Husband and wife team share their love of food & wine in Brooklyn's Carroll Gardens, at new restaurant DUMONET, an elevated French American bistro. Karen, originally from Scotland and raised in Paris, welcomes you at the front of house by the restaurant's original bar, and Jean-Louis, who was born and raised in France, leads up the magic in the kitchen.

Dumonet’s cooking is best described as contemporary, haute yet hearty, with a focus on simplicity and letting the ingredients speak for themselves.

Favorite appetizers include the Tarte Flambee, Sauteed Sweetbread and Artichoke Salad, and Crab Cake . DUMONET classics include the Chef's top dishes throughout his 35+ year career, including his Foie Gras Terrine. Top mains include the NY Strip, Nantucket Bay Scallops, and Duck Two Ways.
