I went there for a special occasion a father daughter date. I wanted everything to be perfect and it was except the one tiny detail where they reversed the steak. I was expecting a rare steak and a medium rare for my daughter (who loves it that way) but they cooked it the other way round. Other than that, a beautiful day spent with my daughter made special by the serving staff. Thank You

Great restaurant, main course and appetizer were delicious. Desserts were decent, but could use a bit of improvement. The sticky toffee cake is far from sticky, it's quite dry now. It used to be one of our favorites, but has evolved over the years and needs to be more moist and have more sauce to make it taste better. Same with the holiday seasonal gingerbread cake. Ambiance is great, glad we made reservations because it was very busy!

The wife and I celebrated her birthday and decided to do it during happy hour. Great food/drinks at a great price. Environment and ambiance was perfect for the room. Service was also great, would definitely go back for another Happy Hour celebration.

First time at the new location at south centre mall. Beautiful inside, loved the patio too! Service was excellent and food exceptional . Will be back for sure!

Great food, great service, nice atmosphere. I see what they are doing though. Shortening the menu, increasing the prices and a new location and they figure they are on par with the high end restaurants. Not quite, it’ll always be Earls, but you will get consistent good food and service. Just hope your next sat next to the lady with the screeching voice and laugh because it is close and loud. That’s why it’ll never be top notch.

The restaurant was full, but the service was fast, food was well presented, hot and tasty and the serving staff were very accommodating when we had to change our booking at the last minute.

I did not like our seating. I made a res a couple weeks ago-4 older ladies. We were seated at a table when u first come in so we had cold air from the patio door and newcomers frequently walking by. I noticed another group with kids that were put at a bad table too. I get that but we are not going to make noise and a commotion. I have noticed that at other restaurants too-young attractive people get better seating. However, food was good and the waitress was great. She did not hurry us and was always friendly. I had asparagus and they did not cut off the top ends. I will be back but likely not with the 3 other ladies.

The new restaurant is very nice! Our server, Spencer was fabulous. The need for more options for people with celiac needs to be better. Perhaps two fryers in the kitchen might be an option?

We both had steak. Both done to our liking mine medium well and my husbands rare. Husband added crab cake which he enjoyed but would have liked it a bit hotter. Excellent service and nice ambiance, although the noise level was quite high. Altogether a nice experience. 🤩

We frequented the Earl’s on Willow Park drive a lot. We were anxious to try the new location at South Centre. The food was hot and delicious and came quickly. The Servers were friendly as usual! As per other comments about this new location, it was rather chilly and we were sitting inside (not on the heated and mostly enclosed patio). My husband was even shivering and he’s never cold! Many others commented about the loud level of the music. I suspect they’ve turned it down a bit because we were able to converse, but it was still honestly way too loud. It was always too loud at the previous location too. People going out to eat are trying to visit! If you have somebody older or hard of hearing, it’s really hard. Please turn the heat up and the music down and this Earl’s will be excellent!!

We had a party of 6 last night on December 2nd. Steaks and appetizers were very good! New place, very well built and decorated for a long time. Will come back with joy!

I found the temperature a bit on the chilly side - that would be my only negative. And make sure to make a reservation on a Friday night - it was busy!!

Nice place for business lunch. Small salad and added grilled chicken was perfect. Could have been a bit faster service being it was a lunch hour. We were an hour and a half.

We had an outstanding evening out to celebrate my mom’s birthday. The service was great, very friendly, prompt. The ladies at the front as well as our waitress (I apologize for forgetting her name) went out of their way to wish my mom a happy birthday. The food was served hot and we had a great evening. BTW my mom loves Earls, whenever we invite her for a nice evening out and ask her to choose, she ALWAYS chooses Earls.

Friend and I sat at the bar in the evening at 6pm. It was busy. As it died down, we had to ask for drinks and refills throughout the night. The less busy it was, the harder it was to get service. The only time we got any drinks or service was when we flagged someone down to order, or when our food was dropped off by a runner and we ordered something from them. We didn't want water and pushed out waters, utensils, and menus toward the bar but they never took them and just left a pile of stuff. About 8pm, staff was cut and then they'd go and sit, eat, and drinking in the booths behind us. The staff still working would huddle around the booth chatting constantly, and then we got NO service. Managers were even hanging out, walking behind the bar, filling their own drinks, and walking back to the booth even though we were trying to get their attention. The bartenders completely forgot we were even there. Service SUCKED!

The noise level is through the roof. Why do you insist on having thumping “music” playing in the background when the restaurant is full to the brim? Three of the four in my group said they would not return. The food and service were very good (except for an overcooked pizza) but we could barely have a conversation because of the noise.

The food and service at this location is consistently great. Our food and server were both amazing this time. Even though it was busy, our food came out in a reasonable time. One of our party members said his steak was perfection, and all of our orders came out exactly as ordered. The only piece of constructive feedback I have is that it was a bit annoying to get checked in twice, 10 feet apart. The girl right inside the entrance checked us in and told us we could go into join our other party members, but another girl at the greater desk inside made me stop and check in again

The new location is nicely appointed and fresh. Very much on point with other locations but nicely updated. Our server was lovely and checked in at appropriate intervals. We were seated adjacent to the kitchen, despite having reservations—not an ideal location as other servers were constantly walking past our small table for two and the sound from the kitchen was quite distracting. We only shared appies and I had a cocktail but still, after tip my individual bill was approaching $50 and that was without an entree. Being a retiree on sa pension, I can’t do that often. Still, I recommend this Earls and I’ll be back. When you book, request a table away from the kitchen, unless that’s your jam. Enjoy!

Our food was delicious and our server, Emily, was superb! We had a guest who had to eat gluten free and Emily was able to answer her queries about the menu. Overall, a fabulous experience and we’ll certainly be back!

Perfect spot to celebrate a birthday! Earls South centre made our 76 year old birthday celebrant feel extra special, with a personalized card and birthday dessert. Food was amazing and you can tell it was because we all finished our plates, even the kids! We will be back for sure! Also, this new location is beautiful!
