   Absolutely appalling experience — Earls West Vancouver has gone completely downhill. We had high hopes returning here after a great visit in September 2024, but this time was an utter disaster from start to finish. We showed up for our reservation only to wait 15 minutes for a table. Once seated, it took another 15 minutes for anyone to even acknowledge us, no water, no menus, nothing. Finally, a manager came over 8 minutes later to take our drink order (where was our server?). We ordered drinks, only for the manager to return and inform us that they were out of the drinks we picked. We chose different ones and tried to order an appetizer. Our actual server didn’t appear until over half an hour after we were seated. At that point, we decided to leave and just pay for what we’d had. That’s when the real chaos began. My friend’s payment mysteriously didn’t go through, so she had to try again, and the second total was higher than the first. She paid again, only to check her banking app and find out she had been double charged. It then took another 30 minutes for the manager to resolve the issue, during which he wandered around looking for a working card reader, came back with the same one, and somehow made it work. We explained how unacceptable the entire experience had been. He refunded us, but at that point, the damage was done. Tables around us were also getting up and leaving before even ordering. The only saving grace? The drinks and appetizers (once we finally got them) were actually good, so clearly this isn’t a kitchen or bar issue. It’s a management and service disaster. We won’t be returning, and based on what we saw, we’re not the only ones.

   My family & I had such a pleasant and beautiful time there. We loved the ambiance and overall atmosphere. We loved the table we got with the beautiful surroundings. Food was good. Alice made our time so much better there - she’s such a genuine and dedicated person. Thank you. We enjoyed our early Mother’s Day celebration there.

   Excellent food and amazing service. It was a busy night and the serving staff delivered without a problem. The new Tacos are delicious and a go to item.

   Poor service. We would have bought more drinks but no one even asked. Had to hunt down the server to pay

   May 3 - I had a great experience! Thelma and Bahar at reception and Fatima, Saina and Dhillon in the dining room were super friendly and efficient. It was very kind of Emma to pass by and say hello. The salmon was very good too! Thank you all!

   April 30 - Thelma at reception and Madison, Leif and Hudson in the dining room were superb! The Cajun Chicken was very good! It was good of Noah to pass by to say hello. Thank you all for an enjoyable visit!

   Excellent service by server who gave welcomed instructions to kitchen about plating our food. Food was tasty.

   We have always enjoyed Earls.. today a couple of dishes were just warm so they quickly sent them back and reheated them. The service was great lots of staff coming by and making sure we were happy. Overall a good experience.

    We had the happy hour steak frites and chicken tenders with fries. Steak was cooked perfectly medium and so tasty! We also enjoyed a delectable chocolate sticky toffee pudding. The chef's treated us to a delicious creme brulee. It was an incredible experience at a restaurant we go to at least 2-3 times a month.
