Established in 1983, Duner’s is a casual fine dining restaurant located five miles west of Charlottesville. The menu changes daily, crafted from locally sourced, seasonal ingredients under Relais & Châteaux Chef and Owner, Christian Kelly. Our extensive wine list, curated by General Manager & Sommelier Matthew Blaszak, ensures the perfect pairing for every dish.

•Bar Seating is available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

•Parties are limited to 6 guests on Friday & Saturday.

•We allow 1.5 hours for parties of two and 2 hours for groups of four or larger. For extended dining, please book a reservation for 7pm or later/

•The Porch is heated in winter, cooled in summer, and open-air during temperate months. Enjoyable for both small parties and groups of 6-12. Also suitable for private events of 25-40 people when available.

•Parties larger than 12 must reserve with the General Manager by contacting 434-293-8352 or dunersrestaurant@gmail.com

    Always wonderful Food but our visit had extremely uneven service as if we were a constant after thought. Very surprising -but more than one staff person was harried and less than gracious. We will of course try again as we have loved Duner’s for decades . Hoping it was just an off night.

    this was my first time at Duner's. It was one of the best meals I have had. The steak was melt in your mouth good. The flourless chocolate cake was awesome! I loved every bite! It's a great place for a special occasion.

    We are not from the area, just touring through. Someone from the resort we stayed at mentioned this restaurant. It was outstanding.

    Not Duners, since 2022, when the original owner sold the establishment. Same menu year after year. Don’t like that I heard a waitstaff person lying to customers that they change the menu every day. This place is all about profits.

Since 2022, we've worked hard to carry on the great work of those who came before us, preserving what guests have long loved about Duner's while bringing fresh energy to the experience. Our menu changes three or four items nightly, leading to a full rotation about every two weeks—though a few beloved staples remain by adamant request! Our team is coached to mention these changes when greeting a table as to keep the guests informed of the style of service we are trying to curate. While we may not be exactly as you remember, we’re proud of the thoughtful, ingredient-driven dining we offer today and truly appreciate every guest who joins us.     The food and service is as usual - great! But the noise on the porch is a huge distraction and headache inducing.
