Krista was an excellent server, quick service, amazing value- under $10 for brunch. Earl’s takes severe allergens very seriously, no sicknesses from my gluten free meal.
food was amazing & servers were so nice :)
would def recommend
Waitress was amazing and patio area is huge
Excellent food but rather noisy. Our server was very good and attentive.
I have come here numerous times and our server was the worst I have had in years. I ordered a tequila soda with lime, he brings over a tequila shot. I kindly ask for a tequila soda and not the shot, instead he brings over a soda water. The bill comes over and he charges us for the shot plus $5 for a soda water. Asked him to take off the water and it was just too much of an ordeal.
I was super disappointed in my experience last night. My friend and I were super excited as we had heard such great things about Earls. But after seating us, we didn’t see our waiter again for over thirty minutes. We had to wave down another server to see where ours went but he had no clue so he took over. It took an additional thirty minutes to get food but when we finally got it, it was the wrong food. Then it was another thirty minutes to get our correct food. We were seated at 8 and didn’t receive our correct food until around 9:20. While the servers apologized for the inconvenience, not a single thing was comped. I was a server and hostess so I totally understand how busy and hectic a restaurant can get but this felt totally ridiculous.
Earls has the best vibe. The food and specialty drinks are amazing and the service is phenomenal. The rooftop patio is so pretty. Definitely will be returning!
When we were looking for a place to celebrate our daughter's graduation, we stumbled across Earls, and I'm so glad we did. We opted to sit on the rooftop patio, which offered the feel of a resort with its lighting, trees and couch seating. It was a hot day, with little breeze to provide relief, but the atmosphere more than made up for it.
Our waiter, Michael, introduced us to the Earls brand and made some menu recommendations for our first experience. One of our dining companions has a number of allergies, and Michael and the floor manager worked closely with us to make sure that his meal would be free of any off-limit ingredients.
I had the Black Tea Peach Sour, which was perfectly balanced and particularly refreshing given the weather. For appetizers, we tried the crab cakes and truffle fries. I really enjoyed the blend of ingredients in the crab cakes, which I believe included corn and red pepper, along with the refreshing fennel slaw and creamy remoulade. The truffle fries were also a big hit. For the main course, I went for the sirloin and lobster tail. The steak was prepared medium rare, as requested, and served with a peppercorn sauce. A serving of deliciously creamy mashed potatoes, topped with toasted parmesan, and asparagus accompanied it.
At one point during our meal I asked Michael about one of the drinks someone ordered at another table, which was the Watermelon Slush. To our surprise he brought us a small glass of it at the end of our meal to try. This, along with all their work to accommodate the dietary restrictions and continually check in on us, demonstrated the superior service that Earls offers. It's not a cheap meal, but you don't mind spending the money when the food and service is of this quality.
The California Burger was just as good as our server, Peter, said. Quite a challenge to eat it, but worth every bite! My daughter proclaimed the Bloody Marys the best she ever had & everyone was very happy with their meals. We enjoyed the lively vibe on the patio & had terrific service from Peter, he even remembered how to sign his name in ASL!
Earls always delivers the best experience. It’s not the absolute best food. But it still is quality. You come here for vibes and because they take care of you.
First time here and I absolutely loved it! I loved the vibe and the food & drinks were outstanding. Had to ask for my server a few times but I understand it was busy so no biggie.
Came here tonight to celebrate my husbands birthday. I put a lot of time into finding the best restaurants in Boston and gave this one a go since it’s also right across the street from where we are staying at The Colonnade. In my reservations I noted “Birthday” and requested a booth. We were sat outside at a flimsy high boy. We went back in and inquired about a table change. We were told, “Yes, I do see your request here, whoops, it’s been a busy night”. Understood. We sat and went to scan the menu. It wouldn’t come up. We tried multiple times. The waiter asked if he could take my phone and scan the code himself at another table since he was sure the graphic on the tables work. Nope, still didn’t work. Took a while for an actual paper menu to come. As for our waiter, he vanished after that. After quite some time (15 min or so), a manager noticed and came and took our cocktail and appetizer order. We appreciated her noticing, and she got our cocktails out to us right away. As for the appetizer, it arrived at the same time our food did (and wasn’t hot). I asked for extra dressing for my salad (my main course) - it never showed up. My husband asked for additional rice (because the portion was kid size), which he had to wait way too long for while his food got cold. Our waiter did tell my husband “Happy Birthday” as did the hostess who sat us, so the restaurant was aware we were celebrating something special, yet no special dessert acknowledgement at the end of our lackluster dinner. Sure, if we wanted dessert we could have just ordered it (but how long would that have taken to come out?). Right as we were paying our bill a special dessert came out with sparklers and I grabbed my phone to take a picture of it being presented to my husband...except it was given to the table in front of us. I’m glad THEIR special day wasn’t overlooked. As for us, we paid a hefty bill for a dinner that was a total bust all around.
“Outdoor” dining area is great. You feel outside but protected from elements.
Highly recommend the truffle fries.
other guests were so loud outside we couldn’t even hear eachother talk at our table. first time it was too loud.
The covered patio upstairs is stunning and has a great dining environment. Food was incredible. Unfortunately the hostess downstairs forgot to seat us until 20 minutes after our reservation, but service upstairs was okay.
All good good service friendly staff clean facilities
our waitress was the cutest, and my daughter had an amazing time with joy, celebrating her milestone "COLLEGE GRAD" thank you!!! Earls has been great to me, if on a date, or taking one of my 3 children out.. we always have a good time.. great food!! tx
Great food, i ordered the Chilean sea bass and was great!
Our server Antonio was amazing and very attentive to our needs. The food was delicious and their outdoor patio was a beautiful space! We had a wonderful time.
The Cajun soon Mother of Earth Bowl is Amazeballz!
Had a late reservation, and ordered all our food upfront but still felt a bit rushed— food and drinks were subpar and our waitress was really nice but kind of abandoned us. Overall not the best dining experience for a late reservation.
Our waiter it was not very knowledgeable about the vegan menu. In general service was pretty hectic and it was really difficult to get attention from any of the staff in spite of them having to servers per table. Food was pretty mediocre we ordered zen tofu bowl And a tofu roll which was really on the dry side and rice was overcooked. Overall this place is suitable if you are craving an exotic ambience. But in general I will never return to that place. In addition they didn’t even mention that it was my birthday and totally skipped that part although we noted that.
Rodrigo (sorry if I spelled it wrong!) was amazing and still took good care of us even though he had been on his feet all day, he was wicked swamped, and he was so friendly
Wonderful outside space with roof. Menu is extensive and many items under 25.00.
I took my boyfriend for his 31st birthday and it was wonderful - our server was awesome and the food was delicious!
I got the ahi tuna poke bowl and the tuna was soy sauced to hell and there was too much dressing on the salad. It would have been very tasty otherwise, so it was a shame. The wine cost a lot more than the cocktails, but I guess that's normal. I just didn't see the price on the menu. Also, my friend asked if I wanted to try her salad, and the chicken was really dry. This was a lunch reservation if that makes a difference for feedback. The patio was gorgeous.
Love this restaurant
Service was top notch all around on a beautiful hot day ! Windy but worth it !
Took my wife for quick birthday lunch mid work week and was amazing. Sushi rolls A+. Antonio or server was A+ too! We’ll be back!
The tables are really old / not taken care of them... they didnt have bottled still water
What they call Patio seating or "outdoor dining" is not outdoors. Other than that, everything was good.
Beautiful drinks/meals and a very vibey waiter. Couldnt complain whatsoever and will 1000% be back!
Really like this place, especially when the monthly drink is a good one! Average prices for Boston restaurants with yummy and interesting appetizer ideas!
I recommend the Tokyo cosmo and the wonton chips are to die for!
So awesome! The food was great and the drinks were cute and delicious. Our waitress was the sweetest too :)
Great Sunday Brunch!!
haven’t stopped thinking about the yuzu crab roll since I had it last weekend
Celebrating a graduation!
Logan did such a great job
Fun setting for graduation celebration lunch!
Amazing food, great service, great atmosphere whether inside or outside. A little pricey but it’s great all around!
