Good Asian fusion, but pretty noisy environment. In general, the photos look better than the place itself. Though, the food is good value for money. We really liked the dumplings and the satay platter. Not what we expected, but we still had a pretty decent time and good food.
Great flavors but the service was awful.
Nice big space delicious food!
Like all american restaurants too loud
Way too loud for older ears. First seated in area where we had to shout to be heard across the table. The next location was a bit better, but way to loud.
Súper rico todo los platillos que pedimos. TIP: pedir platos para compartir para que puedan probar de todo. La atención fue excelente, gracias Francisco y Martín por hacernos sentir como en casa.
Oysters were just okay. Food was just okay. Good value and good service.
Food was great, modern Asian/American fusion fare, not traditional but very tasty. Meat cooked over coals which is much appreciated! Generous portions, we ordered 7 starters and satays to share among four ppl and we were stuffed - go easy on the starters if you want a main and dessert. Service was great, reasonable value ~$50 per head but we rolled out very full. I highly recommend eating here!
Food was delicious! we got the duck buns, ribs, Indonesian rice & chicken satay. Dessert was only okay, the chocolate brownie/banana combo. Service was fast, we had 2 plates of food before our drinks came which felt a bit rushed. I would 100% come back just for the ribs though!
Outstanding food and service!
We were wanting some fresh and healthy Chinese food and this was a great fit! Waiter was super attentive, food hot or cold as it should be. Beef satay was the best I’ve ever tasted. Not traditional Chinese food, but it was a great experience.
My friends and I will definitely go back; great food and excellent service.
Food and service was fantastic. Particularly recommend the black cod. Only slight negatives were the proximity of the tables and the extremely fast delivery of the food. We would have liked to savour each delicious plateful a wee bit longer!
The food was exceptional. Two of us split 2 small plates and one large plate. Best calamari ever and the fried rice rocked.
We have been here several times before and were a bit disappointed on some of our favorite dishes. The duck bao were less flavorful(dry) and the salt and pepper calamari was nothing special.but the dried green beans blew us away yet again, and the mushroom dumplings sublime. Our service was beyond 5 stars, always is.
Great food and a great time.
We meet friends for lunch. It was quiet enough that we had no problems hearing each other. The service was great. The lunch menu had many choices on it from large to small. We all agreed that it was a good experience.
Not too sure if the oysters served was fresh. But Would not mind going back again, and perhaps avoid the oysters.
Great food and awesome service. I Only mentioned it was my boyfriends birthday and Ting the waitress took it upon her wonderful self to bring out a delicious cookie dessert with a candle. Couldn’t have asked for a better first experience.
Wonderful food, excellent service, great location close to Union Sq, Nob Hill and Chinatown. Lots of hard surfaces create noise levels above average when restaurant is busy.
the food was yummy - as the smells from all the other dishes made you want to order more and more. the service was great and constant checking to make sure we were ok. yes I would go here again (sooner if I lived closer).
Food overall was good. Portions a bit small. Space is very nice and good for meetings.
Love bring my clients here for business lunches. The staff and food are always great.
Horrendous food. Shaking beef was tough and spicy. Service by Amanda was sub par. Never checked on us and did not communicate. Will not be back. I spent over $100 for two people with no wine. Are you frigid kidding me?
Went here with a last minute reservation on a busy nice. Cute restaurant with a nice vibe. Service was impeccable and food was very tasty. We ordered about 6 to 7 dishes served family style so we could all share at the table. Nice presentation and food came timely. Great server. The only issue we had was a shaking beef order which was raw inside. Plate was beautiful in presentation and looked cooked but was absolutely raw inside and I don't mean rare or medium rare but raw. Brought to attention of our server who promptly removed it from our table and from the bill so well handled. Offered to replace it but we declined since we had so many other dishes to eat which were perfectly prepared. No big deal to us. The server brought is a free dessert to make up for it and apologized. We were happy with that. Would definitely come here again.
LOVED E & O and had a great meal there while visiting San Francisco with my two sisters. We ordered a number of small plates and left there fat and happy!
We were a group of seven, from three different countries, making the most of our Happy Hour, wedding and anniversary celebrations. Delicious food, prompt service, patient server (Maria), and fun ambiance made everything a hit.
Good for a business lunch. It's typically quiet here during the day. It is busy for happy hour.
Excellent spot for dinner. Delicious and varied food, great service. Highly recommended.
Great food and prompt friendly service
This place does not disappoint! The food is great, and the service is excellent. It is also a nice quiet place where it is easy to have a great conversation.
The food was outstanding, we had great service from Miguel plus his insights on our various choices.
we were never hurried and will return again.
Great service, our server remembered us from the previous years we were there with our little girl for our annual anniversary celebration in SF. He remembered that we were from SoCal and that last two years we also came up for our anniversary. Food was delicious. We ordered lettuce wraps, calamari, and shaken steak. It was plenty of food. I am most impress by his attention to our details. I only wish I remembered his name.
My party was one of the first to arrive in restaurant before lunch rush. We got appetizers pretty quickly, but our main entrees took too long to get to us. The gap was too long and we were already full and most of us had to get to go boxes. Larger parties got their food quicker. We were only a 4 top.
Happy hour is all good here
Food was very good. Service was slow, especially considering it was early and they were not busy.
The restaurant is was nice. Friendly service and staff. Food was tasty. Mushroom dumplings, lamb noodles and green bean side were excellent.
This lunch was our first time dining at E&O Kitchen and it will definitely NOT be our last. The food was superb, the service was impeccable and the atmosphere was intriguing but welcoming. We ordered a smattering of appetizers and small plates to include the edamame, green beans, two different type of dumplings and chickpea fries. All the dishes were wonderful with spectacular blend of flavors. I would highly recommend E&O Kitchen to family and friends.
We had a large party and they accommodated excellently. We were given a very comfortable spot that still provided the group with some privacy. The service was amazing, and the food was delicious!
