   Pasta Tuesday such a hit!! Great value for money. Could have been offered another drink in the time we were there. But would highly recommend.

   Hello, we had a great time last night at Earl. Food was delicious and my table of 5 enjoyed themselves. However, there were a few things that could be improved upon: 1) Service - there were two occasions where the table was left without drinks and water, I had to ask for water in the end. Although busy last night, staff accordingly for what I would assume is one of the busiest nights of the week. 2) Sound - sound dampening needs to be improved, could barely hear the person beside me and we are all in our 40’s, I could only imagine how hard it would be for older people who have hearing problems. 3) Parking- although it is out of your hands the construction on the street outside, indicating on your website where there is available parking would be very helpful. Thank-you for the overall nice evening. Earl has the potential to be one of the best restaurants in Christchurch, keep striving for excellence.

For next time, we have a dedicated parking info page on our website (via the parking banner or “Find Us” page), plus details in booking emails and weekly social updates.    This was an excellent meal starting from appetizers and finishing with deserts. Beautifully prepared sofisticated dishes, delicious and super friendly service.

   I made a booking a month in advance because we were gonna celebrate something special and we know this place it’s always busy, they made us wait 30 mins for our table to be ready, even though there were empty tables around, took very long to order anything, they were very short staffed. Food was good but for all that trouble would go somewhere else.

   It was my first time at Earl and I would definitely go back again. The pasta night is a great idea, however I think the promos should mention the additional cost for meat added to the pasta meals.

    We had trust the chef. We enjoyed every serving , the portions were just the right size & we ate enough so that we weren't overly full. We particularly liked the chargrilled prawn & eggplant.
