The staff was really nice. The set-up of the restaurant is really nice, until you stop and notice the details. The open kitchen is absolutely filthy- I sat at the bar watching over the kitchen and immediately decided not to get anything raw. The raw food (veggies & fish) was being handled by people wearing gloves that they never changed and touched every surface in the area. Basically the gloves are protecting their hands not the food. I wanted to leave when I noticed how dirty the glasses were at my place setting. The waitress was very nice and accommodating when I mentioned the glasses & remained really attentive and throughout my meal. So I guess I stayed due to exhaustion & having such a warm staff. Also, it had been a long day and I was dining alone and didnt want to make a fuss.

Since I was closest to the grill, I reasoned that if my food was handled well, I would be OK eating it. The cook, who was also so nice, ended up dropping the tongs on the floor at one point and just hanging them back onto the grill. He also repeatedly wiped his gloved hands on his apron, but I noticed this after I got my food. I also received a cocktail that was delicious, but was garnished with a mint leaf that was well past its prime.

The food I received I thought had been handled OK, based on what I could see from my seat. Despite all these red flags, the food actually tasted really good. My steak was cooked perfectly. Its now 2 days later, and if feel fine, meaning I didnt get sick from any contaminants.

I feel like this restaurant can do so much better. Its in a great location & seems popular. It also a very nice looking restaurant. If I was to base my review on just food and service, I would have been happy. But the open kitchen exposed too many flaws, and I had to force myself to stay and ignore a lot of its red flags.

Came here with two friends for brunch during the brunch happy hour. Service was very good and the food was okay. All three of us had the eggs benedict. The crispy potatoes that came with it were not very crispy and had a little too much rosemary for my liking. All of the food was just luke warm but the taste was very good! I would definitely recommend if you are looking for a deal because it is very hard to find a cheap brunch meal and everything during happy hour is $8! Also love the decorations inside!

Earl's has a great location, great seating setup (including terrace area), great food, great servers and a great management team. They continue to exceed my expectations. I have tried at least 10 different items on their menu, and have never been disappointed. The ribs are great, the sushi is great, the burgers are great, etc. - you can't go wrong!

The food was good. The scene is vibrant and loud, typical for a city restaurant. The service on the other had was awful. We were seated promptly and our waiter came over within minutes to take our drink order and that is where the good service ended and the last time we saw our server. It took a solid 15 minutes for the drinks to come to our table, which were delivered to us by another server. We waited 20 minutes and then we finally asked another server to take our order, he was very pleasant and apologized and took our order. In the midst of taking our order our original server came to the table and asked if the new server was taking over and we said we just wanted someone to take our order. After this transpired our original server came back and said they were in the middle of changing shifts and introduced us to our new server. Our third server was very lovely, yet we didn't understand the change of shifts at 5:30pm. During our meal we looked over and saw our original server sitting at another table talking with someone, so we weren't sure what the deal was but it was just weird. When we left there were several people at the hostess stand and not one of them told us to enjoy are evening nor did they thank us for dining with them.

The Happy Hour brunch is a great value. They also offer a drink special and when I went it was $5 mimosas. You can have a brunch entree and a drink for $13.00. The plates of food are big and tasty. Really good deal!

We’ve dined at Assembly Row a lot but this was our first experience at the Prudential Location. The decor is incredible and the staff friendly but there was a lot that didn’t go right. Half the food came out stone cold as if it was sitting for a while, drinks were rare as was finding the server, and the kids options weren’t too great. The manager was lovely and tried to make things right but there seemed to be an overall shortage of staff and this made things less than ideal. We still love Earls but will maybe head back to Assembly in future where things are more reliable.

Disappointing. My wife went for a lunch there a few weeks ago. She said it was terrific so we took some friends there for dinner. Food was poor, cold and old. Food delivery took a very long time. Server Heather was delightful and we. reflected that in her tip. But it will be a while before i give it a second chance.

Disappointed that the restaurant was out of salmon - this was a prominent feature on their menu and one of the reasons that we went there. Then they were out of my second choice- mussels. Just to clarify, we were there early - 5:15. So, it’s not like it ran out. This really limited the dinner options. I eventually ordered the kung pao chicken which was ok - similar to take out - very heavy on the sauce. On a positive note, the waitress was great as was the atmosphere and drinks.

Great cocktails and service. The food was delicious, and the scene was vibrant. Definitely would recommend going with friends for a night out. The patio outside is a huge plus. Great place to get dinner with friends or just meet up for cocktails. Great location in Back Bay!

General inattentive service. Made us keep dirty silverware.

An ahi tuna salad entree I was having for the second time was very different from first time—had sriracha on it, which is not in the menu description. Waitress argued with me that they don’t have to list every item—sriracha is a pretty important ingredient not to mention when the description said soy vinaigrette.

Great special month drink - Paloma ... loved the quinoa power bowl salad I added chicken and my friend had it with salmon. The cheese dip Ruth chorizo was a big hit ( ask for extra chips! You will need them). Another friend had fish tacos and he simply adored them and my husband had some delicious pork ribs- he substituted the mashed potato’s with fries ; he does like cole slaw but he ate the one that came sign the ribs!

The food was very good and the ambiance is great, but it was difficult to get a waitress when we need drink refills (water and wine both) and I think it is a bit overpriced, but not wildly. Nice spot and I hear seasonally that the roof deck is great.

Some friends and I went for their happy hour brunch. Overall meal was good but the service was a step below mediocre; our server, as well as our friends' server kept forgetting orders and by the time we got our plates two ppl's orders were already cold as well as mine. I ordered the chicken and waffles and although the presentation was lovely I noted that I did not even get a full waffle only 3/4 (3 out of 4 segments were placed on a rectangular plate w/ 3 small pieces of chicken pieces on it). Cocktails were very good and would definitely go back for drinks.

The food and drinks are really good. I’ve been there twice and gotten the standard mojito both times. The first time I tried the wings as an app and the chicken tacos as a main dish. Both were pretty good, I definitely recommend subbing the regular fries for truffle fries, though. The service was excellent the first time. The second time I went, it was definitely slower service, though the food came pretty quickly. I got the California chicken burger and it was AMAZING. The ambiance is cool and trendy and definitely fun for a night our
