks on it but i was tired of being difficult... and ready for a drink ... so I just wiped it down and drank it. Food was pretty good.
Don’t get me wrong, I like earls, but something is not right at the tin palace these days.
Really slow service and one of us had to wait 20 minutes from everyone else to get our food
Great value for brunch happy hour but one of our meals came out quite cool. Server sent out a new one asap and it came out much better.
Service was bad, it took forever to us to get our orders taken and even to get a take out box. We waited a ridiculous amount of time from when we finished eating to when the server finally came to us to see how we were doing. We did intend to get dessert but because service was so slow we didn’t have time to as we had somewhere to go to after dinner. The restaurant was not busy enough to justify the poor service.
The hostesses were very friendly knowledgeable and professional. Pretty cute too.
I love earls because they have a really good vegetarian friendly menu which is why I gave this experience 3 stars. This time it was kind of loud because of a party in the middle of the restaurant and our server was just awful. She didn’t check on us to see if the meal was up to par, ask if we wanted dessert and I had to flag her down to get her to give us the cheque. I would have cut her some slack if the restaurant had been busy but it wasn’t that bad and she was only in charge of one row of tables.
Almost our whole party had our meals delivered to the table not warm. Taylor went above and beyond to rectify the situation. She was wonderful and truly a great manager. We will be back as we know we will receive great service and are hopeful this was a one time occurence! Thank you Taylor for your fabulous customer service.
Food was cold which was a surprise.
Amazing place to go for brunch! Great selection for food and drinks.
My food was undercooked so wasnt a great night. But server was very nice
Great value for the brunch happy hour! Had excellent service and ate a delicious meal. Really appreciate finding a new brunch gem in downtown! Cheers!
We had the scallop risotto which was delicious. Excellent service - a good start to our New Year's Eve
One of the few places I can eat on a restricted diet. When I ordered a non alcoholic drink that I didn't realise had sugar in it, they gave it to my companion and didn't charge for it. Pretty classy. And the Zen Salmon Bowl is delicious.
Charlotte took excellent care of us and everything was excellent.
Great food and ambiance, but our server didn’t seem to want to be there. Unfortunate that we also timed our dinner at the same time a function was happening. What is usually a quiet and calm environment was transformed into a pub like ambiance. Not the best from the norm. I would have sat in the lounge if that was what I was looking for when I made my reservation. I will return for the food and the sticky toffee pudding. You win this time, Earls.
Great food, great service, super price during brunch happy hour.
We had brunch at Earls for the very first time yesterday, a first time we truly appreciated. The food was excellent. My wife had the poached eggs on avocado with a wonderful salad. I had the country style breakfast. Eggs cooked perfectly (soft poach), tasty sausages and bacon. Really liked the bread. If the food exceeded our expectations, the very same can be said of the service provided mainly by Melissa and other servers whose name I can't. Very competent, friendly and attentive service. Your servers are a credit to your establishment. We will surely return, and soon!
Great service wonderful staff. We had a fun lunch. Thanks.
Everything was excellent
