Another wonderful birthday spent at DUO, never disappoints

Glad they are open again. Great service, Brendan was excellent. Food great as always. Wish they would add a baked potato option to the menu.

We dined at Duo for my son’s 10th birthday dinner. I very thing was fantastic! I loved that they had a teen menu in addition to the adult and kids menu. Most restaurants only offer a kids menu with limited fare, but I was pleasantly surprised by the more mature options and larger portions on the teen menu. The food, ambiance and service were all fantastic- we cannot wait to go again!

Fantastic food and service. The restaurant is beautiful as is the setting. Everyone enjoyed the meal, grandparents, parents, and teenagers.

The food was amazing but the service was probably the best thing of the night. Our waitress was incredible and if I could’ve taken her home in my doggy bag with my leftover truffle lobster Mac n cheese I would have!

Excellent food and service! One of our favorite places for dinner on Maui. On the expensive side but worth it.

I would not recommend Duo. For being at the Four Seasons the steak was mediocre at best. If your are trying to have a romantic dinner this is not the place; kids are jumping in the pool right next to you.

Mahdi dish had a sweet sauce that didn’t appeal to us a lot . Would have been much nicer without it.

We have dined at Duo many times and love it. We went specifically for gourmet burger night. We have done it before and it was great. However this year the food was awful. The bun was charcoal and fell apart - almost seemed vegan. The meat was dry and scorched. For the cost, I was so disappointed. Not our typical four seasons experience

Visited on February 18. Very disappointing. Ordered 2 Caesar Salads (one lightly dressed) and 2 Chopped Salads. They brought 1/2 portion Caesar Salads. After quite a delay they brought back full size Caesar's - but not lightly dressed. The two Chop Salads were however lightly dressed (not ordered that way) and were tasteless and needed more dressing. Ordered 4 Entree's. Lobster Tail - good, Rib Eye - Good, and 2 of the Daily Fish Special which was Opokapaka, our favorite. The fish was overcooked, dry and tasteless. The excellent sauces were much needed in order to swallow the dry fish. The server offered to bring something else, but it was too late to start over again. Definitely not up to Four Seasons Standards. Spago, upstairs from Duo, but not a Four Seasons Restaurant, is far superior. Don't waste your time at Duo.

Disappointed. We were seated right on time but it was 1 1/2 hours before the entrees arrived. Server was great . The problem was the kitchen. They were not that busy.

Was there for Valentines not sure if they just overbooked are just unorganized , or new management. But the food was really bad and server kept apologizing for food that that came out so slowly.

Magnificent setting, service was aswarm and friendly and always welcoming, all with fabulous food and a total win for the evening! Thank you to Duo staff for making it the beat Valentine’s Day dinner we have ever had!!

Staff was very pleasant and helpful but the food took a really long time and the quality and portion size of the food did not warrant the high price.

3 of us ate there. We had a great table. However, one of us ordered the Onaga and it was not good. Overcooked and very dry. The manager dropped by our table and we told her about the bad meal. She said she’d check and get back to us. We never saw her again. Later, our waiter asked us about our food and we said the Onaga was not good. He acted surprised and said he’d talk with someone and get back to us. We never saw him again. Overall, very poor service with no follow through.

Amazing food!!! I have food allergies and there is an amazing menu but almost anything can be modified. This is now my favourite restaurant on Maui!! Wonderful service as well - absolutely next level

My only criticism was the eggplant dish from the Wellness menu. It was bland and the eggplant slices so thin that they had no flavour or texture to absorb any of the flavour the rest of the dish might have been able to contribute.

Had the Hawaii barbecue it was great

One of our favorite restaurants! Really enjoyed the bone in rib eye. Highly recommend for dinner, lunch or breakfast. Service is always top notch.

Well, it was a bit of a disappointment. Being this was at a beautiful Four Seasons and it is a Wolfgang Puck restaurant the meal felt a bit pedestrian. Walking in to find a bbq buffet as a dining option was a bit off putting. It really cheapens the experience. The menu itself is small and being a steak and seafood place, we chose seafood. The grilled octopus was okay, the combination with chickpea, citrus and chili-herbs was overly complicated, not as clean and good as at the Ka’anna Kitchen or The Restaurant at Hotel Wailea. My mahi-mahi with the Lilikoi Beurre Blanc was great, the sauce was incredible. Now my husband’s seafood trio, not so great. After imploring the water, a fantastic and knowledgeable guy, how he prefers his seafood to be cooked all the way through, he had to send back the lobster because of the raw interior. The scallops were well carmelized but the overall flavors of the lobster and prawn were underwhelming. The desserts were the stars of the meal. Not only were they like mini sculptures they tasted fantastic. The peanut butter one is a must. Would we go again, not for dinner, maybe dessert. On another note their bottled wine prices were very reasonable.

This is the second year I have celebrated my birthday at Duo. The whole experience make it a very special night!

Best restaurant on Maui

Wine list poor. Service ok, food coolish. Not Four Seasons level.

Great location, food is good and varied in selection. Staff need better training, as our server was scattered. He spilt my cocktail while pouring it and didn't wipe it up. I had to use my own napkin. My guest asked for a napkin because one was not at the table. He said "yes, right away" but went about waiting on other tables. I ended up getting one from another empty table.
