From its inception, The Dundee Bistro has been a leader in sourcing fresh ingredients from neighboring farms, ranches and waters, seeking organically produced foods whenever possible. The dining room menu changes seasonally. Foods are house made, from pasta to soups, sauces and desserts. Pure flavors from fresh ingredients: vegetables, fruits, wild mushrooms, lean meats, fish often delivered by the fishermen, herbs from the garden and fresh olive oil encompass our dishes that are light, healthy, delicious and beautiful.

Great facility. But despite seating by reservation only they were "caught unaware" by being very busy and understaffed. The result was poor service. Some of the food was OK, but stay away from the gluten free pizza. It's like eating a cardboard box. In this day and age, there are much much better options and recipes.
The outdoor setting, food (best pastrami out there) and server Suzanna) were all excellent!
Not too bad! Food was good, service was a little slow. I think they needed more servers though for the amount of space they had to cover.
Love going here, always a pleasure, good food, good wine, good service, the staff are always helpful, professional and knowledgeable thank you
Due to our early (5:00) reservation we had the place to ourselves for a good thirty or forty-five minutes before several more social distancing diners arrived. We're grateful for the Bistro to allow inside dining. Food and wine were great, just what we were looking for. Excellent steamer clams from what was obviously a downsized menu. Our server was perfect. We're looking forward to returning soon.
The service was amazing! The food was amazing! The wine was amazing and the dessert was amazing!!
The Bistro itself was wonderful. Unfortunately there is another place next door that has a very loud live band going on the weekends - horrible music too. We wanted to sit outside but we could not even hear to talk. Luckily the Bistro was able to seat us inside which was better.
Spontaneous choice on the weekend of our 22nd Wedding Anniversary. Wine tasting during the afternoon and dinner at the bistro. Staff wore face masks and were very safe and professional.
The food was good and came out in a timely manner. The waitress was very nice and checked in on us frequently.
The Bistro is always fantastic and consistent. We had out of town guests, familiar with the area but who had never gone to The Bistro. They were extremely impressed with the service, food quality and ambiance. Thank you so much for helping us show how great our valley is.
Always great food and service!! I love the outdoor seating!
The food was excellent. We had the fried chicken and the pork chop with mushroom risotto. The fried chicken was perfectly crispy outside and juicy inside. The mushroom risotto had a lot of flavor and paired perfectly with the pork chop. The pork chop was perfectly cooked. Server was not very attentive - he never came by the table to see how we were doing. We had to actively seek him out each time we needed something. Wine selection was disappointing.
There is no easier place for satisfaction when looking for simple, good dining in the area.
The food was decent but for the price we wouldn’t go back. Rosmarino or Red Hill Market (more casual) had better quality food and the same/better service for a lower price.
Great place for food and wine. Just wish they wouldn’t run out of their fried chicken!
Food excellent, service good, safety protocols good
Waiter was disengaged from the beginning. Never told us the specials (didn’t know they had them until a table near us had a steak served, not on the menu, and would have been our choice!) We couldn’t find him for a second drink, to get a box, ask about dessert, or get the check. Finally went to the hostess after not seeing him for 30 minutes and just being over the whole thing. Unfortunate experience for a special occasion. Wouldn’t recommend.
Great meal and finish to a day of wine tasting in the valley.
four of us enjoyed lunch on the Bistro Patio with comfortable separation from other diners. Staff was very helpful but not intrusive. The food and wine was fabulous!
Dundee Bistro is our go-to lunch spot for lazy trips to the Oregon coast or Wine Valley tours.
We enjoyed a delicious lunch on a charming shaded patio. The service was friendly and efficient. It was a safe, clean and open dining environment.
Great place, food and service. A must stop while you are in Willamette wine country.
The food was SO good but unfortunately the service was very poor. We waited 15 minutes before our server came over. She never asked if we wanted drink refills throughout dinner, barely checked on us. They didn’t appear very busy so my feeling was she didn’t care. It was our anniversary so we were just happy the amazing food made up for the poor service!
Spectacular lunch all the way around!!! Thanks, Daniel and your gracious team for a perfect afternoon.
Prompt seating, great service, excellent food, reasonably priced.
In the days of Covid they did a great job, the seating was outside, a good 12' or more from the next table and everybody was wearing a mask.
We were very disappointed in the food. Had a chicken pizza. The chicken was dried out large chunks thrown on. The mushrooms and cheese were very sparse. Would not recommend visiting.
Staff was very accommodating. Food was excellent.
Let me preface this with saying I was a waitress and bartender for 10 years at 5 different restaurants and bars.
Dundee Bistro was fine, but I wouldn't say good. The outdoor seating area was beautiful, however, we waited a good 10 minutes before anyone came over to take our drink order. There were only 6 tables outside including us and it was not busy inside. 2-3 different servers checked on all tables aside from ours during these 10 minutes and even made eye contact, but simply walked away without even saying hello or introducing themselves as our server. I had noted in the reservation that the we were a bachelorette celebration (there were only 3 of us) and the bachelorette even had a sash on, but no one at the restaurant made this feel like any sort of celebration throughout our meal.
The caesar salad was $15. I'm not sure there were even anchovies in the dressing. It didn't taste like anything, just some creamy white dressing with no flavor over iceberg lettuce. It had a few olives in it, but this was definitely not worth $15. The truffle fries were $7 and not fantastic when considering the flavor and portion size.
Our food, drinks and desert came out very fast, however, I've had more warm, friendly and enjoyable experiences at chain restaurants for regular dinners that were not special occasions.
1 order of truffle fries, 1 caesar salad, 1 ribeye, 1 pizza, 1 pasta, 1 tiramisu and 2 Arnold Palmers cost $125. To me, the food and service was not worth the value and the experience definitely did not reflect the rating this restaurant has.
We just had our first meal at Dundee Bistro. Because of COVID, we made reservations and sat outside. There was enty of space to be socially distanced, etc. The food was yumny and the portions were generous. The only problem we had was the service. We ordered a starter...a charcuterie plate but they never brought it, just the main entrees. We asked about it and the server who brought out our food went back to check on it and then came back out and asked if we still wanted it. We didn't at that point. Our original server came back out and never said a word about it...not "sorry for the confusion/error" or anything at all. So that kind of annoyed us. I clearly heard my huband order it, but we were wearing masks so maybe it was hard to hear? I don't know but at least acknowledging that we got less than we were expecting would have been the right thing to do in the situation in our opinion.
The specialty dish of spaghetti and prawns was fantastic. The rest of the food was fine, but not food we would order again. Service was polite but could have been more upbeat and engaging.
A little disappointed we could not eat in the nice dining room like our last trip BUT the food is still outstanding. I guess they are doing the best they can under the circumstances. Our party of four each had a different entree and all were delicious.
Server was friendly and helpful. Kitchen accommodated a special request. Unfortunately, the ribeye special was not great. Very... overly fatty with some gristle. Had to be choice grade at best (lower?). My medium was cooked medium rare and was cold. Took it home and was much better as a sliced and pan fried leftover. Loved the buratta and fries.
Food is great, the ambiance and covered out door eating is much like holiday in Italy.
Considering the restrictive guidelines in place at this point in time it was an excellent experience. We sat outside, service was great and the food and wine excellent as always.
Martini perfectly made, tasty pasta Bolognese and burger. Truffle fries and aioli also delicious.
It’s a little spendy, but always worth it! This was our first dinner out since Covid, and we weren’t sure what to expect. However, the service and food were fantastic as always and dining on the patio was such a welcome option. Highly recommend!
Outside of the Clams (which were amazing), the food was pretty sub-par to say the least. Lots of shells in the oysters; the caesar salad tasted and looked like something a 5 year old whipped up and then charged $15 dollars for it. All in all, the portions were extremely small given the large price tag. So many better places to eat in that area.
Excellent service and great food.
Very pleasant surroundings with good service and nice staff.
Our meal was good, the flavors were great. My brother in law needs specific modifications for his salad and they were not followed, so we sent it back and it was better. They were happy to change their error. We enjoyed the setting and being outside. It was nice to have such an easily accessible area to relax in and catch up with each other. It was a lovely birthday lunch for my 65th birthday!
