    The happy hour menu has been substantially decreased. We wanted the seafood tower but it is no longer on the happy hour menu. Neither is the spicy noodle salad that i had before. We ended up having the steak frites which was tiny and mine was overcooked. The focus of the HH menu is now on drinks and no longer has many good food offerings. As well the wine is way more expensive than in the pastWe will not be going back for happy hour any more which is a shame as we used to really enjoy it.

    The same shot that I pay $5.50 for in Calgary was $11. It's not that it's just more expensive, it's unreasonable and pricing like that directly affect what I will order in future visits. Everything else was good.

    Earls has never disappointed (except when they revamp the menu and leave off my favourite dish) and this visit was no exception. I had the Truffle Butter Steak and my companion had the Cajun Chicken Alfredo. It was ½ price bottle of wine night (Wednesdays) and The Hatch Pinot Grigio/Chardonnay blend was lovely. The service was attentive without being intrusive, and the whole evening catching up with a friend was very enjoyable. The only caveat I have (and this is also consistent) is that the music was loud enough to make talking more work than it needed to be. This doesn't keep me from arranging to meet friends at Earls for dinner, so clearly it's just an annoyance rather than a deterrent.

    Came in for birthday brunch with my girlfriend. Great food and drinks, and an amazing view from the patio.
