   Beautiful restaurant overlooking river and Olympic ski training site. Service excellent. Prices fair. My tomahawk steak was superb. Would highly recommend this steak restaurant.

   Food was great. We came for the bison but they were out, so we all tried alternatives and were happy. Fully loaded potatoes came out cool and hard but meat was done perfectly. Our server Sash was great. Overall a 4.

   The staff was amazing. We had a drink at the bar that was delicious (their version of a espresso martini). At our table the server was very friendly & talked about skiing & the area with us & was very informative. The steaks were perfectly cooked & tasted incredible. The sides (Mac & cheese & corn brûlée) were like desserts they tasted so good. Wonderful experience.

   The food is always excellent, albeit over priced. We waited over a half an hour for our reservation while others who arrived after us with a later time were seated. The space is always uncomfortably cool as it was this time. It’s always loud. This was a particularly bad time as the middle-age gentlemen seated at the table next to us needed to make sure everyone paid attention to them. management really should have asked them to tone it down. Service was poor as our waiter was more interested in paying attention to the single blonde lady at the bar, rather than waiting on our table. We’ve been several times, and although the food remains excellent, I don’t think will return.

   Did not meet expectations for this high end steak house. A 57 dollar filet should not have gristly things in it that you can’t chew. Waiter was not very attentive.

   Loved this place! The food was delicious, the wine selection - by the glass and bottle- was well rounded, and the ambiance was comfortable and cozy. We will definitely return!

    The food was excellent! Our waitress and bar tender were very polite and made the experience great. We also got a complimentary dessert since it was our anniversary. So sweet! The only thing we weren't fans of were that we came about ten minutes early for our reservation at 5. Happy hour was still going and there were a few very drunk and very loud guys at the bar. We finally got to our table and a family with young kids were sat next to us. The kids were screaming quite a bit so it killed the vibe a bit. Definitely not the restaurant's fault but wanted to make a note of it. Other than that, everything was fantastic!

    Good food, but the service could have been better. We ordered a side of bread, and butter with appetizers. We had to ask for it twice, and sat there with nothing at our table for a bit.

    Had a reservation and our table was not ready. We were told to go have a drink at the bar which was packed with no were to sit or approach the bartender for a drink. We had to stand for a half hour before we got our table. I saw a least six tables open that could have accommodated us. I inquired about the open tables and was told they were reserved.

    First sat at a table that was less desirable near the kitchen. Manager was very nice to switch us to the window table. This made a world of difference with the noise level. Great food and service. Thank you E3!

    Service was great, so was ambiance. We had the bacon wrapped dates which were tasty, the smoked old fashion (husband liked the cloud 9 more). We both got filets. Mine was tasty but nothing that made all these price points worth it? Like, amazing steaks in so many cities for probably similar price points but with $20 apps, salads, and nearly $10 toppings, - and I haven’t even mentioned sides. Everything was good but not starting at $17 a pop good.

    For a restaurant that specializes in meat based dishes, every one we tried was very bland and overpriced. The crab cakes were good. The ambience was trumped by the two large TV’s at the bar showing sports… I’m really tired of going to supposedly upscale restaurants that end up being fancy sports bars.

    From ordering it took over 1 hour for appetizers to come out, 2.5 hours for entrees, dessert took 35 minutes to come out after ordering. Food was okay, terrible service.

    We started with cocktails the we ordered the fig and goat cheese salad, cowboy rib eye steak, whipped potatoes and a creme brûlée. Overall the food was okay. The steak had many chewy pieces which left an unpleasant taste. I don’t believe it was a prime cut of meat. Although the service was better than average, I find it an annoyance when my main. Course arrives while I just started eating my salad. The timing was off and that should be standard practice in a nice restaurant. Ambiance was great and the noise level was low so you can have a conversation. I expected more from this restaurant but it also did not disappoint.

    The manager of the restaurant made this the most memorable dining experience in the 30 plus years we have been coming to Steamboat! The food was amazing, the service was fantastic including the assistant from Columbia (who we enjoyed very much) and the carrot cake was the best! We will definitely be back next month when we are in town!
