Dum Pukht is an Indian restaurant serving authentic cuisine from the region. The inside of the restaurant is elegantly decorated with plenty of golds and reds punctuating the tasteful decor. The dining area is extremely spacious, allowing guests to not feel crammed and enjoy their meal in comfort.
Dum Pukht has a lunch buffet option during the day that guests can take advantage of. For one set price, diners can sample most of the menu at their leisure, trying out all that Dum Pukht has to offer without committing to one single dish. The menu mostly consists of different curry specialties and tandoori, which is dishes cooked in a signature clay oven to maintain maximum moisture within the dish. The most popular item here, the chicken tandoori, is glazed in garlic, ginger and cilantro. Each meal comes with complimentary papadums and cilantro with a tangy sauce for dipping.

Everything was Perfect and food was tasty and service was awesome
Excellent authentic food and great service. Will recommend to friends.
It is too much pricey...we cannot go often there...once in a while would be ok.. Jasmin was fantastic.
- nice space
- waiter was nice and helpful, made a good recommendation to me. However, didn’t offer more water or if we wanted more wine
- food was good, solid value.
The food was excellent and the service was great. The restaurant was very busy but the food and drinks came on time and everyone enjoyed the meal.
This is one of our favourite fine indian restaurants. Food here is always yummy, great and most importantly is consistent every time you go. Service is really fast and good as well. It's curries/gravy are very authentic and each curry taste unique and different unlike other restaurants.
I would anytime prefer this Indian restaurant to any other without any second thoughts. Wish they can open multiple branches to cater across GTA.
Tasty food. Nicely presented. Large selection. Lovely spicy food. Taste buds go in a wonderful journey.
Food was good. Service was acceptable. Overall, I would go back.
Food was good but our server was amazing. He made the difference that evening!
Very good experience. The food is above average but could be improved further. Methi Matar Malai was our favourite. Service was excellent and made the fine dinning experience a bit more finer. I found the food to be a bit over priced but I understand you are paying for the experience.
Tasty food and nice service. We ordered malai chicken as starter and was very tasty.
Went for lunch. Food was awesome and the service was great. They ran out of a few things like mango lassi and kulfi but overall it was a great. We will be back!
Amazing food and great service... staff is very friendly and attentive.. overall love the experience..
Due to a party in the main restaurant hall, the small banquet hall was used for regular customer. The place was little cold. The food was good and enjoyed it, little expensive.
It’s definitely over priced. The service is definitely not what you pay for.
Great food as always. Ordered the Dum Pukht biryiani again and First time trying their Chicken sampler and the chicken was so tender.
The food is delicious, the rack of lamb is a must have!
A very pleasant total experience. We felt welcomed once we entered the restaurant. The booth where we sat was comfortable. The wait staff were attentive and provided excellent advice on what to order. Based on their suggestions, we each ordered the lunch buffet, which turned out to be somewhat surprising. The buffet was served as a number of dishes including a spicy chicken soup, a nicely put together salad, 5 popular dishes (including butter chicken, chicken tikka), naan, basmati rice, and a sweet dessert. All the dishes were excellent and there was so much food that we needed boxes to take the remainder home, which is not usual for a buffet. Given the price of $15 per person, this was excellent value.
Overall, this was a wonderful experience that I would urge others to try. I know that we will going back.
Food was good. Biryani is their speciality not to miss. Enjoyed
Started with a warm welcome, perfect selection of reservation based on our request. The menu had a wide variety of items from appetizers to dessert. Chandan and his team go the extra mile to ensure your evening with family or friends is spent in the most special manner. It was a farewell dinner for my aunt who was going back to India and out of all the restaurants we took her, she was amazed with the entire experience and said this was the best of all. I totally recommend this restaurant for everyone. Keep up the great work.
Great tasting food, but relatively pricey compared to similar restaurants. Service is mediocre at best. Our server clearly had very little experience.
Initially we had a waitress attend to the table, she asked if we wanted drinks without a smile ...seemed she did not want to be there ,minutes later Abi believe to be the manager attended to the table , he was patient polite fast, definitely the perfect man for the position, I believe the owner was at hand but didn’t get a quick hello from him at all(would have been great, some affluent people were at the table)
Thank you Abi ...see you again soon
Only the third restaurant I have ever found anywhere in the world to offer Dum Pukht. Don't bother with any other dishes!
This was our first visit to Dum Pukht. We came with friends who were returning for their second visit. Dinner was relaxed with no pressure to hurry. Staff were friendly and responsive without being overbearing. The food was excellent, plentiful and we enjoyed our take aways the next day. Highly recommend this restaurant.
Enjoyed the meal in a relaxed atmosphere. Everyone at the table enjoyed all the items we ordered
Awesome food, beyond expectations customer service. Entire staff takes effort to make sure that your visit is memorable
It was very terrible experience for my family. One of the staff member drop the hot curry on my Mom’s neck & no one came over for help or to ask her that if she is doing fine. They didn’t even show the courtesy to apologize. They just kept doing their work & tried to hide them selves. The service was very poor. Every time, we had to call someone to order more stuff. The manager wasn’t present & the staff in charge had no clue how to handle this kind of situation which proves how poor training was provided to staff. The hire new young staff but seems like don’t provide enough training.
Great food and amazing server. Will definitely be returning.
Overall food was great, but I find the seats to be quite dirty - not the individual chairs, but the booth as they are a velvet type of fabric, in red, so I can see all the dirt clearly.
Amazing Dum & Hakka cuisine. Definitely will return!
Great dinner. We ordered via menu and so could request for the food not to be spicy. It was a bit pricy but worth every penny. We will be going there again. My husband usually gets heart burn with the South Asian spices but was good with this dinner. No burn.
They even have a buffet at lunch time during the week. We look forward to trying that.
Improve their reservation services it was not good
It was our first time at Dum Pukht tonight and we were thoroughly impressed. The ambiance, the service from the staff and the food were all beyond what we expected. The portions were bigger than other Indian restaurants we’ve been to as well. We highly recommend Dum Pukht and will definitely return!
The food was good, service was excellent. Prices are reasonable.
Wine and beer selections are good!
Really enjoyed the food! Great place for a family dinner.
Table was not available for 30 minutes inspite of having reservation. For table listed near for which was filled with people standing behind us like a roadside restaurant than a formal dining place.
Excellent food and service.
On our way home manger asked us for dessert and overall service.
He is very helpful person and we will definitely come back ....
5 out 5 star
Good selection of cuisine. Wine is so so, listed at 3 times what you pay at LCBO.
Quality food with indian taste, great ambience to enjoy dinner
We had to wait for 45 minutes even after booking the table. And the worst part was, I was standing at door watching every server and manager but no one came and greeted me for 25 minutes. Worst experiance ever.
