E&O Kitchen and Bar

This is one of my favorite restaurants. Never disappoints!
E&O is not the place you’re going to hang out at every night rather a cool place to take someone from out of town or one of your teams at work that appreciates nice food. I had eight different items all delicious but the item that stood out was the pork chop-slightly caramelized char, cooked just to the point where the fat infuses perfectly into the meat.
Food was great, energy was high. Everything was tasty. Loved the eggplant!
All was fine. Food was delicious.
Service poor , very slow
Food was good and interesting, and there were some dishes like the Indonesian fritter that I haven't seen anywhere else. Service was OK, but the food took forever to come out (we didn't receive the last main course dish until more than an hour after we ordered). I also thought the portion sizes were sort of small... when you spend $150 on dinner for two, you don't expect to walk away hungry. Also I told them it was my girlfriend's birthday and even mentioned it when we arrived, but that was the end of it... other restaurants might give you a free drink or something. So there wasn't anything wrong with the meal, and I would go back, but there nothing that "wowed" me either.
The food was delicious!! We ordered fried calamari, duck buns, butternut squash dumplings, chicken in lettuce wrap. All of it was excellent!! The wait staff was very attentive. Best place I've been to in a long time!!
Entrees came out at different times. Makes it hard to enjoy a family style meal
Disappointing food and service. Wine list limited.
Absolutely love the fried rice. Awesome every time we come to E&O. This is our favorite lunch place in San Francisco.
Oysters were not fresh and shaking beef is not good. But, everything else was great. I've been here a few times now and it's pretty consistent.
Extremely noisy in the rear. Could hardy enjoy our meal. Rushed though our meal to depart as quickly as possible to enjoy drinks at a another restaurant.
I had the most delicious meal. I started out with the corn fritters as an appetizer. There were two large fritters which were perfect as an appetizer for my husband and myself. Even though they were deep fried, they were light and crunchy and delicious. For my main course, I had the black cod which was cooked to perfection and very flavorful. I cannot day enough good things about this restaurant and the food.
Everyone in our group of ten loved it! The food was delicious. The service was great. Everything was set up nicely in anticipation of our visit. Would highly recommend to others.
The food was terrible! Everything we ordered was too oily and the flavor was horrible it is also extremely overpriced for the type of food you are getting.
Dishes were delish! The sampler appetizer platter was great! My cod dish was tasty!
We had our Thanksgiving dinner at Bluestem and it was beyond our expectations. The food was exceptional. The service was outstanding. All in all a perfect experience.
Great find in SF. The food was amazing. We had a great dinner here and we would highly recommend it.
Second time in two days we ate there- first night in a group of 18, second night only 3 of us. Both times - fantastic food, great wine choices and great service - would go back here every time I’m in SF - and I’m a foodie and a wino - truly a great place to have good food and interesting wines and have fun!
The food was quite good, but the restaurant was very loud, making it hard to carry on any sort of conversation.
It is ok but I probably will try another cocktail lounge next time.
great food but noisy xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Great Experience we really enjoyed our meal
Food is very good second time here. Service and timing of food a little off for ordering at the same time in a large group. Overall good price point and variety. Definitely recommend.
Excellent food quality, highly recommend
Such a fabulous experience at E&O Kitchen! Not only was the food amazing, but the service was equally fantastic! Could eat their mushroom dumplings all day, everyday...or their insanely delicious mud pie that could be as big as like a small dog...holy cow what a desert! My friends and I will definitely be coming back for our next girls night!
food is fine but your people need serious training on customer service. you had 3 people at the front desk but they couldn't figure out your reservation system. we were 15 mins late for our reservation so he told me he couldn't seat me and the next reservation was 1.5 hours later. I walked outside and found a reservation 15 mins later on OT (which I'm going to assume was our orig reservation). made the reservation and came back in and then had to wait another 1/2 hour with no apologies. they gave away my table when I'm 15 mins late but they were 20 mins late to seat me with my 2nd reservation. no apologies not friendly at all. your front of the house people need a major make over!
I visited this restaurant on a work trip so sat at the bar. Bartenders were responsive and healthy. Food was good - I got the cod - but salty as it was made with soy so I wasn't surprised. I'm also not one to put salt on my food so am sensitive to salt. Anyway, I'd absolutely go back as overall it was a very positive experience and the locals seem to enjoy as well as it was fairly full on a Thursday night.
The food is not good. We ordered pad thai, spring rolls and duck buns, and all three items were not tasty.
Nothing remarkably good or bad
Amazing ambiance. Even better food. Great service. Yummy cocktails
I’m vegan grain free and was hungry. Service was fast and very delicious!
Quality of food was not what I’ve been accustomed to in the past.
Their food is always excellent. It’s becone one of my fave places in the city.
It was fine :)
Went here for early dinner before theater. In luck as Happy Hour from 3 -6 pm with some yummy appetizers and small bites. Chardonnay also $6.00 glass :)
Had the squash dumpling & corn fritters. The fritters so good we ordered another before Happy hour was done!
Then we shared Shrimp Pad Thai, chicken lettuce cups & lamb naan. All were delcious.
Running out of time, we skipped the Mud pie but ordered ginger cookies to go...Perfect treat to take to theatre! Service was good as well.
Nice spot, a block off Union Square, near Grand Hyatt.
Loved the food.
Corn fritters were unique and oh so tasty.
Food is exceptionally well-prepared and delicious. Price points are a bit high otherwise this would be one of my go-to standards. Good location, just off Union Square.
Service is incredible, with well attentive staff. The good is incredible with a range of cuisines that let you travel the world. This is an exceptional place!
Great food and menu. Love the satay and BBQ ribs! Service could be better.
