Excellent food and service. Great location along river. Unfortunately the weather did not cooperate so we were unable to enjoy the fire pit area but it looked awesome! We both had filets and they were tender and perfectly cooked. Lobster bisque was outstanding as well. Definitely recommend!

Interesting that in “Cowboy town “ such as Steamboat you better not look like one since it appears to be the determining factor on just what kind of service you will encounter. Well at least at the E3 Chophouse.

We have been here numerous of times but the food was not the tasty that we are use to! Filet had no flavor and was tough! We love this place but very disappointed in the meal overall! Not worth the $500.00 we spent! The waiter was excellent! Would recommend and have many times but wondering what has happened now!

We always have at least one dinner at E3 when we are in Steamboat. The food is exemplary and the staff at this restaurant go above and beyond. If it’s on the menu the Wild Elk Ragout over Pappardelle is insanely good. The rack of Lamb is also a must try. You can’t go wrong at E3..it’s a must for anyone visiting Steamboat!

We love E3 Chophouse with it's excellent food and location on the Yampa River, but this experience left us a little disappointed due to the time it took for the entrees to be delivered to us. The starter of beef tartare and drinks came quickly as well as the incredible gluten free lobster bisque and wedge salad. But we waited almost 30 minutes for the entree. The waiter was very good and apologized a couple of times for the wait, but...

We had a wonderful meal here and the whole experience was lovely — the evening breeze and tree lights created a cozy and summer ambiance as our table overlooked the patio and river. The ahi tuna, steak, and deserts were delicious and the service was exceptional. Our waiter Kevin was thoughtful, engaging, and attentive, celebrating with us for our anniversary!

Missed the mark. I’ve been dining here annually since they opened over a decade ago. My medium rare stead was medium-well done, the watermelon feta salad was topped with granola and the flavors did not go well together and the Brussel sprouts were soggy. I’m hoping it was a one-off night but a huge disappointment for a meal that I was really looking forward to.

Ehhh- this steakhouse is subpar. Hate to say it because we LOVE steamboat but they need some kind of overhaul. The restaurant itself is gorgeous and yes I get that it is a steakhouse but there were mo kids options. Not looking for a grilled cheese or tenders but looking for a kid friendly meal, maybe a petite filet with small side veggies. There was nothing. We had to get lobster truffle mac and cheese with it all on the side. The server didn’t know the menu or the beer options. The meal was “ok”. Tuna app lacked flavor. We learned the hard way - casual is better in steamboat
