Nice atmosphere, great food and service, portions could be little more generous
Went there with a group of 10 for brunch. The food and drinks were amazing and service was great. It was a bit noisy but brunches seem to be that way
As usual, our food and service were very, very good. My meter clocked the noise level at 93 decibels; enough to damage hearing and make conversation more than difficult.
Always delightful at Duos. We enjoyed the new spring menu, especially the escargot starter and the halibut main!
The food was great, but the noise level was a problem. It was our waitress's first day, and we inadvertently made calculating our checks difficult for her, but she came through and maintained her cool.
Wonderful service, delicious creative dishes and the desserts were divine. Great place to go after a theater matinee.
What a pretty place! We enjoyed the new brunch menu, but I am told that the Eggs-in-the-Basket is a standard fare. That's great because I will order the same for next time. The others enjoyed Shrimp Etouffe and Bacon Scramble. No complaints either. We tried a side of grits, but all agreed that the crispy potatoes are more remarkable. After a pot of delicious French press coffee, and a tasty morning cocktail, we walked around the block to our vehicle ( parking can be difficult, but since the morning was beautiful, we didn't mind). Definitely makes our list of places to return to.
The food was average at best and very expensive for what we were served.
We had a lovely time dining here! Our server was very knowledgable and attentive, but not overly so. Really great energy, I wish I could recall her name! The food was delicious, even the olives were standouts, haha. I had the french onion gnocchi and the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because it wasn't warm enough :( Portion was leaning toward the smaller side upon seeing it arrive, but I left very full and happy. The wine was outstanding. The bison app was delicious and I tried my boyfriend's entree of fall-off-the-bone short ribs- awesome portion, delicious flavor! And, can't avoid talking about how absolutely lovely and adorably chic this place is. Love the decor! Definitely a fun spot for ladies night out, special occasion, parents in town, etc.
Very nice evening with great options! Waitress was very nice and very even keeled. She provided great advice (one of us was vegan)! Food was delicious and wine reasonably priced! Highly recommend giving this place a try!
Great brunch atmosphere was fun. Food was outstanding and reasonably priced.
Two pieces of flatbread or cracker and 4 olives for an appetizer? How cute. The main course had good flavor only they thought they could create a version of something that’s supposed to be iconically delicious. There are just some things that are better off left alone. Interpretation wasn’t required for this particular dish. IMO. We’ll have to try them again someday.
great brunch, bacon of the day was tasty and so were the pastries! Great service, as always
Duo is a wonderful place for an evening with friends or a date night. Food is excellent. Service is excellent. We've enjoyed every meal we've had there.
Great food, relaxed atmosphere. We really enjoyed Duo and would definitely return again. The restaurant has a relaxed, casual, neighborhood feel. It is in the trendy LOHI area. We all loved our dinner. The trout was fresh and delicious. I didn't like the setup and they were happy to change. We also had the short rib and the pork chops...all delicious as was the decadent bread pudding dessert. The server was really nice and helpful. We also met Tyler the Executive Chef on our way out and he couldn't have been nicer.
We try all top-rated restaurants in Denver and this is one of our favorites!
Fantastic spot. Amazing food.
Great venue for birthday brunch!
Great venue for Easter Brunch; great food and service.
This is one of my favorite restaurants. My wife's meal was excellent. I hate to comment in any way negatively with this restaurant, but my meal was not as good as I hoped. I had the pork chop which (for my taste) was quite underdone. It was a thick chop (about 1-inch), quite pink and consequently a bit tough. I did eat part of it but took over half of it home. The next day we did cook it further and it was very good. I will return to the restaurant on a future occasion and hopefully will be as satisfied as I normally am.
The French Onion Gnoochi was absolutely incredible, and the service was incredible. I will definitely be back.
The staff is kind and informative and the food is out of this world!! Duo has an amazing vibe and atmosphere! I would recommend this place to everyone and anyone!
Birthday dinner. Everything was perfect. Food is mind blowing! Service was over the top! Would go back everyday if I could
We love duo. we go as a family, we take friends individually or as a group. waitstaff is friendly and attentive. the hostess is fabulous. and the food. wow
My wife and I thought it was the best brunch we have had in a long time. Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious.
We celebrated our 70th birthday's at Duo last Saturday night. The food was excellent as was the service. We dine at Duo several times a year and look forward to our next visit.
The food was ok at best. We were both disappointed.
Great birthday dinner!
I absolutely love this place.
Awesome food, great service. Only area of improvement is the noise level
Went with four friends for a ladies’ night, and we all enjoyed our meals thoroughly!
Frequent diner. Great little neighborhood spot. A little on the spendy side but usually well worth it.
Fantastic meal and the bartender is phenomenal!
The bar service was excellent, but the table service not so much. The endive salad only had a few bits of endive and mostly wilted romaine. The trout entree and the gnocchi were excellent, however.
Made reservations for two at 11:30AMon a non-holiday Sunday. When I called at 11:10AM to let them know we’d be ten minutes late, the person who answered the phone expressed frustration and annoyance and told me that our table was reserved at 12:30 so we’d “better eat fast.” We were less than 5 minutes late after all, and the in-person service was much better than the attitude-having phone -answerer. What was particularly annoying is that the restaurant is lovely and I couldn’t enjoy my meal because of the way I was treated over the phone. The food was superb, the ambiance at brunch is loud and cheerful and warm. Not a quiet spot but a fun bright spot for fresh local bison and eggs.
Every dish the three of us had was delicious. The appetizers were fabulous. The lobster fritters were the best. We will definitely return when in town.
Duo never disappoints! We has another wonderful meal during Denver Restaurant Week but also love to come here as a favorite for brunch or dinner anytime.
Duo never disappoints. Food is always excellent and service is attentive.
Loved the soup and everything on our Restaurant Week picks. One of my favorite restaurants.
Came to celebrate a friend’s going away dinner and was not disappointed. The vegetarians and meat eaters were all pleased with the restarting week menu. The mushroom toast was on point and the loaded baked sweet potato was hands down the best sweet potato I’ve ever had!
Took business partners from NYC there for dinner. We were limited by the Restaurant Week selections but they were all good. Pork chops were pretty dry but the presentation was lovely. Our server was terrific . Will certainly come again when we have a few more choices on the menu. This is a lovely neighborhood spot and we are grateful to have it in the neighborhood.
