Great service wonderful staff. We had a fun lunch. Thanks.
Everything was excellent
Felt very comfortable with a fairly large group getting what we expected-Good food and good service.
The management at this location is outstanding… How can I tell? Because the staff are incredible. The brunch happy hour promotion is excellent. When we arrived we were welcomed with a sample of Zinfandel... I don’t know if it gets any better than that! Right! The brunch food descriptions all sounded terrific it was very hard choose which breakfast to go with. However, there where some of the disappointment Comes from. I’ve traveled the world and lived in different cities in the states and southern fried chicken and waffles do not have Cajun / or any other strange spices on it period. It’s very clean basic fried chicken similar to what you get at KFC and the waffles are soft not hard. So in this case this cajun twist should be written up in the description on the menu. The other guest ordered the chorizo sausage mushroom hash. I think the general assumption is that you’re actually going to get a chorizo sausage but in this case you get one small piece of an inside of a sausage a crumble about the size of a thumb. And the potatoes, they do say they are crunchy but these are kind of next level hard like deep-fried maybe a few times? Other than that, like I mentioned the servers were excellent. The complementary ”timbit” was a great surprise and the place was a live with beautiful people, super well dressed, a wonderful vibe. I would absolutely come back and I would recommend it to other people. However, I would be selective in telling them what choices to make. The people who were surrounding me had the country breakfast which seemed to be a major winner and I would try the poached eggs, avocado with greens at a future visit. Will be returning for Jazz / wine night on Tuesday.
Exceptional beginning to end. We were not rushed and thououghly enjoyed the dining experience. Will recommend this eastery to others without hesitation.
We enjoyed our dinner very much. Although I had made reservations indicating that it was a birthday celebration this was not noted.
It's always a pleasure to have lunch at Earls, but there were two things that spoiled my enjoyment at my most recent visit: 1) The Roast Cauliflower and Chicken Salad was a good choice but the roast cauliflower was not roasted and the surprise Brussels sprouts were completely raw, cut in half and presented as part of an otherwise lovely salad; 2) The server didn't measure up to the usual Earls standards.
Everything was perfect from start to finish.
Dinner out to celebrate Birthday. Casual dining; good ambience
Everything was perfect, but I think our server didn’t like us. We all got the feeling that she would rather wait on anyone else. Too bad, because the rest of the experience was good, but something like that will make you feel like everything was wrong.
We were greeted by a friendly young lady, seated immediately, and approached soon after by a lovely server who served us in a professional and calm and competent manner. Our food came out as ordered, and we thoroughly enjoyed our dinner.
Kassandra was amazing. She deserves special recognition! She recognized my mom’s dementia and was able navigate the struggle as we tried to celebrate her birthday.
Fabulous Sunday brunch. Great food at a great price!
We had the Avocado Super Brunch and it was so delicious! And only $7 during Brunch Happy Hour. Great service and good coffee. A great experience!
Always love Earl's. Can't beat the burger and fries as a treat.
Friendly staff, great food, good location....parking should be complimentary
Overall a very good experience
Started regrettably with my daughter and I taken to a deep dark corner of the restaurant
With a reservation I think you could have done better its summer people!
We asked to be seated closer to the window area and WERE accommodated
I guess I need to specify with a future reservation
Otherwise a positive dinner
This turned out to be a very enjoyable ladies’/cousins’ brunch. The atmosphere and service were perfect. We were pleasantly surprised by the Brunch Happy Hour pricing and will definitely come again. Thank-you so much!
You have to pay to park now, there are better places that don't.
Everything came out perfectly. Our server is naturally gifted.....knows when and how to approach and has just the right amount of professional friendliness. We had a great experience
Service was a bit slow. But overall the menu has good variety and food is always prepared well. Parking has also been expanded since I was last here. Overall a good mainstream choice of restaurant.
Always a pleasure to dine at Earls Tin Palace, downtown Edmonton. Their salmon never fails - moist and delicious. Our server was attentive and pleasant. They never rush you, so it's a great place to meet friends you haven't seen in a long time. Thank you!
Great location, friendly staff, good
Poor rating (and tip) as there were pieces of lettuce that should NOT have been in the salad. Gross brown and wilted (rotting) pieces. Commented on in both at my table who ordered salad. And then both who ordered a dessert that was supposed to have peanuts had no peanuts in them. Our server was less than personable. He seemed unaware of what was happening with our food problems and did not ask. Not up to what we typically experience at this Earls. It was disappointing.
6 friends met for lunch after some 35 years! Quiet corner and ambiance were great for re-connecting, and our server was wonderful. Most opted for soup or salad, except for one who had gluten sensitivity. The chowder was great and the gluten-free pizza was relished. Will be back.
Amazing price for good food during brunch happy hour.
We had fun!!!!! We have in the past had issues with food mixups and it’s put a real damper on our evening, but this night was PERFECT!!!!
Kudos to all the management staff that came to check on us, and to our server who gave us impeccable service. 10 out of 10!!!!!!
Friends told me the next day that the servers looked mad and annoyed.
Great place to grab lunch, it's not the fastest but it's always tasty and a great atmosphere with lots of space for bigger groups. I will definitely be going back soon.
Food was great !
Burnt burger and slow on drink referrals. Other meals were ok but the burger was awful.
The service was not good. Our server did not look happy at all. He also did not put his tray down to poor water which made him look rediculous. The food was ok. Our potato salad came out cold and the chicken was warm. The other 2 orders were good. The Bellini was sweater that usual. I had to ask for my drink to be refilled when he could have refilled it the times he was at our table as my cup sat empty for a long time. I was disappointed and most likely won't be returning to this location for lunch/dinner/late night. Hopefully, brunch isn't this disappointing.
Server was new and struggled a bit - No harm
The food (Steak and appies) was ok.
Great place to celebrate a special occasion. Have to go back on another nice day to enjoy their large patio.
Best patio in the city! Our favorite place for brunch!!
Enjoyed but coffee at $3.90 negated savings from happy hour. All in all ok but not worth the $20 plus it would have been if it wasn’t happy hour
The staff was excellent and the restaurant allowed us to make a reservation for 12 on a Saturday evening, where other locations would not..thank you!
The service here was horrendous.
Sat for for 30mins before drinks were brought & had to ask repeatedly for device that should have just come with dinning at a restaurant.
It was the afternoon on a Sunday, the restaurant was dead. But the server still couldn't get it together.
We loved the round table of 7 - great location and made everyone feel we valued.
We love the food and the servers and everything about Earls.
