DUNE at Auberge Beach

Stellar dining experience! From entry to exit, no detail was overlooked. Our server River was fantastic, the food was impeccable and the space is just stunning. If you are in or near Ft. Lauderdale, you MUST dine at Dune!
Dim sum weekend brunch is Awesome !!!
We had our engagement dinner here and loved it!! The wait staff were all pleasant and courteous and provided top notch service! Bone marrow and lobster appetizer is a must try!
Was pleasantly surprised by my recent meal. I had good experience with Napa Auberge, but sometimes Ft Lauderdale beach sites can be more flashy and less substance. That was not the case with Dune. Affordable wine options by glass and bottle. Food prices lower than I expected. Service attentive, but not hovering.
It's not worth the drive from Miami. We may have had a better experience if the seating was better
Beautiful restaurant in upscale hotel/residences on the beach. Excellent service. Meal was delicious. It was very expensive, but we did order high end foods such as bone marrow. We went with our 2 kids for an early dinner, around 5:30 PM. It was fairly empty and quiet. Will return.
Extensive wine list; great starters; variety of options
One of our favorites
The food and service are consistently reliable and excellent. We shared rack of lamb (from New Zealand) and it was delicious. The waiter was a real joy because he formerly served Wayne Huizenga, whose advice we had received from a mutual friend years ago "QTR" = quality time remaining; a key reminder on life and how precious it is.
Terrific place for Sunday brunch-with outdoor deck seating right on the beach. Perfect!
The food was pretty lackluster; even for half the price it would not have been worth the trip out. I'm really disappointed.
The best burgers. The new pastry chef is amazing. Every bite was intense in flavor. Can’t wait to go back.
Great restaurant.... they need to mark valet a little better. Love long board options ... I had the black grouper and it was an 8 on scale of 10.
Fish was very fresh with unique preparations. Service very good. Felt like they appreciated our business.
The food was phenomenal and great service— can’t wait to go back.
Dune is an excellent combination of fine dining and a decent value. The space is lovely-restrained and tasteful. Service is friendly but professional. The menu is a nice combination of options, and for fine dining, is actually not overly expensive. On a recent visit over the holidays, I started with the lobster "salad" - it's really a half lobster tail and a side salad with a retro green goddess dressing. The chilled lobster was perfectly prepared and was a generous portion for a "salad". And at less than $30 a good value. For my main I had the chicken over polenta -it was delicious with a crispy skin and a flavorful sauce. To wrap up, we shared the key lime cheesecake and the chocolate cake. A great meal for less than $75 per person (before drinks and tip). Not someplace I would go every day, but also not outrageous compared to "special occasion" restaurants.
You can’t pay the $8 valet with cash which is ridiculous. We were told our table needed “10 minutes” to clean it and told us to go to the bar. When they realized we weren’t going to bar for a drink, our table was miraculously ready. Further, while waiting for our table we took a spin around the entire restaurant, there were plenty of other tables for our size party ready. And through our entire 1.5 hour visit, there were a number of tables unoccupied. The AC turns on and off about every 5-8 minutes blowing ferociously directly on us. They need to redirect the vents so as to keep diners comfortable. My hair was actually moving from the wind of the AC. Very uncomfortable.
I think this is the best restaurant in Fort Lauderdale!!! Thank you.
It was my second time to the restaurant. This time met with some disappointment. 4 brunch menu there were no standout options on the menu. There were two items for dessert. One was bread pudding and the other was some stale Donuts which we sent back.
Two things where they can improve validate the $8 for the parking there's absolutely no other place where you can park so a very ritzy building like that could handle a hit of validating parking. The other thing is get a different menu if you can't put your best foot forward during holiday season that's a shame
It's a beautiful spot it's trendy it needs a revamp before it sinks down when we asked why there weren't other items on the menu for dessert they said they were working with their pastry chef. I think if you can't put your best foot forward during holiday season he could be downhill from there. Like I said I would give it another chance because it's a beautiful spot work on the parking thing because you're absolutely insulting the very people who are going there by asking them to park and pay and secondly revamp you menu to at least would have Dyna with or for don't let it run into the ground
Loved everything about our experience. Food was exceptional, service was great and ambiance was fun!
Staff were very friendly and accommodating. The food was fantastic but the portions were little.
Luis was terrific service/pace.
Tony was a great server! He remembered me from the last time I had dinner at Dune.
Atmosphere is nice, service was very good. Food was excellent, a little on the salty side tho. Had fish and my husband had a bone in rib eye. Very good! We will be back but I will be asking to not salt up the dishes. For dessert we got the warm cookies-so fantastic
Long wait (45 minutes) to be seated for our reservation. However, excellent food and waiter greatly made up for our initial disappointment.
Table was not ready for our reservation. Seated at least 1/2 hour late. Food was just ok.
It was Christmas Eve with a fixed price menu. Each course was excellent. As was our waiter, Aldo.
The restaurant had no wine pairing for the menu. But Aldo cobbled one together for us by dividing normal pours into thirds allowing us to try several different wines.
And, best of all,the sometimes erratic kitchen produced a flawless meal. Keep up the good work Dune.
Food was amazing, especially the seafood risotto and grouper. Service was on point...attentive, not invasive. Table location was not ideal, as it was situated in the middle of the floor, lacked ambiance. Definite room for improvement with valet service...initially valet was free, $8 charge currently. Valet service came across as hustlers, asking to park in VIP multiple times. Took a long time for retrieval of car and attendants were not professional in their actions.
Unfortunately extremely disappointing overall. Staff was exceptionally pleasant but not trained to deliver caliber of service associated with Auberge product. We were FIRST table to be seated in the dining room for the evening..why would you attempt to put us next to the wait station and kitchen entrance in the very back of the restaurant? Why after ordering a half dozen oysters was I served a dozen? Then told by server I would only be charged for a half and then actually charged for a dozen when the bill came? Too exhausted by the meal overall and just paid for them. We ordered one split of champagne..two came, had to uncomfortably, again, send one back. Ordered a bottle of wine for main meal, asked for it to be opened promptly in order to breathe..had to remind the server twice to do so. Had to tell the food runner twice who got what food. Again, not a big deal for the average meal but this should have been more than an average meal. Nothing about the meal gave rise for a reason to return. Truly unfortunate.
It was a wonderful dinner with my family
Running late and stuck in holiday traffic, Isaiah answered the phone with a smile and assisted me with the reservations. Good Start. The entrance is well done and smells like a spa. Once seated, Valentino, our waiter, guided us through the menu and offered wonderful advice. Great atmosphere punctuated with great food, wine and service.
Portions are very small for the price. Too much salt in everything.
Stylish tastefully decorated. Pleasant atmosphere and staff.
Fish was excellent. Substituted high end liquor and up charged. Disappointed dj left early on a Saturday night. Would go back.
So not worth it. $95 for a “for the table” dish that wasn’t even enough for two people. And the worst part was it was just ok - nothing special.
Took wife and daughter ...good service
And great food on Sat night with nice DJ playing tunes ...big cool wine list with premium juice by the glass
The food, service and atmosphere are perfect! Everything was excellent!
When Dune first opened it was wonderful it has changed and not for the better quality of food is not the same and the constant staring of up charge for certain alcohol has really not lived up to Auberge standard. Not going back and it was our fav local spot. Disappointing!
