I love Earls!!
The food and service is outstanding :)
If you’re in the Copley area stop by.
It is always a good spot for a lunch break
Great food, drinks and environment.
Drinks were good but really pricey. We had two sushi rolls, both good but got them during the happy hour pricing, otherwise each roll would have been about $16. One was a spicy tuna roll... would never pay $16 for something as basic as that.
Atmosphere was cool. The service was subpar. We waited 15minutes before a server came to greet us after being seated. It wasn’t even our server then, it was the busser who brought us water. It wasn’t busy at all so not sure why there was a hold up. Also, I had an empty glass and o it waiter just meanders on by without checking in for refill. For the cost of this place I have higher service expectations.
I was a server a few years ago and I know that there can be hold ups outside their control but from my observations, it just seemed like the waiter didn’t even care to be there.
Food was amazing , the the hospitality is on a whole different level . Truly a great place to dine . I had the lobster and shrimp ravioli, cook to perfection.
The food was excellent but there were staff members who were so rude that it ruined part of the dining experience. My friend and I made 2 separate reservations for my friend group of 8 on open table. We wrote a note asking to be seated near each other. We also called before to ask if this was possible and we were told yes, if there is enough room. When the 8 of us walked into the restaurant, the first hostess didn’t even say hello. she asked for the name of the reservation and immediately rolled her eyes as she said “you guys cannot sit together”. First of all, we had not asked, and second of all, her tone made us feel nwelcome and uncomfortable. I proceeded by telling her we were two separate reservations and would be sitting at 2 separate tables of 4 (their max is 6) and she said that’s fine but we will have to seat you on opposite sides of the patio. Extremely confused about why she said that, I asked “excuse me, what if there are tables near each other?”She said “Since you guys are a group and are friends, we will sit you far apart so because of covid”. Not only did this not really make much sense, but her condescending tone made this so unpleasant. She allowed us to walk up the flight of stairs to enter the restaurant and as we were walking, she said something about us into her walkie talkie. Watch out for the black curly haired lady at the front of the restaurant. After going upstairs they had us say our reservation again and we were treated with much more respect, however, they told us that since we were all friends, they have to sit us on opposite sides because they don’t want us going from table to table and that is their rule with covid. Pretty dumb rule if you asked me, however, it was explained much more nicely. When we were seated on opposite sides, it was pretty annoying because there were open tables right next to each table. This is not the place to go with big group because they are most definitely not accommodating. Otherwise had great food.
We enjoyed the food and service at Earls !
We will definitely go back !
Excellent food and service! Highly recommend for a celebratory dinner or simply a great meal.
Birthday with a someone
Appreciated having access to outdoor dining. Our service was excellent. The food looked great but tasted ok.
Had a fantastic time celebrating at Earl's. Will definitely be back!
And our server was the best ever
Lovely out door seating. Food and drinks were great.
Great service. We ordered drinks and plates to share. The chipotle calamari is delicious!
Michael was the best!
Great, friendly staff, yummy cocktails, good food! It was so nice to be eating in a restaurant again! Good job sanitizing and marking tables cleaned!
our reservation was at 2:00pm, but did not sit down till 2:32. this was frustrating because we had to make to a 3:00 appointment plus our reservation was "outdoor seating" but it was not available for us...
besides the hair that was in my salad, the promise to have a manager come over that never did, my food was good. Lots of options.
Real good food and our server was super nice. A friendly manager stopped by our table during brunch to check on our dining experience.
Sushi rolls and cesar salad are really good, margarita or sangria is a must!
Patio area was busy but still felt safe with space between tables. Food was excellent and service was prompt.
Our first time in a restaurant in a year! The outdoor terrace was super! Very comfortable and spacious. Great service!
Delicious food and drinks. On the expensive side though.
Lovely setting at the Produntial with an outdoors rooftop section. Good spacing and barriers between table and a wonderful menu! Lot's of variety for every set of taste buds
It was great!!! Except, the night we went something was broken in the kitchen and half of the menu was unavailable. But the drinks were amazing :)
It was awesome and quick
We had such a fun time out at Earls! We had the nicest waitress who was very friendly and engaging
One of my fav back bay restaurants with many great options for vegans and carnivores! Love the atmosphere, though my drink was pretty weak this time around.
The food was good but somewhat overpriced. When we got our table, it was dirty. The outdoor eating was just a giant tent filled to full capacity, so it wasn't very covid-friendly, which we didn't appreciate. The blinds kept going on and off, blocking off the sunlight which rendered the outdoor patio dining decision somewhat useless. If people were cold, they should have just sat inside instead of blocking the outdoor light for everyone else.
We went for brunch and our server, Nick, was wonderful! He was helpful, accommodating, and attentive. Sophia, the manager, came to our table to see how everything was & to ask if we needed anything. The food, an omelette & Eggs Benedict was outstanding. Wonderful brunch!
Unfortunately it took someone 15 minutes to attend to me after I sat down (I mean like we didn’t even get water at our table, no silverware, nothing). The calamari was a bit chewy and didn’t feel as fresh as it has been in the past. Fries were a bit stale. Sushi was great. The patio outdoors is wonderful, just would have been better on a warmer day, (which is no ones fault).
Very chic, attractive restaurant with wide, modern and high-ceilinged space. The service was attentive and respectful and the menu choices were varied. I would go back!
Great restaurant and great service. I will definitely be going back
Had lunch here 2 days in a row! The avocado quinoa bowl was delicious as well as the fish and chips! Alyssa, our server, was amazing!
This was one of the best experiences I have had at a restaurant. The drinks and food were both excellent. Will definitely be going there again.
Fun atmosphere, good food, a little loud, but a nice meal overall
Place wasn’t clean
Our server Parker was awesome! She was super friendly and energetic. She didn't miss a beat. The food was delicious. My crab cakes were amazing and my husband had the ribs! I cannot say enough about the service and food here. It's my third or fourth time back. I highly recommend it.
Love Earl's every time I go. Went for cocktails and appetizers this time, and their outdoor space is perfect for that! Be sure to ask what their drink of the month is for a discounted cocktail!
