   Yesterday ( Mother’s Day ) We enjoyed a beautiful dinner at the restaurant 300 Main Winnipeg. We go there quite often. I have always enjoyed it there, however yesterday our waitress was a little rude ( and I don’t think she meant to be) as we’ve had her before and she was pretty good. My aunt was looking at the drink menu and my uncle was asking the waitress for recommendations on a good wine. She said oh this is a good one, and literally took the drink menu out of my aunts hands and started showing him. About 5 seconds later she says; oh sorry were you looking at this? Umm, yes clearly she was. Then we mentioned to her that we had asked for mashed potatoes not rice. Meanwhile it came out with rice, ( easy mistake) so we told her no we asked for mashed potato not rice. She said oh ok I’ll get your mashed potato. She added it $7 to the bill, yet it was her mistake. We ordered drinks, and my Mojito that I asked for 2oz was nothing but crushed ice. I got maybe 4 sips of a drink for $16. For it being Mother's day, it wasn’t insanely busy at all, and several tables were emptying while we were half way through our meal. I felt like she took forever to come back to the table each time. She had a positive attitude, but she just seemed a bit oblivious at times to simple matters. My biggest disappoint for me other than the drinks and mistake of potatoes /rice ( which $7 isn’t horrible or anything, was the fact that she took that menu right out of my aunts hands without asking if she could take it or see it at all. I certainly would not want to get her in trouble, as I’ve seen her several times and she’s been our waitress before. I just feel like she could use a reminder to not be so “overly happy” talkative) and slow down. Not to take a menu right from someone when they’re still clearly looking at it. It could have been a more enjoyable time for sure. My mood was off when I seen that from her. I was still of course respectful and left an 18% tip on a $245 bill.

   One of the best poke bowls I ate. Flavourful. I also love the ribs, not dry. The side dish is excellent specially the potato salad. Best cheese cake for sessert.

   Had just amazing experience at Earls Main Street. Staff was amazing, attentive, would go above and beyond to make our time there great.

   Came here with my family for Mother’s Day brunch and we had a wonderful time! The food was fantastic, mimosas were perfect, and service was exceptional!

   Great evening and fun patio! Always a great time! It would be wonderful if they could open the patio more often. The management seems quite strict on opening the full patio, for example if it's too windy or 20% chance of rain, where other restaurants have their patios fully open. The steak frites are our favorite, but the steaks were overdone on Friday. We were surprised they still have 3/4 of their menu featuring USA wines.

   Excellent food, service, except my fries were cold, but, within a minute of informing my server, hot fries were delivered.

   The food was amazing. This was my first time at this location. I loved the brightness. Our waitress was top notch and so lovely. She explained the new items on the menu as well. Checked with us but not too often. Highly recommend this location

   Everything was great. It was a busy night because of the Jets game. The only thing was my leg got absolutely soaked because their patio cushions weren’t put away during rain.

    Overall good experience but it was diappointing that happy hour is only offered in the lounge and patio but not in the restaurant.
