Although you could tell the staff was busy and short-staffed, we had the most incredible experience. Service was great, food was outstanding, and the atmosphere on the rooftop was just what I wanted. We did move downstairs to the dining room for dinner, but I think I might’ve preferred to stay simply because the weather was nice. We will definitely be back!

This is a first rate steakhouse with a great space, rooftop bar and some very interesting menu options and sides. Anyone visiting Belmont Or Vanderbilt U needs to check it out. Classy, but fun and excellent food and service.
Ribeye steak was bland. Filet mignon was just ok. Asparagus Oscar was so bad we sent it back. Crab dip appetizer was good. 3 oz martini was $21 plus tax plus tip. The bread was terrible. Best part of meal was the mashed potatoes. Find somewhere else to eat a $250 meal.
The food was mediocre at best. Happy to pay well for a great meal but this was definitely not worth the price.
I really do not like giving bad reviews but our experience at E3 was not good. I intentionally didn’t trash them in my ratings because E3 has a ton of potential and everyone we encountered was great and they took care of us for the lacking service.
I think they have a lot of potential but the lack of service from the wait staff to the kitchen help is killing them! We totally get the shortage of workers & went into each meal we had while in Nashville with that in mind. The individuals themselves were great they simply do not have enough employees and trying to do all things may be hurting them more than helping them.
We went for Sunday brunch with a reservation and were seated promptly. Hostess was great and when seating us told us a DJ was supposed to be there but didn’t show up.
Our server was slow to take drink orders and the drinks took a long time to arrive.
Our appetizer was good and came in a timely manner. We then waited a really long time before we ordered. Got our order in and waited and waited for our food. We caught the bartender while he was passing our table & mentioned we had been here an hour & still didn’t have our food. He was great and said he would check with the kitchen & get the manager involved. He came back told us it was being plated right then. The manager came by about 10 minutes later told us the same thing went on to tell us a chef quit a week ago & they also had a 16 in while we were there. She made a point to say they were not making excuses. About 10 minutes later our food finally came.
The food was ok except for one of the guests with us ordered the French toast and it was barely cooked- basically still runny with the egg mixture & was inedible.
It is a trying time for businesses. It’s a cool place & the staff were all very friendly, attentive as they could be given how short staffed they were & tried very hard. With that, I would give E3 another chance again in the future.
The food was incredible - top five dinners of my life of eating out all over the world. Our server Jeff was fantastic and attentive. Chef Salvador was beyond incredible in the food he prepared. Can’t wait to go back.

Beginning service (water and drinks was slow), 25 minutes for this and there after service was spotty. Food was okay, my wife’s steak was close to rare than medium. Mine was closer to to medium than medium rare, not not bad. Price for the side was a bit high ($24 for lobster Mac that had one single tiny piece of claw). Likely not a revisit place due to price vs. quality & service.
Incredible customer service!!! Our waitress was so sweet, made great recs, and had perfect timing when checking in on us. Also loved talking to the sommelier, and her recommendation was perfect for us - both taste and price range. Everything we ordered was incredible. The steak tartare was my favorite. Thanks so much for making our night special!
No complaints we were upstairs and didn’t hear any noise from outside. Great food, drinks and service. Will go back again!

In town for vacation- was my wife’s birthday. Our waiter Jeff was excellent and made the evening fun. Appreciated the Manager’s visit and conversation at our table. Made us feel very welcome. Food was excellent as expected as we have eaten at the Steamboat E3 as well.
