it was yummy and the wait staff was very attentive...it's just pricey for what we ordered so we rarely would go
The new location looks amazing! Always a great time
Hello Hurk! We really appreciate you for taking the time to leave us a pleasing review. We are excited to host for you again!
Awesome service from our waiter Coby!
Thanks so much!
It was difficult to find as the address provided by OpenTable did not take us to the correction area. Once we were there the service was good and so was the ambiance!
Hi Allie! Thank you for taking the time to give us this feedback. I'm so sorry it took you longer to find us here at Station Square, feel free to call us((604) 432-7329) and we are more than happy to personally direct you here. Looking forward to hosting you again! have a great day.
The steak was over cooked, I asked for medium cooked, the steak that I had was welldone cooked.
The whole station square area was a bit confusing. I punched in the address on my gps but it couldn’t find the location. I parked by Best Buy and I had to call the restaurant for directions and all they could tell me was it was right beside Cactus Club which was close by from where I was. Service was good, food was good. A tad too much construction going on so the noise level was annoying. I am sure once the area is all built up it will be a lovely place to go and eat with a friend. .
In the past 3 visits to your new location, have found the young staff extremely friendly and accommodating. They in turn have stated it's a great place to work. Have been regulars at your former location (& Broadway) after our walk around Central Park, then dynamite rolls & wine. Glad to see you put the d.r. back on the appy menu.
there is no one serving us after we sit down on our table of four. We wait for 20 minutes seeing 4 waitress talking to each other and walking around without asking us what we want, we even do not receive our first glass of water or no one dare to look at us even though we look at them many times. The ladies just avoid eye contacts with us. May be they are afraid of serving Chinese? This is no good in professionalism.
Party of 11 crammed into a small place . Appy came I grabbed the plates so that we could start eating. Slow service to get our drinks and our meals
Love the renovations. Feels very modern and cozy versus pretentious. Food and service was great!
Would like the music level to be lower as we wanted to talk. Hard to hear each other.
We really liked the new decor and the new non-alcoholic drinks specially the pomegranate one. The salmon tho was very dry and too salty. Left the salmon untouched and only had my salad with yam fries.
We visited the new Earls location at Metrotown. We’ve walked by this location several times. It looks modern and lively with a nice patio so we wanted to give it a try. Esthetically, it is an upgrade from their now closed location on Kingsway.
Staff from what I saw is made up exclusively of young attractive females (which is fine by me) with not a lot of experience. The food I found to be subpar. I had the spinach dip and Cajun chicken. The dip looked very processed and had the look that it came out of a bag or a jar. The chicken dish was overly salty and much more fattening than I had envisioned.
I didn’t finish the food. That said, I don’t know if this place is about the food. It’s a good location. Looks nice with a decent ambience. Also I had never tried these two dishes. Next time I will go with the safer bet of the burger.
the potato and the bacon cooked brown and burned, lack of flavor, they don't look and taste good, like leftover from yesterday, also no salt or pepper on the table, so did not finish the potato on the dish, however the eggs are tasty, wouldn't go back for brunch again, thanks
Happy hour on a Saturday night. The hostesses were very friendly. Food was great and service was good. I would definitely come again.
Overall was pretty good, the service was excellent and the atmosphere was nice, except the table was too small for 6 of us. I didn’t made my reservation at the last mins. I made my reservation 2days earlier online, some how the hostess put us at the 4 ppl table. All we felt was crowded and every time when the food came we need to arrange the table to sort out the space for the server to put down the meal. Hopefully we will get a bigger table next time.😉
Went during Happy Hour Tuesday afternoon.
The drinks and half price wine were great.
The chicken tacos and the avocado cheese bread dip were yummy. The ribs had little meat and a bit too dry. The cauliflower was tasty and spicy but portion size too small. Service was great. Good to go after work with coworkers for a snack and drink.
The bill added up quickly. $120 for 4 people.
We arrived in the nick of Happy hour almost being over, our waitress was great! Full filling our drink and food order in minutes and coming back for intros! Great atmosphere and food was fresh. We will be back
drinks were watery f
For high school reunion we haven’t seen each other for about 20 years
I am a frequent Earls customer and have been to the old Metrotown one for many years in addition to the Lougheed location. Love the new location, great underground parking, brightness and the patio. You got everything going for your place and it seems you've hired a lot of new staff who enjoy their jobs and conversing with customers. I've noticed service is definitely improved - hope you can keep this up beyond your opening "honeymoon" period. Brunch menu is awesome and very well priced - can't beat this. Will love to see some competing specials when you friend Cactus Club opens next door. Keep up the great work!
Main dish's, appetizers, drink's and the server's was spectacular
Service was very good and the food was delicious too!
Love this new location inside and out. Staff seems happy to be there and they don't make you feel rushed to eat and go.
Lovely open space with plenty of attentive staff. Food was excellent. A little too noisy for a business lunch.
Wonderful experience. I got there a bit early with special birthday cupcakes, and I asked our waitress if she could keep them in the back. When it was time to bring it out, she placed it on a nice place with a candle! Our waitress was very accommodating, friendly, and energetic! Our food was also very good! Full of flavour, large portions and pretty presentation. ❤️
Food is great so as the servers.
I will definitely come back.
Noise level very high. Always order steak frites. Fries cold and steak very tough which is usually not the case.
First time at new location.
Only recommendation is in the design of the wall - we sat in a booth and those ridiculous wooden slats for the background already had food stuck in the crevices and this is a new restaurant.
Not a good functional design - designer should be aware of this.
Server lady was very friendly and answered a recipe request
Lucky to get a table! I booked with open table which I had done before, very convenient, the problem with the reservation was that I had booked a table with a note to be in the bar area and when I arrived the hostess said I don’t see a note about that? But do see it’s for a birthday and didn’t bother to ask who’s birthday it was? She said I have two tables left at 3:45 in the afternoon, all the other tables in the bar area had reserved signed on them, lucky for us. The disappointing part of the experience is that we came because it was my birthday and it was not acknowledged by anybody only after it was mentioned, you would think the hostess would have told the waitress? So I guess not sure why open table would give you the option to mention it and then the restaurant not acknowledged it? Kind of wast of time, like I said Lucky To Get A Table! Might just call restaurant next time
Very pleased with decor. Friendly staff that aimed to please. Would return again!
It was my birthday, I left a note requesting patio as well as saying it was my birthday. I am sure they did not see any of the requests as I was seated indoors (which I do not like as we like to enjoy in a quite quiet environment) The service was good untill I added an order of coconut shrimps and had to cancel it 35 minutes after as it never came.
I love this place but I did not have a good experience on my birthday.
The services need to attend to their tables a little bit more often. I had to constantly ask another server to grab my server. And the food wise was either to salty or to bland.
Their new place is cute and all but it’s only good for drinks and appys
Earls station square service is amazing! The hostess and our server was excellent!
Service was great. First time at the restaurant and not disappointed at all
Service not great . We had reservations but took awhile to get seated . When we were seated , no one came for drinks but we watched 3 servers set a table . Lots of workers walking around. Service was just ok after that.
We asked to split the bill and it came out with all different, uneven amounts and when we asked for the original bill to split it ourselves, he said the system didn’t let him. And we were overcharged for our tacos.
Everything was perfect!! Had some lovely family time !
