Earls Kitchen + Bar - 170th Street - Edmonton
Service and food was amazing
My only complaint is that it was very hot inside the lounge
Excellent service — felt a little rushed to leave but overall good.
The noise level was not anything you could do about. We were there when a few fire trucks went by and loud cars. Otherwise it was excellent. Loved the Clam chowder and salad offering. I could come back already.
Service was super.
You get what you pay for! Happy Hour slashes prices but also
Your serving . Half a glass of Sangria and Small portions of food .
So not so Happy I’d rather pay full price and get my full serving instead of buying two of everything to get one full serving .
Service was excellent but food was really horrible. I had the calamari and it was so greasy I barely ate half of it. I've had calamari at Earls before and it was good so I'm quite disappointed that it's changed. Wouldn't recommend it.
Food flies. Please fix that it was gross seeing little bugs swarming my food
All was good, thanks!
There was two tables of like 7-8 small kids with three adults. The kids were literally all over the place. Not contained at all. Was distracting. Especially in Covid time’s. They should have been sitting at the table.
I get the whole family outing thing. But would hate to see yet another good restaurant turned into a McDonald’s.
Adults need a place to go to get away too. I say that being a mother of 4.
Service and food were great.
Very great food of course, our waitress was very friendly and fun, would definitely return.
Lunch was great. Staff clean and consciousness and very good service
I loved our seating. It felt so private even tho people were around us. It wasn’t overly loud or crowded. The server checked on us many times and she was great. My Bacon burger was enormous and delicious and I loved the fries. They were perfect. And I’m extremely picky when it comes to fries. Definitely a great spot for supper with the man or my older daughter.
Amazing experience. Our server was so helpful and the entire staff was friendly.
It was so to be able to visit a friend and not be rushed to be served. Our server was amazing and gave us all the time we needed. She always checked on us to ensure we had what we needed but not a bothersome amount of times. Unfortunately I can’t remember her name it might’ve been Ashley but I could be wrong. Either way she was lovely and our lunch was very prompt, hot and good!
The restaurant could have been cleaner. There was a pretty good layer of dust on most flat surfaces around our table and a lot of food crumbs between our table and the wall.
I would suggest Earls serves the hot food on warm plates instead of cold plates. I like my food hot and the cold plates cool the food down.
Covid precautions in place. Never once felt compromised
Everything was good, But when I had booked I requested the patio on Opentable, and when I got to the restaurant, they said the patio can not be booked ahead. That should be noted.
I had the santa fe chicken salad. It had to get sent back bc I asked for dressing on the side (human error so no problem) but when the salad came back the chicken was cold and all the corn, beans dates were in a lump on the bottom of the bowl. Just wasnt as good as the first time i had it...Disappointing. The server was good.
Great food, great service. Earls never disappoints
Impressed with the way in which physical distancing was kept.
Food was altogether tasty and nicely presented.
Lived up to the Earl’s standard. Food was good. Ambience was a little off but understandable under the circumstances.
Everything was great except the hair on my wife’s steak, it was our first night out after this whole covid thing, and our first night out before covid because of children and she gets a huge covid hair on her steak, the waitress was quick and replaced the steak and was very nice but the hair was pretty gross especially during these times.
My wife and I always enjoy Earls, the food, service and atmosphere. If there is a criticism it’s that it was a little too cold from the air conditioning when we first got there and also we both ordered the chicken and fig sandwich. And as soon as we bit into it the chicken and fig slid out. Perhaps not have so much mayo or lettuce?
Everyone you talk to about Earls comments that "It's a bit pricey" I haven't been to Earls for about 15 years - my food was excellent and I will come back
Great service. Social distancing in place, felt safe.
The six of us had a very good experience. We were spaced out okay and had a choice of patio or inside. First time family together in long time so happy it was positive time ☺️
Food was good, very quiet. They were very accommodating with my reservation request.
When I ate at Earls a few days ago the waitress was very good involving my gluten free allergy and made me feel worry free.
All great. Dry ribs need more salt and pepper like other locations.
Since Earls reopened, it has cheapened our on many things. I was disappointed to find out how many things changed for the worse. My ahi tuna poke bowl had different rice, sauce and macadamia toppings. And my friend’s ribs were not as flavourful. My chocolate desert was different too. Happy hour now ends at 5 instead of 6pm. It made us not want to come back. I understand that it’s been close for awhile and they’re trying to make profit but the way they’re doing it will only make people like me go elsewhere. You don’t need a business and marketing degree to understand why they’ll end up loosing money in the long run by cheating out on the ingredients. Prices are the same but quality went down. I hope it’s just a phase because I’ve been a regular at earls for years. Service is still decent tho. So that’s that.
Even wearing masks and fewer tables, the staff were cheerful and friendly.
Food is overpriced for value. Way too noisy. Needs to be renovated actually feels dirty.
Celebrating my dads 70th Birthday. Service was slow but I understand we had a new waitress!
Met friend for Happy Hour and enjoyed reduced price items from the regular menu. This was an opportunity to try some of the new feature menu items ie tomato soup and gyozas. Service was attentive. Food was good.
Service and food were great. That’s what I love about Earls, never a bad meal!
Family get together
They made sure my steak was cooked the way I liked it! Were quick and super polite!!
Went for a birthday, party of 10. Earls did an awesome job, the food and drinks were delicious as we've come to expect from Earls... Thank you.
