Wonderful last dinner of our new York trip
We wanted a cozy bar type restaurant with a “ cheers “ like feel and we got it!! Will be back ❤️
Absolutely loved the cocktails here! Really cool drinks and a fun atmosphere!
Nice drink menu. Food was average. Ambience is nice.
Always a fabulous time! The Huevos Rancheros were delicious!
We had a great Brunch here. I love a good breakfast sandwich and the egg Sammy here was excellent.
The best cocktail lounge in the Theater District. With a cool downtown vibe, DF's serves awesomely creative mixed drinks and delicious food.
My only “complaint” was that we were going to be late for our reservation- I called the restaurant twice to let them know. Got a voicemail each time. I quickly made a modification to our reservation when we knew we were going to be late - and We fortunately were still able to be seated when we arrived. Food was good - drinks were pricey - but it’s NYC. We had a good time overall.
Great gluten free options, amazing cocktails, awesome atmosphere and lighting.
Hadn’t been back in over a year and DF’s did not disappoint. Kinky Boots for the Mrs. and a Sixth Sense for me. Great - well crafted cocktails. Followed this up up with the Oregon Pinot Noir .... fair priced and better than fair quality.... whoever is responsible - nicely done! Eggplant chips, lamb sliders, and the seared sesame tuna. Thursday night - we were there early /pre show and if you didn’t have a rez waits were 1/2 hour +..place was crowded which increased the decibel level but - hey - I always say if it’s that popular odds are decent the place is pretty good. Totally (still) recommend!
Great drinks before a show.
Food was great. Drinks elegant. Attractive crowd. Exceptional service.
Great drinks and food. Friendly service.
Great place for drinks and a nosh. The restaurant does NOT have a full menu, so don’t expect dessert unless you plan to drink it.
Fantastic food and drinks - and atmosphere was amazing. Service could have been a little more attentive, but everything else made up for it!
Great brunch menu! Avocado mash was plentiful and great. The pancake served in a cast iron skillet looked and smelled delicious, the two people who ordered it devoured it. The breakfast tacos and the eggs Benedict were also good. There was live music , which was a great addition.
Brunch. The music was great.
I love this little place. Great food, great drinks and upbeat atmosphere.
Delicious food & wonderful cocktails. I’m a huge Harry Potter fan so I loved the Hogwarts Express Cocktail!
This has become my go-to spot before the theater. I love it!!! Do not miss the eggplant chips! 🤗💗
Chill live music for Sunday brunch - great atmosphere! Not to mention the Wakey Wakey Eggs & Bakey cocktail. Outstanding!!
Cocktails were good. Food was disgusting. Service was subpar.
Had a very pleasant experience.very welcoming. Food was good. Noise level is somewhere between quiet an moderate. It was not terribly noisy. Three was live music and I was able to to talk and listen comfortably with others. Server was wonderful actually.very attentive and interactive.
Beautiful bar. Great craft cocktails. Knowledgeable bartenders. Perfect sized and tasty apps. Get there early as it gets slammed after 6. We’ll be back...
Fantastic food, great atmosphere and great drinks! We loved the buffalo spring rolls!
Great pre-theatre venue for drinks and dinner. Highly recommended
Great neighborhood feeling place we had dinner at before a show. Good cocktails and food.
Went here in between Harry Potter show for the cocktails. Great handcrafted drinks, but waitress didn’t come around very much, had to ask the hostess to order food. Burgers were overdone, I think the buns were stale, and flatbread was not good. I would go for drinks and nothing else. Truffle fries were just regular fries with barely there cheese hardened on top.
The cocktails were awesome! We each had two so we could sample a variety and each one was beautifully presented and tasted great.
Excellent food, creative cocktails and fun atmosphere. Will definitely return.
great cocktails, good food, would definitely return
Was seeing a show and wanted something cheerful in the neighborhood. Wow. What a hidden gem! Amazing staff, terrific drinks (love they show what type of glass each specialty drink comes in, genius), and the food was awesome. Best shashito peppers ever (and spicy too).
If the owners are reading this, please open up another location on the UES. We desperately need something this cool in our boring hood. Can't wait to go back and experience their brunch.
Great place with good food, drinks and vibe. Definitely recommend pre or post theatre or just because.
This is my second time here. I enjoyed it both times. Make sure you make reservations because it is always packed. I wish it was a little bigger because it gets really crowded at the bar but it id very lively.
It is nicely decorated and the drinks are excellent. I always enjoy the bartenders who are master artists with drinks and small talk. The food is good bar food. A bit pricey but good.
Awesome place. From ambiance to great food and good service- A great place.
Drinks are on the higher end. Food is good and interesting
The Sunday brunch is advertised as Broadway Brunch, but I wouldn't characterize it as such. There was some very low key live music, but you couldn't hear it throughout the restaurant and no Broadway tunes. Food and drink was good, but if you're specifically going for the entertainment, I'd go elsewhere.
went for brunch on a sunday. The had a small three person string band playing nora jones songs lightly which was nice, but we were seated right in front of them which made conversation difficult. We got there when it opened and amazed at how fast it filled up. We ordered a drink (egh) and three entrees: Pancake - not impressive although big; French Toast - really good and the Avocado Smash - had to send it back to get poached eggs done right since first time they came back hard boiled, but once fixed it was delicious. $80 all in with tip. Service was fine. Place was fun and we'd go back.
Fine for the neighborhood. Our waitress did disappear for almost 30 minutes after our food was delivered, and we had to ask another server to help us get another drink.
Excellent service, fantastic drinks - the sunrise in Lima is to die for! Fabulous food.
Excellent pre-theater spot. Creative and delicious cocktails crafted with care. Great small plate options. Food arrived quickly and was plated beautifully. Bar scene was vibrant but not wild. Would definitely return and will recommend.
