Excellent cocktails at very reasonable prices. Knowledgeable servers who really understand the drinks. COVID-19 protocols carefully followed. Kind and friendly servers who are not overly familiar. Large patio with a tent in case of rain. Single-stall, gender-neutral restrooms. Fantastic music at just the right volume. Felt welcoming.

Terrific outdoor dining experience. Couldn't ask for more. Great food, friendly service, and terrific drink selection. Being able to specify outdoor dining in the reservation made me really confident about my booking and experience during this adjustment period. Will definitely be back, because I need to check out the bottle bar!

We've been hesitant to eat out during the pandemic. This was only our second time in a year eating at a restaurant. The outdoor patio and adjoining sidewalk area felt safe and fun. The drinks were fantastic. The food was great. Overall, a lovely, lovely evening out. Thank you!

The appetizers we ordered were delicious and well presented. Our cocktails were innovative and delicious! We look forward to going back again!
*note: We dined on the patio, and being early in the spring, the plants and hanging baskets of ferns looked a little sad. Understandable being it only the 1st week of April.

A nice ambiance and good cocktails. I found that the food was very overpriced for what it was and what you got. The cocktails are expensive for their size as well. I would go back if I was meeting others for a drink, but I would not return or recommend that others must go.

I'm a big fan of Dutch Courage and it is in walking distance of my house. The outdoor patio is beautiful and feels very safe during COVID. The staff is friendly and efficient. I even got to meet the owner and the chef on my last visit. The cocktails are always outstanding. The food has gone through different incarnations over the past year or so. In the past the portions were very small. This time the portions were substantial and had I known would have split the food with my dinner companion. I felt bad not eating half of my dish and it was something that would not heat up well if saved.

We enjoyed eating outside on the nice evening and the new menu was delicious. It was a very pleasant evening with our granddaughter.

This has been one of the best outdoor setups of any place we’ve visited in the city. They have 3 heaters running, most of the area covered with a tent. They did not have side tent walls so there was plenty of ventilation but still kept away from wind with the stone and brick wall partly up the to tint. Cannot wait until the city opens up outside dining again to go back. They also have a bottle shop set up with a number of unique Gins. We bought a earl grey gin which was good.

Absolutely amazing ! Ambiance, cocktails, everything !

Dutch Courage has been one of our favorite quarantine go-tos! Besides having fabulous, creative cocktails and delicious small plates to share, their safety/Covid protocol is on-point. And their outdoor dining area is absolutely adorable- such great ambiance! If you can't dine-in, you can always just swing by their bottle shop, which has a wonderful selection of unique liquors to make cocktails at home. I highly recommend checking Dutch Courage out- you won't regret it!

Best meal ever eaten in the freezing cold!!

Kim was amazing! My new favorite spot in Baltimore. I’ve only dined out 3 or 4 times this year, and each time felt this risk wasn’t worth it. This time felt super safe, and even though it was cold, food drinks and service were outstanding. I don’t think I’d be back again this winter unless you added heaters, but once it warms up again will definitely be back:)

Even as the weather turns colder, Dutch Courage has created an incredibly festive, cozy, covered patio to enjoy those great cocktails (including a lot of winter-themed warm drinks). Make a reservation & check it out!

The atmosphere here is so perfect, you won't even care you're in outdoor only seating. It is a holiday bomb, cheering up anyone's spirits - through lights and cocktail listing. The food they bring you is so comforting, like a warm hug of chicken and dumplings or the perfect winter cheese plate. There is also (THANK GOD) always a unique vegetarian option. I'm SO over places that have 8 amazing meat dishes and a "house-made veggie burger" that falls apart and tastes like baby food (in texture and flavor). Not here. Try a "crab cake" made of lion's mane mushrooms - so dang good!

They also have an incredible bottle bar inside, 10% off their whole selection of unique spirits and cans. On top of all of this, the owner here is a gem of a human being and each staffer brings to you warmth and kindness. They are fantastic.

Wonderful vibe on their outdoor patio, friendly service, tasty cocktails, and delicious food. Can't wait to come back!

Love this place! Excellent cocktails, great food. Amazing space.

My wife and I tried Dutch Courage for the first time for Sunday Night date night. The outside courtyard was gorgeous and the staff was attentive and friendly. I had a mock tail that was absolutely delicious and we are off the special Sunday menu. I had a chicken sandwich and my wife had a vegan sausage both were amazing. Would return to try their normal menu in a heartbeat.

Perfect spot for cocktails. They offer a $5 happy hour cocktail on weekdays from 4-6, which is always something completely unique, and definitely worth trying. They have a great outdoor courtyard for social distanced drinks, and the staff is very kind and attentive. Highly recommend!

Great place to experience outdoors during the pandemic. Entire staff is vigilant about precautions while still providing a fantastic experience. Also, more importantly the cocktails are delightful.

Service was amazing, the patio is beautiful and the drinks delicious. They take social distancing very seriously. It is the perfect place to enjoy a drink and the city - and I cannot say enough good things about the staff and owner.

What a beautiful and well run place! So romantic. Our service was fantastic. The happy hour prices allowed us to try various items. Our server was so professional. Lovely place for a date. Can’t wait to return.

Incredible, creative cocktails, delicious cheese board

We had a great time . It was very cold out but the warm drinks were great and they helped . This is my new cocktail spot .

Dutch courage has attentive and informed staff. The cocktails are Fun and delicious. The food is excellent. We had the Beef Dip Sandwich and the After School Snack Sandwich. The sandwiches came with a yummy slaw and were very good. The back patio is cozy. If you drive, parking is plentiful and safe.

Delicious hand crafted cocktails!

Such a great trendy and cozy spot! My friend and I loved our cocktails and the appetizers we ordered. Our server, Kim, was extremely attentive and knowledgeable of the menu. I'll be requesting her next time! I highly recommend Dutch Courage.

On par with Clavel and WC Harlan as the best cocktails in Baltimore or anywhere. Stylishly muted, unpretentious atmosphere.

We love the food, drinks, service and beauty of the outdoor space at Dutch Courage. The only complaint is the noise level - which is exceptionally high for an outdoor space. Turning the music down would be helpful.

Wish there was a better menu with more options on Sundays. Staff didn’t seem too concerned that patrons were rained upon while sitting in outside areas.

Great food, drink, and service!

Dutch Courage is my new favorite place to go! The outdoor patio area is decorated so well, it feel cozy and comfortable. We were treated well by every staff person we encountered and the food was outstanding! Particularly loved the fermented onion dip and the lamb gnocchi. I highly recommend Dutch Courage.
