   The gals at the front were great and seated us right away. It had been about 10 minutes as my husband and I noticed a manager at the bar chatting with the bartenders servers. One of the servers noticed me looking at them. At this point they all kind of shuffled and still no body to even offer us water. I went back to the front and asked about it. At this point the manager was near the patio door looking at a computer when she went to tell them about us …. He looked directly at me and said nothing. No apology, no acknowledgement. Few moments later a server finally brought us some water and took our order. The service was so bad that we will think long and hard before visiting this location again. It wasn’t even busy except the few full tables on the patio and the rooftop wasn’t open. Very disappointing!

   Service and food is consistently good value ; however today, the restaurant was so cold that we didn't stay for coffee and dessert after our meal.

   We were a group of 10, celebrating a birthday before seeing the Lion King. The staff was great in ensuring that the meal moved along smoothly so we could reach the show in time. With a few seniors in the group, the noise level was a bit high, but the ambience was friendly. Food was good and we all had a good time.

   We enjoyed our experience at Earl's. The food was very good and reasonably priced. The service was excellent. The ambience was great although it was quiet since we were there mid afternoon on a Monday. We were a party of four and everyone said they would come back to Earl's again. Notwithstanding, downtown traffic.

There’s a special charm to our mellow Monday afternoons; perfect for a relaxed lunch without the usual King West hustle. While downtown traffic unfortunately seems here to stay, our host team is ready and understanding if guests drop us a line to say they are on the way.    Had an amazing experience here last Saturday. The hostess was great and our server Andrew was fantastic. Great food and the happy hour drink specials were awesome, we live nearby so will definitely be back !

    I've always loved Earl's restaurants. Last night we were celebrating my daughter's birthday and I was disappointed in both the portion sizes, our steak presentation and the broccoli as the side vegetable. The steaks were served just warm (I believe they had been sitting for awhile as we waited a long time to get them), portions were not regular a 6 oz. portion and 9 oz. portions like we had expected and to which we've received at other restaurants. They were much more like a 4 oz. size and 6 oz. sizes respectively, and they did not come medium rare as we had ordered, therefore making them tougher to chew. The broccoli was overbaked, scrawny looking, and also hard to chew. The garlic puree that covered the broccoli was really delicious but it did not compensate for the tough and chewy broccoli (again portion size was cheap). The caesar salad was delicious. Your caesar dressing is probably one of the best I've tasted, and the best part of the meal. The restaurant is beautiful and your staff are lovely, however your food portions and baking times need more attention. Thank you.
