Passed this tavern many times over the years and was always curious about the establishment. We recently visited my hometown and decided to try it out. It was amazing. I ordered the scallops and they were probably the best I ever had. Our waitress was a jewel and had a great personality. Will definitely eat here on our next visit!

Went for a late dinner on Saturday night. It was surprisingly empty. The food quality and taste is definitely good. The service is hit or miss. We’ve been there a few times and it’s consistently good overall.

Although we have eaten at Eagle Tavern many times in the past, this trip might have knocked it off our list for good. For openers, apparently management doesn't keep tabs on what is posted on Open Table. When I made the reservation, OT said there was a Happy Hour special that offered drinks and apps at 1/2 price. The server knew nothing about this when we mentioned it. She checked it with management and advised us that there were no Happy Hour specials that evening. Strike one. My wife and our guest ordered iced tea. The server (whom we later learned was working her 2nd night) did not bring sweetener with the teas, so my wife asked for it. After a good 5-minute wait, I finally got up and retrieved the sweetener myself. Strike 2. When the french onion soup I ordered arrived ALONG WITH my entree, I sent it back. Who wants the soup course at the same time as their entree? Strike 3! They're OUT!

Decided to try the Eagle Tavern again after we noticed that their parking lot is always full. Seemed like a good sign and it was. Our dinner was excellent. The portions were generous and my salmon was very good, the vegetables were crisp and the bread was delicious. Our server couldn't have been more pleasant. Highly recommend.

First time back in over 20 years, House Wine and Martini were excellent and at happy hour inexpensive, the pot sticker appetizers were large, very thin dough and excellent tasting. My wife said the cod was excellent and I had the half rack of ribs, also excellent. The portions were just right even a little too much for a light eater. Our server was very pleasant and knowledgeable about the menu and specials. This will now be one of our go to places to dine out

Service was horrible. We were ignored for at least 15 minutes. She never came back to see if we wanted more drinks. Food was fair for price. Overall, horrible Mother’s Day for me at this restaurant!
